- I don’t see how this is missional. Whether it’s notable enough to deserve an article is also questionable, I’ve heard of the hashtag but googling it doesn’t give much. This was written by someone who was, by their own admission, “feeling a tad annoyed”, something that becomes very obvious when you read it. It’s a rant that should’ve been a post in the saloon bar, not an article. Christopher (talk) 10:18, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Seems mostly irrelevant. It would be a footnote or minor section in our other articles on the autism rights movement. Also we aren't gonna document every single hashtag people have used over the years unless there's real world consequences to it. Recommend making a minor section on it (not merging, that would probably give undue weight) in the Autism Rights articles. Techpriest (I am Alpharius! / / / ) 19:17, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Policing the use of hashtags is not missional, and perhaps anti-missional, and in any case impossible. Smerdis of Tlön, wekʷōm teḱsos. 23:36, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Not on mission. Chef Moosolini’s Ristorante ItalianoMake a Reservation 01:27, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Original author isn't here and probably wouldn't mind it being gone. It vibes with other non-missional pages here on social justice and not-much-else, but it's also not a good article Neiltyson1fan (talk) 03:32, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
Keep[edit]
- It covers crank section and exploring and documenting authoritarianism. Social justice has sort of become part of the mission, Chris. You haven't been here for a while. As for the "rant" part, a lot of our articles are like that. — Oxyaena Harass 10:31, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- People posting in a hashtag they’re not meant to aren’t cranks or authoritarians. This place has always been pro social justice, and most social justice related articles are missional due to critiquing authoritarianism/pseudoscience, but this isn’t. It’s a hashtag.
- Some articles are a bit ranty, and sometimes it works, but not here. This is a self-important PSA about something completely inconsequential.
- As much as I hate cynically using my identity like this, I should probably mention that I’m autistic myself to preemptively shut down accusations of ableism. Christopher (talk) 10:44, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Then why do we have an article on the MeToo movement, or Black Lives Matter? — Oxyaena Harass 10:58, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- MeToo: not directly related to the mission, but it’s a common target of antifeminist cranks. You could make an argument that it’s directly related to authoritarianism if you bend the definition a bit. It’s also a lot more notable and broad in scope than a hashtag (despite being one as well), we’ve got an article on Croatia that no one is complaining about.
- BLM: Similar to MeToo, except it’s directly related to authoritarianism for reasons I hope are obvious. Christopher (talk) 11:01, 6 February 2021 (UTC)

Merge/redirect[edit]
- Merge into an article on autism or autism activism. We don't seem to do articles on hashtags here - for instance, #metoo and #notallmen don't have articles - but it's information worth having on the wiki. Avida Dollarsher again 11:02, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Merge it into Autism rights movement or Autism. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 14:30, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- Per. I think the section shouldn't be substantial either. I don't follow much Twitter use, but I can see a sentence mentioning it in the autism rights movement alongside tumblr community outreach efforts and other social media. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario! 00:59, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
