Terence Casey Brennan: met him?[edit]
Have you ever met T. Casey Brennan? As I live and breathe, he is a doppelganger of L. Ron Hubbard. He and I used to get baked and he would kick my ass all over the chess board when we lived in a housing co-op on Washtenaw Ave. Still a babe magnet after all these years, it seems. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 02:56, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- I have not. But I'll keep my eyes open, as getting baked and getting my ass kicked at chess would definitely qualify as fun. UPDATE: Wait, I'm pretty sure I've seen him bumping around. Maybe @ the Ark? Anyway, just a glance at the article tells me I should search him out--I'm a huge comics guy, too. TheoryOfPractice (talk)
- Not much into comics, me, but some of his stuff that I saw was worth a second look. That was then, and even at that time, one needed some tolerance of teh krazy to get along with im. He looked better in those days, and was often to be found on the carpet in a pile of people, all but him sporting bewbs. With application, he could have founded a bigger cult than he did. Toast is partly right. I was talking about Nutty Roux being allowed to have a sock called Conservapederast. If Conservapederast is allowed, then HatesNiggersAndFaggots should be as well. But if everybody is SO against this name, then I can just make a new account called RapesChildren, since that sort of thing is apparently more ok than racism and homophobia - I promise, I'm a sock of a long-time user here! Just un-vandalbin me so I can make the account, ok? After all, I haven't committed any actual vandalism, or even gotten the chance to - I was judged on my name. Yes, NR is CP, but it hardly matters if you didn't know that, since if you didn't, you couldn't have given privileges to CP that you would only have given if you'd known it was NR. So I retract that, but the question remains: If Conservapederast is ok, why is HatesNiggersAndFaggots not? Or why can I not have my name changed to RapesChildren and be unvandalbinned? PS: Hard to defend myself here when I can only edit once every half hour. SayItLoudI'mBlackAndI'mProud (talk) 02:12, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Bad--> am working as a teaching assistant for a professor I can't stand, the sun never comes out and when it does it sets by 4PM, Mrs Practice and I have to go back to the weekdays apart/weekends together routine after Monday, and there's no beer in the house. - It's been a few years since I've been there and I didn't bother looking up any facts. Needless to say, if you want to redo the entire thing, I would not take any offense. All I wrote is what I remember and given where I've been/what I've done since, it has surely been well blended. I'm interested in history, but not enough to really get all my facts straight in the first place. δij 00:48, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Remember:
Hi, This is John's brother. I know he has been using this account for a variety of reasons, none of them productive for his troublesome history of mental health problems. For obvious reasons I don't want to go into details about this but suffice to say my mother and father have decided to withdraw his access from the internet for the duration of his most recent treatment process. I apologise on my brothers behalf for any problems he may have caused this website during his period of instability. As you know, his posts have been of a bizarre quality but that is merely a reflection of his real world mental anguishes. MarcusCicero (talk) 23:09, 11 July 2009 (UTC) |

My glorious run has ended. This is not a case of 'leaving and never coming back', but more a case of 'burn out'. I created a personality on the internet so radically different from the real life version that I've forgotten even what trolls remorse feels like.. (You can thank Refugee over on RWW for providing the impetus) My highlights on RW:
One regret: Stooping to do the mental illness stunt. That was a terrible miscalculation. Adios RW! I may pop in from time to time, but at least now you'll know for sure than I'm a fully fledged troll! MarcusCicero 19:48, 5 December 2009 (UTC) |

