You're me now, too.[edit]
Just dropping in to say that TK and Karajou now think that you're me. It's because this diff has my name in the left column. So they now think that I begged Linus to cover up some "goof" of mine because I posted "in character as PFoster". No, they can't read diffs, it seems. --Sid 12:32, 29 July 2007 (CDT)
- Damn, sorry to hear about that. Bills are sucky, but depending on who you get, the advisor is way worse. What rough branch is your thesis in, if I may ask? I'm in the math/comp.sci branch myself, and the "thesis-writing" gig will start in a few months (blegh). --Sid 20:02, 29 July 2007 (CDT)

RW's luster[edit]
Sorry the site is loosing its luster for you, it certainly ebbs and flows for us all I think. It's pretty hard for me to follow discussion and issues that go beyond basic site maintenance and the few issues that I am interested in. Since I can't motivate myself to get involved with the supremist I have basically ignored them and so not aware of all the issues surrounding that. Anyway, just a note to say I have enjoyed your contributions and hope things get more entertaining for you in the future. tmtoulouse oppress 14:41, 19 November 2007 (EST)

I just demoted you to sysop. I think we have found that a 1 hour block deters most vandals. Recurrences might need several hours or a day. We try to keep them short in general. You might want to practice on an innocent editor to see how the screens look. Thanks. I shall try to rebuild my shattered persona and I cannot recall the Dreadnought password. CP banned me for five years ! Mind you I was taking the P155. I was particularly proud of Sir Farnaby Widdecombe, cut down in his prime as a wholly imaginary polar explorer accused of cannibalism for eating his own leg after a self amputation on the Widdecombe ice shelf, but sadly reverted in his prime.Perhaps it might be better for security if I did retain the Streona user (Eadric Streona- worst Briton of the 11th century). I do not knoe exactly what happened but my son may have mucked around and accidently reverted some of the earlier reverts, but the later rollbacks were happening in front of me. My son has also posted several entries on Wikipedia proposing to duff-up Creationists: he is only nine and a fanatical Darwinist and this is probably how they sort things out at his school.
Streona 21:45, 31 December 2007 (EST)
Also someone attempted to rollback my user page, but was blocked because they were not me, after I mentioned a rival wiki site who also banned me simultaneously as I mentioned a certain bearded politico with a passing resemblance to Santa Claus which is why I was perhaps a bit paranoid about them.
Streona 22:01, 31 December 2007 (EST)
Wouldn't I like to know. Apparently EVDebs reverted my piece on Mein Kampf- which is not especially controversial (except for Metapedia) within 2 minutes according to my log. I asked him and my post to his user page was almost immediately reverted. I don't know if this is some automated process, but it looks as though I should use my alter ego. This is being posted on a different computer than before.

Why are you denying the truth?[edit]
Why are you denying the truth that Nazis KKK and white supremacists are conservative? You're as bad as Conservapedia. Lulzno 23:10, 27 January 2008 (EST)
- Because "conservative" as the word is used in contemporary Western political discourse for the most part, does not automatically mean "racist." Some conservatives are racist - many are not. Many liberals are not racist - and some are. Racism is a pervasive and pernicious set of beliefs that is not limited to one end of the political spectrum. It's easy to point to the Republicans and say "they're racist" - but it's not necessarily the case and it obviates the fact racism is everywhere in society. The KKK and the Nazis are not conservative in the way that most conservatives would define as so. PFoster 23:16, 27 January 2008 (EST)
