Change name to Irrational Wiki[edit]
The MRA tone of this site is all too obvious. You cannot and will not be taken seriously by anyone outside the MRA/ pick up artist /gamer community. I thought you were sincerely interested in rational ideas and topics but this site is clearly based on irrational and small minded hyperbole.— Unsigned, by: Wedmount / talk / contribs

Thanks for being on top of the doxxer[edit]
Good job. ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 19:24, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- Well I got an e-mail telling me that someone had posted something on my talk page, and the edit summary made it pretty obvious that this was ye olde (or newe) doxer. Usage of standard banhammer+revdel tactics followed.--JorisEnter (talk) 19:26, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't even see the one on your talk page. ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 19:27, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
I'm sorry if I said the word "poop"[edit]
...way too many times, as I was quoting bible scripture at you. I didn't mean to overwhelm. My bad, bud. It IS kinda late, and so on. S'ok. But the stuff I quoted is in the bible. Anyways, all the best champ, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 23:13, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
- Wait, quoting the bible without mentioning the whore of Babylon or who begat whom? What do you mean arguing for the sake of argument? 00:12, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
Just saying[edit]
Dat bible verse, though. Some metaphysical implications. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 12:09, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- It does have some rather... interesting implications for the Almighty's omnipotence indeed.--JorisEnter (talk) 12:10, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- Also, sorry for force-feeding you a wall of text at like 4AM. I was just exited to share it with you, and I wanted your opinion, is all. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 12:33, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
A little late now[edit]
...but any particular reason you didn't go ninja to do the hotcat stuff? Kinda filling up the RC feed, heh. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 12:02, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oops. Should have thought of that.--JorisEnter (talk) 12:03, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

- Why did you remove the Category Nazi from that Zündel guy, though? I am not the Ombud's man 13:30, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

- Our categorization is a bit of a mess, so I'm glad Joris is doing his best to standardize it, while keeping the intent of each label. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 15:16, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

The WIGO elections button is broken[edit]
When you click on the WIGO buttons on the main page they all point to where they are supposed to point, except for "WIGO elections" which points to the page you just deleted. Which is why I posted there for it to be fixed. WIGO sourcer (talk) 17:05, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
My talk page[edit]
Per the page you directed me to, "Talk pages (including user talk as well as article talk pages) and other discussion pages, such as debates or the Saloon bar, are community property. They must not be deleted, nor protected, although they can be archived periodically." I have now archived my talk page. Please leave it alone. Prince of Glantri (talk) 19:19, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

No need to strike Mikemikev's edits[edit]
There's no need to strike Mikemikev's edits for doxing or whatever since my name is public, but by all means ban him.
Just to clarify, the original "Thorwald C. Franke" was not Mikemikev, but the real Franke. But Mikemikev created the fake accounts in his name [1], [2] and [3] - this resulted in the original account "Thorwald C. Franke" banned despite the original was not Mikemikev. Mike also impersonated me as "Oliver D Smith". A write up here- https://mikemikevwatch.wordpress.com/2016/10/18/nutcase-mikemikev-impersonating-thorwald-c-franke-and-oliver-d-smith/ HamiticRenaissance (talk) 21:10, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- Your name is "public"? What is your name, then? --Wonderworld (talk) 18:05, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
Unblock Thorwald C. Franke[edit]
Would it be possible to un-block User:Thorwald C. Franke, now that more and more users realize that he is not this "mikemikev"? Also ScepticWombat does not believe it, as she said on my talk page. - And as a general question: What chances does a user blocked by mistake have to show that he was blocked by mistake? (And do you think that Thorwald C. Franke will love this RationalWiki for its ... hm ... "blocking rationality", now, after all what happened?) --Wonderworld (talk) 18:05, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
Edit filter[edit]
You need to understand that Filter 11 uses Wikipedia's ccnorm character map -- so all if "iIlL1" become "1", for example. See here. When typing in the terms, make sure to perform these conversions -- otherwise they won't match, ever. The FCP Foundation (talk/stalk) 13:27, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
The 'banish to... (nuisance contributor) wiki button'[edit]