prologue[edit]
TOP, we've had our differences from day one. The one thing that we could agree on is that this wiki isn't big enough for both of us. We could have gone through the motions and dragged this out into a public debate, but we both knew what the outcome would be: one way or another, you were going to leave this wiki. In a way, I respect you for taking the high road by circumventing that process and bowing out before things got ugly. I don't know if I would have been able to do the same, and I wouldn't have expected you to let me off easy. Looking back on our discussions and deliberations, I caught many glimpses of the rational person I know you can be. It's something that gave me hope in you, and something I would like to see fostered and cared for like the delicate flower you are inside. Where ever you end up, I hope you find a community that will continue to hold you to the coals, intellectually speaking, without you pressing them for lenience or outright clemency. One day, I think you can reclaim the trust you've lost here. Fare the well. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 22:03, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Neveruse, thank you for your kind words. More importantly, thank you for believing in me. Know that your belief in me fills me with hope that there is, somewhere deep inside you, something worth salvaging, something that will ultimately bring you redemption. Go forward, knowing that you carry in you the potential to bring love and hope to the world. anywhere but here, Neveruse. Anywhere but here. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 22:34, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Why am I not surprised, TOP? Why am I not surprised that you would so wantonly renege on such a hard-fought compromise? Your time here is over. The sooner you realize that, the soon you can began to pull the wool over some other unsuspecting community's eyes, because we're through with you. Don't call, don't send flowers to my work, don't even fucking think about it. Just move on. If there is anything left at the bottom of that pit inside your heart, scrape it together and try to look at this from our point of view. None of this was easy, and dragging it out is just making this harder. Are you some kind of masochist? Why do you keep coming back for more when I'm trying to let you off easy? I'm constantly amazed at the lengths you will go to destroy this community and my life personally. You know what I'm talking about and that shit was not cool. NOT COOL. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 22:40, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- When this whole sordid affair is over, when the Loya Jirga has come into effect and we have acted on the one thing that really needs to be done--you being de-sysopped, de-cratted, and 404-blocked from seeing the site, I will then do whatever else I deem necessary to ensure that you can no longer sully this community's reputation with your constant antics. And no, maybe it wasn't cool what I did, how I broke the "fourth wall" like that, but given the circumstances--and the photographic evidence that I had--it seemed as if alerting the people who have to live and work with you was the only viable course of action for me. And for them. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 22:56, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Don't unblock EL[edit]
The guy is here simply to troll. Instead of unblocking him, find out why he was blocked (as per the comment left on the block). This is why we had the LJ setup. So that people didn't decide to systematically undo what others find should have been done, thus defeating any purpose to the mission at hand. Earthland does not add to this mission and abuses his sysopship. He needs to be removed since he cannot figure out that his actions are trolling. --Irrational Atheist (talk) 20:11, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Don't tell me what to do. The role of the LJ, as far as I understand it, it decidedly not to maintain permablocks that hotheaded editors wrongly impose on somebody 'cause they're on the rag and feeling a little thin-skinned today. You wanna make a case for permabanning EL? Wait a few days until we've got the LJ sorted out and take it to them. until then chill the fuck out. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 20:15, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- If you don't want me to tell you what to do, then don't be an ass on my talk page. I banned him because this is not the first time that EL has done this shit and has been told to stop. He obviously won't. Time to be done with him. Besides, what does he add to this site? Absolutely nothing. --Irrational Atheist (talk) 20:19, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

There is something you must understand[edit]
"Pig" is not a nice word. Just in case you didn't know.
But I fully acknowledge the devastatingly painful difficulties that you had to go trough when you reverted the permanent ban that was given to me. After all, I had made a pointless comment, even if it was relatively innocent. Some would say that permanent ban isn't enough for such evil, but you know better, eh?
Don't take this effort to make any kind of answer. I don't need it. You don't need it. I'm just trolling here anyway.
--Earthland (talk) 19:04, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

