Anthem[edit]
You're right, it was very good, even if you're a leftist. Or at least, not a hard-core leftist, in which case it's very offensive indeed to suggest that we should be allowed to use pronouns. --Let Them Eat Cake (talk) 23:56, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

ED Wiki[edit]
I created a wiki all about ED in the ethos of RWW. I imagine you know more about ED's subculture than I ever will, I would like you to come and help. Also, I know you know how it feels to have no editors on a wiki, I am inviting you to come and contribute. Srsly, please come. Thanks, 64.180.243.158 (talk) 19:10, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- I know you know how it feels to have no editors at a wiki How would I know that? The only wikis I've edited are ED, Conservapedia, and RationalWiki. These are all active wikis with many contributors (with the possible exception of Conservapedia). Second of all, you'd do better making an account over at ED and asking there (although this may just inspire a vandalism spree). You could also ask Michaeldsuarez, who is User:JuniusThaddeus on ED to contribute. He likes wikis, he might put in a few articles for you if you catch his fancy, although he dislikes attention whoring and blogging- so he may be turned off by your premise. Personally, I have little interest in your endeavor. I have limited attention to give out, and I don't feel capable of being active on yet another wiki--"Shut up, Brx." 00:03, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
"Please don't block me...it's annoying"[edit]
So, you go round the place being annoying, and you ask to not have an annoying thing done to you. What's that about? SophieWilder 09:07, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- Apart from merely existing, what have I done to annoy you? Please, be specific.--"Shut up, Brx." 09:17, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- the most annoying thing is that you don't listen. even being told to shut up isn't some kind of warning that you've erred; instead you make it a badge of pride by making it your sig. You continually present yourself as someone who's here just to poke people, and take any reaction as a mark of acceptance. SophieWilder 09:21, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- That's not a "badge of pride." That's been the only effective way to stop Mikalos and ArchieGoodwin spamming Brx every time I say anything at all regardless of what I say. Think of it as stealing their thunder. And I do listen. I listen quite a bit. I thought about shoring up some links to prove it but I'm really not in the mood to trawl through talk page archives--"Shut up, Brx." 22:41, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

