Hey, fella :) --Robledo 18:50, 17 July 2007 (CDT)

Hi! Saw your post to Ed (which apparently got you perma-banned) and several of your discussions. Nice style! Glad you're here. :) --Sid 19:41, 17 July 2007 (CDT) (who also got yet again banned there recently)
Hello and welcome.--Bob_M (talk) 04:17, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

You're me now, too.[edit]

Just dropping in to say that TK and Karajou now think that you're me. It's because this diff has my name in the left column. So they now think that I begged Linus to cover up some "goof" of mine because I posted "in character as PFoster". No, they can't read diffs, it seems. --Sid 12:32, 29 July 2007 (CDT)

Damn, sorry to hear about that. Bills are sucky, but depending on who you get, the advisor is way worse. What rough branch is your thesis in, if I may ask? I'm in the math/comp.sci branch myself, and the "thesis-writing" gig will start in a few months (blegh). --Sid 20:02, 29 July 2007 (CDT)

"If this is actually a good-faith entry and not a parody, it is beyond me how any of the mouth-breathers at CP ever manage to get laid. Update: At least one person at CP has a soul - or at least hates sleeping on the couch - as this article has been proposed for deletion." I'll leave it to you to decide whether I value my soul or my bed. Aziraphale 13:54, 21 September 2007 (EDT)

Badge of Pride[edit]

Well that was fun! :-) I feel honored, actually, that I've been listed among CP's (unhinged) list of examples of liberal bias. I mean, I've been elevated to the level of Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy. Huzzah! ;-)--Patthew 16:28, 27 September 2007 (EDT)

You add a stub tag by typing in {{stub}}.--Elassint

Or, if you think a short article is fairly complete, you can type in {{nostub}}, the stub robot Trent sometimes unleashes will ignore it and not add the tag. Complicated, ain't it? humanUser talk:Human 23:19, 31 October 2007 (EDT)

Oh, so everything that is against your liberal POV is vandalism? GodBlessAmerica

It was a contentious edit with no backup on the talk page. Convince us that Liberalism is connected to terrorism, and you might get somewhere. Otherwise, it's just a smear and nobody's going to take it seriously. --Kels 19:19, 11 November 2007 (EST)

RW's luster[edit]

This page needs more GOAT

Sorry the site is loosing its luster for you, it certainly ebbs and flows for us all I think. It's pretty hard for me to follow discussion and issues that go beyond basic site maintenance and the few issues that I am interested in. Since I can't motivate myself to get involved with the supremist I have basically ignored them and so not aware of all the issues surrounding that. Anyway, just a note to say I have enjoyed your contributions and hope things get more entertaining for you in the future. tmtoulouse persecute 14:41, 19 November 2007 (EST)

Perhaps you just need some more goat? A little polishing might bring the luster back, too. Goat polishing, of course, would be perfect. humanUser talk:Human 15:09, 19 November 2007 (EST)

You might want to practice on an innocent editor to see how the screens look. Why Am I removing my contributions ?[edit]

I am not but someone else is. Perhaps from Conservapedia ? Can you stop whoever it is and restore ? Dreadnought 20:04, 31 December 2007 (EST)

Thanks. I shall try to rebuild my shattered persona and I cannot recall the Dreadnought password. CP banned me for five years ! Mind you I was taking the P155. I was particularly proud of Sir Farnaby Widdecombe, cut down in his prime as a wholly imaginary polar explorer accused of cannibalism for eating his own leg after a self amputation on the Widdecombe ice shelf, but sadly reverted in his prime.Perhaps it might be better for security if I did retain the Streona user (Eadric Streona- worst Briton of the 11th century). I do not knoe exactly what happened but my son may have mucked around and accidently reverted some of the earlier reverts, but the later rollbacks were happening in front of me. My son has also posted several entries on Wikipedia proposing to duff-up Creationists: he is only nine and a fanatical Darwinist and this is probably how they sort things out at his school.

Streona 21:45, 31 December 2007 (EST)

Also someone attempted to rollback my user page, but was blocked because they were not me, after I mentioned a rival wiki site who also banned me simultaneously as I mentioned a certain bearded politico with a passing resemblance to Santa Claus which is why I was perhaps a bit paranoid about them.

Streona 22:01, 31 December 2007 (EST)

Wouldn't I like to know. Apparently EVDebs reverted my piece on Mein Kampf- which is not especially controversial (except for Metapedia) within 2 minutes according to my log. I asked him and my post to his user page was almost immediately reverted. I don't know if this is some automated process, but it looks as though I should use my alter ego. This is being posted on a different computer than before.

Dreadnought 11:54, 2 January 2008 (EST)

This is ridiculous.I will stop using Dreadnought altogether. Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.

Playing off of the joke, I actually managed to relate the Dali Lama into the belief system of the LLamae, using him supposedly as a prophet send with instructions, and insight. :) *laugh* I think it's absolutely hilarious to intermingle the two simply because they have such similar homophonic (in English)names. :) Thanks so much for planting the seed of the Lama, the Holy Prophet of the Goat, Goat be praised. :) --Eira yay! 17:39, 8 January 2008 (EST)

I think Rational Thinker makes a good point.--Bobbing up 11:08, 22 January 2008 (EST)
Did PFoster paste it into the talk page? Usually a process like this looks ugly for a minute or two, since the "cut" precedes the "paste", by default. And I think it did need some discussion, blanket hatred of "religion" or "religionists" of any kind is also not rational. humanUser talk:Human 11:12, 22 January 2008 (EST)
What's this to do with hatred. Religion is non-rational by definition. IT's just rational to state this fact. As long as there is religion, society cannot be fully rational. Hard fact. What's wrong with that?--Rational Thinker 11:24, 22 January 2008 (EST)
I deduced "hatred" from words like "nefarious". humanUser talk:Human 11:28, 22 January 2008 (EST)

I've just gottend one reading all kinds of disgusting shit by moderate conservatives claiming Nazis are liberal or that they are simply fascist rather than conservative. these are pieces of shit with there head up there bad they need to be castrated and die. NAZIS ARE REALLY CONSERVATIVE-SO IS KKK AND NEONAZIS AND ALL OTHER RACISTS AND FASCISTS. Holcoaust deneirs are extreme non-liberal right wing conservatives too. AGREE NOW. Dramulz 22:14, 27 January 2008 (EST)

Why are you denying the truth?[edit]

Why are you denying the truth that Nazis KKK and white supremacists are conservative? You're as bad as Conservapedia. Lulzno 23:10, 27 January 2008 (EST)

Because "conservative" as the word is used in contemporary Western political discourse for the most part, does not automatically mean "racist." Some conservatives are racist - many are not. Many liberals are not racist - and some are. Racism is a pervasive and pernicious set of beliefs that is not limited to one end of the political spectrum. It's easy to point to the Republicans and say "they're racist" - but it's not necessarily the case and it obviates the fact racism is everywhere in society. The KKK and the Nazis are not conservative in the way that most conservatives would define as so. PFoster 23:16, 27 January 2008 (EST)
They may be extreme conservatives but they are consevratives still and no sane person can deny this. Lulzno 23:47, 27 January 2008 (EST)