WTH[edit]
Hi JorisEnter,
your comment here RationalWiki:Technical_support#WTH is irresponsible because this is a high quality content. Please reconsider your position. If you have any further questions I will be happy to answer. I am still learning however. For instance, I didn't know about wpl template at the time. --OneStep (talk) 12:28, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
I am not whitewashing[edit]
What I am doing is not whitewashing. I am fixing a mistake. The Amazing Atheist has said on many occasions that he thinks MRA's are as stupid as feminists and that men and women pretty much equal. I have also been recreating the Drunken Peasants page because the page it redirects to has no information about DPP.— Unsigned, by: Gakrolin / talk / contribs 22:30, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

MGTOW Discussion conclusion[edit]
This is the conclusion I have come to after discussing MGTOW with various people on the talk page: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Men_Going_Their_Own_Way
All the statements made by me which put MGTOW in positive or neutral light are anecdotal, there's no substantial evidence.
Also, all existing statements present on MGTOW page that puts it in negative light is also anecdotal - there's no substantial evidence.
I would request you to remove protection from the page so that I can make the required changes - i.e., removing all statements for which no substantial evidence is present. Rukmaniahuja (talk) 17:17, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- This isn't rationality. This is insanity. You cannot hold on to believes that are supported only by anecdotal proof while you discredit opposing views because they only have anecdotal proof. At best, you can edit the article to say "only anecdotal proof is available in regard to this topic" and allow all anecdotal statements regardless of weather they put it in good light or bad light. Rukmaniahuja (talk) 16:09, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Hey Thanks[edit]
Thanks man, it was disheartening to have all that crap on my talk page from the get go. MyNameIsMudd (talk) 20:27, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

This is how RationalWiki ends?[edit]
I have taken a lot of time and replied to all statements raised by everyone, none of you guys have been able to prove me wrong. I accept that I made the little mistake of including anecdotal statements in favor of MGTOW but kindly note that all statements against MGTOW are also anecdotal. I demand that you remove lock from the page ASAP and tell me as to what shall we do: Shall we remove all statements with only anecdotal statements or do we make an exemption and allow all anecdotal statements on this page.
If you fail to remove the lock ASAP and rationally revolve this problem ASAP, I will raise this issue with the founders of RationalWiki. Rukmaniahuja (talk) 14:39, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
It's my first day[edit]
I tried to post on the talk page, but it looks like i am now blocked even from doing that. I am just new here. Did you report me as a troll or something? I don't know how to ask to be unblocked so I can post the edits on the talk page.
Thebestjerrythebest (talk) 13:50, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Your username doesn't appear blocked, therefore, you are using an IP address of a vandal or a banned member. Can you copy-and-paste the block message?—HamburgerPlate (talk • stalk) 20:30, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
On another subject I believe it was JorisEnter who put my cognomen into the vandal bin. I agree that it was justified as I was at the time treating the talk section of Several articles as though they were comment strings on YouTube. Yeah I was being a troll. I have tried to keep out of other people's discussions, and enjoyed my participation a lot more. Now, the fact that I can only post once every 30 minutes hasn't been a problem except when responding to replies and making corrections to my own texts. I request that Ariel31459 be paroled. Oh, and that guy Ikanread,...I don't think he can.Ariel31459 (talk) 03:28, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Ariel and Prospero[edit]

Metadata[edit]
I reuploaded the image without metadata. Here's security tips:
- Always remember to clean your metadata.
- Always remember to check for metadata.
- Don't have information entered onto forms or computers that you don't want others to see.
- There's a tool called Metadata Anonymisation Toolkit that you might want to check out.
—HamburgerPlate (talk • stalk)
- Ah, thanks for that. I didn't know my computer recorded metadata and the like, but apparently it does.--JorisEnter (talk) 18:46, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