I am sorry for the way I have treated you here over the past year or so. I may not like you--or at least, your e-persona, and I may not think much of your contributions to the wiki. Not for my part. I was recently reminded of what filth you are because the board is trying to work out securing board elections after you and Nx monkeyed with the mod election with your sockpuppet voting. So let's ask Trent if you've done jack squat. People need to know there are reasons I find you to be an intolerable slime beyond your social failings and lying about me and my friends to stir up political shit. Shame on you for always playing the victim. Query[edit]
Now that I've found my way here I'll make what meager contributions that I'm capable of (and thanks for easing that!) on a variety of topics but it's probably apparent that I've got major wood for secessionists and their whole bizarre worldview. I did look about to see if I could suggest, propose or arbitrarily create a category on "secessionism" but did not find the grail. Got any advice? ThomasRowley (talk) 04:58, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Start here. Click the link and begin the article. Other users will come in on the talk page and give you tips. I think an article on secessionists would be quite relevant for this wiki, and it should probably be well-received.--"Shut up, Brx." 05:04, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thx. I think I have a take on putting together articles on, say, the Second Vermont Republic. My query had more to do with establishment of a category specific to secessionist groups, organizations, leaders, etc. For instance, the League of the South a secessionist enterprise with the usual website, meetings, book club and such is labeled under categories on RW as "Categories: Hate groups/Organizations/Paleoconservatism/Racism," but nothing specific to secessionism. Given the broad tableau of, to varying degrees, ineffectual yet vocal secessionist groups, is a separate category bearing the title "Secessionist" appropriate for RW? Some of the leaders of these groups are, um, colorful enough to warrant inclusion under a "secessionist" category, in my estimation. T. ThomasRowley (talk) 07:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Moderator elections[edit]
Moderator elections are upcoming. I'm interested in supporting a slate of candidates that would actually use the moderator tools to uphold the reason that I read this wiki (specifically, that it's the best source I can find that cuts right to the basic chase about various woo, and it's the best tracker of lols to watch on conservapedia). I am dismayed that the process to get rid of crankmeisters and trolls who support lunacy on the internet basically is "ignore them and hope they leave." Addendum - this was too broad. Should read "the process to get rid of crankmeisters and trolls who support lunacy on the internet and drive well-meaning, on mission contributors away per below discussionHipocrite (talk) 18:55, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
You appear to share my general views based on your essay regarding sysop rights. While I am quite aware who to vote against, it's not clear who one is supposed to vote for for moderator. Please provide hints in private. Thanks! Hipocrite (talk) 17:53, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
- I have a problem with your above dissertation: this Wiki has always welcomed various crankmeisters to come here and debate with us. In fact, it still says that we do on the main page. While I don't support giving them sysop rights at all, I think it is detrimental to this community to ban people outright simply because they are cranks. On the contrary, I like having someone show up and challenge us, because it allows us to hone our reasoning against whatever nonsense they are trying to promote. - I seem to share your views, Hipocrite, but I'm the wrong car to hitch your wagon to. I'm this car (small pic, but only one I could find online. One of these days I'll get a scanner). What I can suggest is that you cast your vote and support the following candidates: Blue, Nx, Pi, DickTurpis, Armondikov, ListenerX, and Tielec01. These are the people least likely to play favorites and go soft on their buddies, the least likely to have meltdowns, and the most likely to be proactive with their user rights. Of course, they may not all run. Pi, for example, will probably choose not to run. So as an alternate, AD will do, but you really prefer the seven I mentioned. These are the people who are right for this wiki (a six to one gender ratio, but what are you gonna do? There are only, like, five active women here or something, and Blue's the only one that's been consistently anti-troll).--"Shut up, Brx." 06:25, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- The blunt truth: Brxbrx is the "wrong car" to back because for a year-long period he was the most-despised troll on RationalWiki. He's tolerable now, but no one who remembers that will vote for him as Moderator. Blue is wicked smart except when it comes to wikipolitics, and often takes actions that have a mandate of nil behind them. Nx used his socks to vote multiple times in the last Mod election, and in any electoral system with sense, would never be allowed to run again. (He technically still can, unfortunately, but don't expect him to win.) AD and WaitingforGodot are the two fairest, most even-handed candidates for Mod, but Brxbrx will only grudgingly endorse them (if at all) because they were both critical of him during his trolling days. - Stabby... You were inactive for most of my stay here, and when you popped back in you immediately hopped on the brxhate bandwagon. You never substantiate any of your accusations against me, and frankly, if you could drop you stupid prejudices, we could get along alright and find that we have a lot in common.
- I had forgotten about Nx's sockpuppets. Unfortunate. I still think Blue is the best choice for moderator, though, and the few times she's exceeded her privileges was either because of serious provocation (like when Human posted emails she sent him) or she was enforcing order with her tech powers instead of her moderator powers.
- WaitingforGodot is not a good moderator. She is a bad moderator. Her laissez-faire attitude, a symptom of the endemic cronyism and butt-kissing present on this site, means she never does anything, ever. She tends to side with established trolls, and has also said she would be a hands off moderator, if at all. AD is too soft and not proactive, and will cave under pressure from his internet friends, for fear of upsetting them.
- Hipocrite, I'm sorry for dragging you into this. I can imagine having to read me and Stabby talking about this is dismaying. This is why I am the "wrong car." I'm deeply tied into a lot of crap with different users. When the time comes, support (nominate, campaign, vote) for the candidates I named (except Nx, I changed my mind), and try not to enter grudges and feuds. Also, when I say trolls, I don't just mean Brasov and Dirk Steele. I also mean certain longtime users, some of which have achieved a measure of popularity, who I see as toxic to the community and creating a hostile environment (they're trolls, but not necessarily the ones you had in mind)--"Shut up, Brx." 07:41, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

