Your edits to Anita Sarkeesian[edit]

Please take your issues to the talk page. Placing a statement there several days ago and getting no response from anyone does not justify your change to the article. And please don't call me a vandal. Cosmikdebris (talk) 19:09, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

I did, in fact, take my concerns to the talk page, which in turn, received no objections. Yes, if I provide sources and nobody objects to the change with reasoning, my change was and still is justified.--HairlessCat (talk) 19:14, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
Cosmikdebris, you probably should've taken the time a decent edit summary first (as HairlessCat requested) rather than confuse HairlessCat by reverting edits. You probably know better that edit warring is not acceptable, but this might not be as apparent for HairlessCat. HairlessCat, it's best not to label people you edit war with as "vandals". --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 20:04, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

Terence McKenna[edit]

I have moved your newly created page to Draft:Terence McKenna. Please do not create outline stubs in the main space. Thanks. Cosmikdebris (talk) 20:08, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Dream Journalining and Dream Talk[edit]

es I spent some time with lucid dreaming, Practice with sleep is underrated. it's not woo-woo poo-doo, you can notice rhythms and how to hit them, bu5 you basically have to sleep all the time and mark what you remember. if you have the time to learn how to dream, how to sleep, it pays dividends. I used to not be able to sleep as a kid for nightmares. I've charged through a lot of that, now nightmares take a backseat to sleep, and I'll goof on it . I had a dream this week that got frustrating, in real time I was sleeping past my alarm, but anyway I got called out in dream time, and it pissed me off, I was mad about a guy just throwing a clipboard into a ceiling fan to see what happened, and I yelled at him to stop. I don't yell, I don't think I can, but I shouted at this random dude to stop. He sarcastically said "OK, [name]". "You're gonna call me [names] when you're the one throwing the clipboard into the ceiling fan?" "It's your dream, man" Good dream rebuttal, woke me up on time. Nice how we like to entertain ourselves into doing things instead of just doing them like robots. HairlessCat (talk) 12:15, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

McKenna fan[edit]

Hey dude, I happen to be an old fan of Terence McKenna's writing. I've also met his brother. Didn't expect to see someone flaunting McKenna memes on a skeptic/pro-science website, lol. Nebuchadnezzar7658 (talk) 00:30, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

@Nebuchadnezzar7658 Cool! This is definitely not the environment where I expected to find another one, aside for the occasional person like Sam Harris. Seen his article: Terence McKenna? HairlessCat (talk) 00:43, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Yeah I saw that article. I think it's great. Have you read all his books? Nebuchadnezzar7658 (talk) 00:46, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
@Nebuchadnezzar7658 I read Food of the Gods and True Hallucinations a long, long time ago. Watched some lectures of his on the internet though. HairlessCat (talk) 13:14, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Nice. I started listening to his lectures a few years ago and then read those books and Archaic Revival. Food of the Gods and True Hallucinations are amazing. Nebuchadnezzar7658 (talk) 15:57, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
@Nebuchadnezzar7658 Certainly takes an open mind to like McKenna. HairlessCat (talk) 23:20, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Yup. He's eccentric in all the right ways, and extraordinarily articulate. Nebuchadnezzar7658 (talk) 03:13, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Can you not[edit]

I don't like the "reeee" nor do I like how you left a comment on a talk page of a user I'd rather we leave alone until they start typing garbage again. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 02:44, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

@LeftyGreenMario Yes, master. HairlessCat (talk) 02:55, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Tim Pool[edit]

I've reverted you several times now for adding stupid insults in the opening sentence. Please avoid adding childish insults to the article. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 16:04, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

1. I was only adding to what was already put there. 2. These are well-established nicknames across the internet people use for him that I haven't made up. If you want citations, I'll get them. HairlessCat (talk) 17:07, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
There is a strategy that is more effective than simply resorting to insults at the beginning of an article. Very often our users treat this type of article as a way to express animosity towards the subject. Honestly, I understand the motivation. Pool is a Trump Supporter, so I am ill disposed towards him without knowing much more about him. The strategy is to describe the person in greater detail. Calling him names has already been done elsewhere, as you have reported. I would remind everyone that Trump is very fond of derisive nicknames. I, for one, have lost my taste for them.
