Have you ever seen Schlafly in the flesh? AceMcWicked 22:43, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
I swear he cut me off when I was driving to work. Other than that, no. Same county, a bit north of me I think. He lives in Far Hills, I live in Hillsborough. Senator Harrison 22:47, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- What did you think of the governor's election? (I live in Bergen County, about 45 minutes north of both of you.) Tetronian you're clueless 23:44, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- If I had voted, I would have voted for Christie (I didn't vote because I had to take my kitty to the vet). I'm happy Christie got elected, despite being a bleeding-heart liberal. I just think Corzine is an incompetent governor. However, I am SICK of the right saying that this was a vote against Obama. I'm as much of an Obama supporter today as I was when he got elected. Senator Harrison 23:55, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- There really was no one good to vote for, I didn't like any of the candidates. I found it hilarious when Fox News called it a "huge blow against Obama" even though Christie only won 49% of the vote against Corzine's 45%. Tetronian you're clueless 23:59, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ugh, yeah exactly. screw fox news. Senator Harrison 02:33, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

From one New Jerseyan to another[edit]
What do you think of Christie and his "I'll cut any spending that isn't nailed to the floor" strategy? I'm in favor of most of what he's doing, except that a lot of it is happening too fast and may have some extreme side effects. For example, he basically killed the teaching profession for the next 20 years because no one is going to want to be a teacher with so few benefits. Also, I'm opposed to some of his more extreme policies, such as eliminating the cooperative library system. (Granted, that one was just a proposal, and it probably won't pass.) In general, though, I think he is much better than Corzine in terms of being more fiscally responsible. Tetronian you're clueless 01:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well, something needed to happen to cut spending. Corzine didn't have a clue. It might be happening to fast, but it kind of has to be that way, Hopefully the side-effects won't be too bad (my girlfriend got screwed out of being a teacher). It's a little ridiculous that administrators and super intendants make as much as they do off our money. Cut that crap and the education situation probably wouldn't be that bad. Other than that, nothing has happened that I have a problem with. Like you, I'm opposed to his more extreme suggestions and hopefully they won't go through. I have also read that property taxes might go UP even HIGHER.
Tet, do you listen to 101.5? If you do, do you hate Dennis Malloy as much as I do?Senator Harrison (talk) 02:04, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- I heard about the property taxes - it's an absolute disgrace. I just hope it eventually gets better after it gets worse. I'm hoping that Christie will attack corruption and graft more, since those are probably worse than a lot of the spending he's focusing on.
- I don't listen to 101.5, but I've heard the horror stories about Malloy. Is he really that bad? Tetronian you're clueless 02:31, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, sorry about the delayed response, Tet. But yeah, he really is that bad. You just have to listen, I can't explain it. He's a jerk with a microphone, and Michele is too spineless to speak up. I hate their show. Senator Harrison (talk) 13:58, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe I'll give it a listen one day. I generally stay away from that kind of programming, but I figure I should at least see how it is. Tetronian you're clueless 01:02, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Wart[edit]
Use something like this. You basically put a little sponge on a holder, press it into a can which freezes it, and then hold it on the wart / verruca for a while. It'll drop off in week or so. CrundyTalk nerdy to me 09:26, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks but I've done that four times already. It worked for two of them, but this one is persistent. Senator Harrison (talk) 11:47, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
- Weird. I guess seeing the doctorb is the best way then (the 'B' is for bargain!) CrundyTalk nerdy to me 13:41, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
- Look, it's really simple. You just take a dead cat down to the graveyard at the witching hour.... BTW, when I googled wart folk remedies a certain web site beginning with 'R' was the fifth response. Bad Faith (talk) 13:52, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