But because I no longer read CP and have made updates to WIGO:CP and the talk page invisible on my recent changes, it seems as if there are fewer opportunities to get my nose into conversations...but I'll be here regular-like, during the weeks, anyways...TheoryOfPractice (talk) 03:41, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I always loved ToP. Acei9 03:43, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I understand where you are coming from on that one. I haven't given a shit about WIGO:CONservapedia for about 6 months now. The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 03:44, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Vandal Binned?[edit]
Hi, you seem to have vandal binned me (possibly automatically) for using an IP used by MarcusCicero (block ID #487), and while I understand the precaution, I am not he, nor do I know him. Rather I'm editing from my college's IP address, so that may have something to do with it? Could you please unbin me, if you would be so kind? H. Randolph Twist (talk) 01:03, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- Your user name is not vandal-binned. If a particular IP address is, it is for good cause, and you shall, for the time being, have to edit from elsewhere. Eire has great internet service, so it shan't be a problem. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 01:10, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- I can vouch that this person is not me. But then again I don't expect this gentleman to prevail; RWs policy of knowingly blocking 15,000 students is absurd but with the new authoritarian regime anything seems to go. Even the once unthinkable.
So, ToP, what type of wine is your favorite? White or red, chardonnay or cabernet? etc., etc., etc... The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 02:26, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm much more of a red guy--Cabernets, Merlots, Zins--anything with a big, rough flavour. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 02:36, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- Good man. I, myself, prefer cabernet sauvignons and merlots. Punky Your mental puke relief 02:38, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Well, I do find it a bit absurd, since I do live on my university's campus and thus my options for editing from other locations are somewhat limited... then again, I've never encountered this problem before yesterday. Is there no way around this particular issue? H. Randolph Twist (talk) 10:35, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind, Nx showed me how to parole myself, it's all cool. Thanks for your time at any rate. H. Randolph Twist (talk) 12:14, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

RE: APPROPRIATE ACCESS[edit]
WE HAVE OUR EYES ON YOU. WE SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING. FORTUNEATELY FOR YOU I WASN'T DIRECTING THE WARNING AT YOU, BUT I AM WRITING YOU UP IF I CAN FIGURE OUT WHO YOU ARE/WHAT FACILITY YOU'RE AT, IF SOMEONE ELSE DOESN'T FIND YOU FIRST. YOU ARE NOT ONLY ABUSING COMPANY BANDWIDTH, BUT ALSO YOU'RE ADMINISTRATIVE PRIVLEDGES HERE BY BLOCKING CORPORATE NETWORK SECURITY STAFF FOR YOUR PERSONAL BENEFIT. I AM WRITING THIS UP SO THAT THIS SITE CAN BE FIREWALLED AS WELL. -IT&S SECURITY

I am invisible on your talkpage. Now I will move things around until you think you're being haunted. -- Mei (talk) 00:05, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- Given my current emotional and mental state, it may take more than that, kid....TheoryOfPractice (talk) 00:09, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- I always think I'm being haunted. Do you want to talk about your emotional and mental state? It helps to talk. Apparently. It's never really helped me as far as I can see, but not talking has definitely not helped, and I am an expert at not talking to people so I can recommend talking in a sort of oblique way. -- Mei (talk) 00:14, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

How's this idea as a solution in lieu of having a dishonorable mention section in the shrine? Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 05:25, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- My personal feeling is that it aint something worth glorifying or remarking on. But thats just me. Acei9 05:43, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- You're most likely right. I dunno. I'll leave it in my namespace and see where it goes. Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 05:45, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- I am dry humping the spirit of the lord. What are you doing? Acei9 05:59, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sitting in amazement that we are discussing it without TheoryOfPractice having given any input yet. The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 06:02, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

I just wanted to find some way to memorialize, for better or worse, some of the folks from days gone by who made this place what it is--I'm not super-attached to the idea, though, and will gladly defer to the mob on this...TheoryOfPractice (talk) 18:26, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Don't piss me off[edit]
I've deliberately left you alone, mainly because you have emotional issues and I have a conscience. Don't think I won't starting laying in to you and all if you join in on the fascist chorus. I can circumvent your pathetic restrictions with such ease - any more of this shit and I swear to plague you into submission until you submit to one of those pathetic 'leaving and never coming back' charades you indulge in every now and then. 66.90.73.223 (talk) 16:38, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
