Wisely? Someone is at the wrong wiki......tmtoulouse 22:34, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
This recent trend towards so-called "wisdom" is troubling indeed. Where, oh where, did we go wrong? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:28, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Heh. Actually I really should be logging out for the night, got stuph to do. Nice chatting with you though. :) Wehpudicabok (talk) 05:33, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry about our recent disagreements. I just noticed you take it up the ass and I want to tell you that I fully support that. Thanks. WeAreEqual (talk) 11:13, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Clogging recent changes with blocks[edit]

Why, back in my day, we got drunk, bitched about the site changing while we slept, and then blocked the entire Wiki for a day just to keep that from happening. Lousy kids these days just don't understand what a good block war was all about. Reckless Noise Symphony (talk) 06:19, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Sounds like a good time. Wehpudicabok (talk) 06:20, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Saying it was a joke afterward. That reminds me of someone... –Александр(а) Ehrenstein (Talk | Contribs | Ragebox) 06:31, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
I'm afraid I don't follow. Wehpudicabok (talk) 06:36, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

I replied to you on my talk page.[edit]

Hi, I replied to you on my talk page. As a historian, I don't have time to deal with trolls who delete massive amounts of information without any warning or discussion. I don't think you should tolerate such people either, even if they had a history of contributing. These are not mature people and should not be allowed to just instantly wipe out all that well-cited information. Wouldn't you agree that a simple user-history of contributions on a website is not enough of a reason to automatically take his side where he clearly just deleted large amounts of text and used a sarcastic hostile tone throughout? Anthrax (talk) 04:24, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

I do agree, and I didn't take his side. My comment was intended to help you see how your contributions were being viewed. We get a lot of trolls on this site, and most of them follow the pattern of heavy, dramatic edits to just one or two pages (always on related topics), usually turning them into the opposite of what they had been. They also tend to be extremely persistent and repetitive. So we don't always have as much patience as we should when dealing with newcomers who exhibit similar behavior.
All that being said, I don't think you're being given a fair chance. I'm going to drop OS a message. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 05:27, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Edward Woodward would[edit]

Now we're getting into rough ground. This side of the pond, "ward" is pronounced "warred" with the ar prounced or - but the suffix -ward (Woodward, Southwards etc) is pronounced would. It's a wonder how we got the rest of the world to speak the language. Also, Edward Woodward should totally have starred in Ed Wood. SophieWilderModerator 10:16, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Are you caught up? Did you see what happened last night? O:B Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 17:02, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Im still somewhere at the start of act 6, but tumblr makes sure if the update matters i know about it--Mikal | lakiM 16:17, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, Hussie's really pissed at the tumblrdom because that always happens. He once said (perhaps not jokingly) that he would delete the site if he could.
It may comfort or infuriate you to know that certain character deaths are believed to be temporary and others have already been brought back to life. (They don't call Jane the Maid of Life for nothing!) Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 08:36, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Characters only die when the fandom angers hussie, or is happy. but with hussie being hussie, character death means nothing! just kill dead characters again!--Mikal | lakiM 15:07, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Yep. Jade's already back. It's like she never left, because essentially she didn't. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 08:22, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
You learn to just sorta roll with hussie. I do know some people who get to meet him at some upcoming con, idk how i;d feel if i met him, the conflicting emotions of "you bastard!" and "so cool"--Mikal | lakiM 15:49, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

No thanks. Talking with other people (even intelligent people) about video games just tends to upset me. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 22:51, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Need Help![edit]

I made some edits, added information, but a user keeps deleting them for no reason, then this user blocks me. Could you please revert edits by Sprocket J Cogswell on pages "Communism, Communist Manifesto and Vladimir Lenin" and prevent continued vandalism. (talk) 09:26, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

I didn't check all of them, but close-in-age exemptions seem to be pretty common; Alabama, Alaska, and Arkansas allow sex between minors who are sufficiently close in age. Arizona doesn't have exemptions in the law, but it is allowed as a defense in court. And that's just the A's. --ShorinBJ

Need help[edit]

I am an atheist, but I need help with something. Some Christians think that water is proof of God's existence, since it is perfect and needed for life. How do I answer this argument? Are there any other ways that my favorite compound could exist without a creator? Randomosaurus (talk) 07:42, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

No, the argument is "watertight". ROFLCOPTER, but seriously is this even a question? Tielec01 (talk) 07:47, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Assuming it is a serious question: ask them to clarify what they mean by "perfect." Also, that water is needed for life is more relevant to questions about life than about water. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 08:22, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

"How did this get removed?"[edit]

Sorry, that was me. Thank you for correcting my error on WIGO:CLOGS. --TheLateGatsby (The end of the dock ) 21:07, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

No problem. :) Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 21:08, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Happy New Year[edit]

Belay that, I appear to be very confused about what day of the year it is. Whoopsies! Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 03:52, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
No problem, I get confused about the date and time used on here too. And an early Happy New Year to you as well! Wehpudicabok [話] [変] [留] 04:10, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

I autoblocked myself again - this time I really won't put any links at all up. I thought maybe it was because I just did a direct link rather than one masked by text. And, no, I can't edit my talk page.

Thanks, unblocked, no links anymore. Bloomingdedalus (talk) 10:16, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Just a technical note[edit]

Category:Talk pages for deleted articles is only for mainspace articles. For fun pages, there's Category:Talk pages for deleted fun pages, and there are similar categories for most namespaces.--ZooGuard (talk) 12:09, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Oh, I never noticed that before. Thanks! Wehpudicabok [話] [変] [留] 00:27, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Pat on the back[edit]

For being a grown-up and apologizing. It may be hard to believe, but that can be a rare thing, and people who apologize about their something they did on RationalWiki gain some respect in my book. Reckless Noise Symphony (talk) 09:08, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks, I appreciate it. It is pretty hard for us humans to admit when we're wrong.
...I'm not sure why though. I actually felt better after I apologized. Does "saving face" really matter that much? Psychology is weird. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] [留] 09:23, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
