FYI[edit]
In addition to {{ken}} to render Ken we also have {{kens}}Ken's to avoid the cumbersome looking Ken's.
- Seeing that template get so much use makes Baby Jesus cry. postate 17:04, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Election chart thing[edit]
Should we put it in Forum or main space? TyrannisAn Iron, but caring, fist 17:52, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'd be inclined to a simple Fun or RationalWiki page. We can all put predictions on the page, and then discuss things during the night on the talk page? Wikitable can be copied fairly easily from the Fun:Best Liberal Words page. Dalek (talk) 18:01, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll make the article(mainspace). TyrannisAn Iron, but caring, fist 18:03, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Barnstars[edit]
We have them, they just forgot them, or the fact that some were created by a rather controversial member who has since retired. [[Category:Barnstar_award_templates]]. An iron, yet caring fist 14:14, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

IP[edit]
You revealed your IP by accident again. If your IP is static then you can block it if you want, just check the anons only box and you can still edit. --Sir Onion Kneel before my vegetable might! 02:03, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Will block it now. Any chance you could remove that edit? Sorrrry! And thanks for all the help. EXTERMINATE 02:06, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Welcoming[edit]
Have you see MediaWiki:Welcomecreation? It's the message every newbie now sees automatically after they create their account. --Sir Onion Kneel before my vegetable might! 21:43, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, that's cool. Can we edit this just like any other article (I know it is bureaucrat-locked), or is it limited in size and style? EXTERMINATE 21:44, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think there's really a limit on style, I originally created it to look just like the welcome template. --Sir Onion Kneel before my vegetable might! 21:48, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe I'm paranoid, but I imagine a lot of people skipping it over and barely noticing it, just going back to main page or whatever, maybe some colour would help it out. If I made a suggested one, in my userspace, would people be at least prepared to look at it, or shall we just leave it to the 'crats? EXTERMINATE 21:51, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- There's no reason not to. --Sir Onion Kneel before my vegetable might! 21:53, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

That bouncing ball[edit]
I was away for a while, and missed the mass removal of the {{wp}} template. How about putting something like this in a visible spot on the template page or its /doc page?

[edit]
I think I'll try to write up something about pi woo tomorrow to fill out the pseudomathematics stuff a bit. Do you have any thoughts about what pages should be created? I'm thinking that infamous Indiana law might deserve its own page, but I'm not sure what to do with the other stuff. All the claimed values for pi stuff is closely intertwined with squaring the circle, but as it stands that page is more or a less a subset of compass and straightedge constructions. I'm thinking of changing squaring the circle to focus more on specific claimed values for pi and other stupid stuff people have said. Another possibility would just be to dump all this stuff on a page "Fallacies about pi" or something and keep it in one place. Any comments? --MarkGall (talk) 05:29, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