A troll is someone who intentionally sets out to create discord. This guy is'nt trying to piss people off, he is just clueless as to how to conduct himself around other people and has zero idea of what counts as appropriate. - No. I objected to his stance of calling a user a "troll" because his politics differed. He's the one who dragged "the British" into the discussion, not me. That's all. Did he doubt/Or did he try? 23:15, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
Also, I think "my posts won't matter and will be ignored"should be your new sig. Did he doubt/Or did he try? 23:16, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
- Very well. Let us put the matter to rest and hope for a swift and fair resolution to all of this over at both ATIM and Falkland Islands. And no, this signature isn't changing until Template:Brx is deleted--"Shut up, Brx." 23:18, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Never mind then. . .[edit]
My apologies. It was dripping with butt-clenching bitterness and bile, in marked contrast to older work on the page, and had extreme factual errors. I assumed the section in question was the work of a vandal. I didn't realize it was a work of the mob. I'll be on my way. ModerateYourTone (talk) 05:18, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Okay. But you gotta admit it's the truth. Sorry, but I've heard conspiracy theorists (my sister being one) but this guy takes the retard cake. Darth Kieduss the Wise (talk) 05:41, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Block[edit]
Since the community embraced a months long block against Mikemikev, I'm blocking you infinitely because your behavior is worse. You've got a long record of trolling RW and acting against its interests, so we're done here. Go write about "===Surviving a nigger attack=== [[File:Blackguywhitegirl.jpeg|thumb|right|After getting a pure white virgin drunk, a negro moves in for the kill]]" Don't want to hear some nonsense about ED being about offensive "humor" when by that standard you might as well go over to Stormfront and play along with their jokes too. After all, someone else says it's supposed to be funny, so jump right in! Go [https://encyclopediadramatica.se/index.php?title=RationalWiki&diff=279137&oldid=260137 lie about all RW because you realized you shouldn't have picked a fight with a few of the wrong people. You know very well that I'm the only one who Photoshopped cocks onto things, that I did it rarely, and that people had a strong reaction to you from the very beginning because you are you. That's not trolling. Later on, scumbag. Ugh it ruined my morning to find an email about you in my inbox. Just ruined it. 14:19, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- Good lord, you're pathetic. Got bored and decided to trawl through my edits at ED, huh? You find this vendetta of yours entertaining?
- Yeah, I made an edit to Encyclopaedia Dramatica. Almost two fucking years ago. Jesus Christ, man, get a life. (side note: I know you're claiming you received a mysterious email from a concerned anonymous informant. But you're full of shit)--"Shut up, Brx." 15:01, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- I never claimed it was an anonymous internet informant. LOL. RW people compare you to douchecanoes who don't understand our culture and who bitch when they're taken to school for making unnecessary waves. Nice non-response though. I didn't start this, but I'll finish it since you haven't said a single meaningful thing about the bullshit you've done to mess with RW or these edits evidencing a true lack of character, however long ago you made them. You haven't changed. 19:15, 17 May 2013 (UTC)

- Grow a larger beard. If you can't than try one just on your chin
- Comb your hair, maybe grow it longer so it isn't flat
- Possibly trim your eyebrows

I wonder who is more hated, me or you? I'm a hero of the proletariat, you are a servant of the regime. Let the ballot box sing its rhyme, for she is the final arbiter. MarcusCicero (talk) 19:39, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- Why are we wasting time fighting amongst ourselves - isn't the enemy of my enemy, my friend? It has long been the tactics of the establishment to sow discord amongst the repressed; to make us squabble over our most minor of differences while they, in the dark, run roughshod over our rights. The time to act like roosters in the hen house is when the revolution has achieved it's ends... but no sooner. Tielec01 (talk) 05:10, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Excuse me if you don't want me to delve into your private life, but are you an Israeli? From the picture you posted on your user page you look somewhat similar to someone I know IRL. - ConservapediaMarkman (talk) 01:35, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Please help[edit]
There's this BoN who constantly removes huge chunk of info from The American Dream (film). I tried reverting him but he's very persistent so there's not much I can do. Tried warning him on his talk page but he just blanked it. Can you block this IP or something? - Vote Markman for a better tomorrow! (talk) 19:07, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

Your revert to my edit[edit]
Just wondering why you reverted my edit. There was opportunity in the talk page over several days to object to it. Nobody objected. Kels even wrote "I don't really mind it that much". Perhaps you could explain in the talk page. Cheers. --Laird (talk) 02:09, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- I was just about to do it. You haven't established a consensus and your version seems like a white-wash. Don't confuse silence with consensus, remember this is not the other wiki. That's not to say you aren't on the right track to get things changed - I think we need a bit more consultation here. Tielec01 (talk) 02:17, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- With less contextomy, Kels wrote, "...it seems a bit of a whitewash and removes pretty much all the snark so there's not much heart to it, but on the other hand I don't really mind it that much. Rome isn't really worth that much effort." For the most part, I agree with that. Alec Sanderson (talk) 02:26, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, Tielec01, I hope we can have a conversation about this if/when you do open one up on the talk page. Alec, I'm sorry if it seems I was quoting out of context, it seemed to me that Kels was saying that even if my edit wasn't perfect in his eyes, it was acceptable enough to him - if I've misinterpreted, then I'm open to correction. I hope that you will contribute to any conversation on the talk page about this change. --Laird (talk) 02:42, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- FYI, "... wasn't perfect in her eyes" would be more correct. Unless I see something egregious that others are missing, I will probably just watch the discussion unfold. Trustworthy RationalWikians are on the case, IMO. Alec Sanderson (talk) 02:56, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
