Nx, bro,
Did you like B5:Crusade? Gary Cole is one of my favorite actors. Have you tried any of the Babylon 5 novels? Are they any good? What does Nx mean? Anything to do with this? Dude, talk to me. I'm bored. Pls?
LQT and recent changes
Would it be possible to make it so LQT posts show up on recent changes all under a single tab for each thread? That way, if this discussion reached a million and a half posts, instead of clogging up recent changes, each post in the thread would appear under the tab Thread:User talk:Nx/LQT and recent changes. Then the tab could be opened or collapse just like with enhanced recent changes, where all edits to a same article are under the same tab.
This would effectively eliminate LQT's primary weakness. Could you, David Gerard, and tmt cook something up?
Nx no longer has server access, one. (You should ask Pi, I heard he has server access. *trollface*) Two, aren't you just asking for an enhanced-RC-friendly LQT?
Sysopship
I'm quite willing to let my sysopship go. Some people clearly don't trust me (some probably never have), so for the sake of avoiding an HCM, I'm willing to pass on it.
I would take my sysop rights away, but I can't do that.
such a fine moderator you are, bullying people off the wiki
Did we pass?
No. I edited my sig, and it doesn't show up on recent changes or the post's history, only on the page history, and even there it says comment text edited. At least I've discovered a way to get the original sig back (in the lqt style page history), but it's not obvious and I don't think you can get the wiki source.
Oh, well... I'm not bothered. While I'm still getting a pulsing circle while typing this, the whole LQT experience seems to be proceeding at an acceptable pace, much more lively than before.
Aargh. Refreshing the page in ancient firefox on antique fedora causes the most recent thread to disappear. That's another one of the reasons I've been avoiding talk pages with LQT.
Carry on, you're far better equipped to deal with this than most of us, I suspect.
I also notice that visiting an LQT page often lights up my system monitor, indicating that some script may be hogging cycles on me local machine.
The Elliott Argument
Can you please delete that essay sir? It doesn't belong on Wikipedia and it doesn't belong anywhere. If we let him be by himself, eventually he'll go away and the world will be a better place.
You've been "owned" mate, apparently.

Don't you feel just totally humiliated and owned like a chump, Nx? You sound pretty blasé about the whole thing. lol.
Next time, let me handle him. My life hasn't had enough fear stabbed into it by the unstoppable Creationist cannons of the mighty Elliot Argument as it crushes atheists under its holy treads! Olé olé olé!
Long email
I've sent you a long email, from your RWW account. I imagine you'll be disabling the E-mail this user function there too, now.
voted with bots
Really? Were they empty votes or actual votes? I hope they were empty, because the otherwise would be messed up
It was a protest? That's weak, man. A post hoc justification is always weak. If you want to make some sort of statement, you make it before you wiki-breaking actions.
Capturebot seems broken by the maintenance
I'm not sure if it's capturebot's fault or changes Toulouse made, but it doesn't successfully manage to get images up to the wiki. I poked it a bunch to try and work out what was going on, in case this helps. It will happily listen for its console, however, so I know it's online.
The pywikipediabot script probably needs to be updated. The config needs to be changed (you have to explicitly specify the version of MediaWiki of the wiki the bot is running on, which is stupid because it can detect the correct version and it complains if it's not the same in the config, but whatever).
If your willing to offer some advise
With addMessages removed what should I look at for a replacement for the custom names?
Create an i18n file just like you would for an extension, and then use Manual:$wgExtensionMessagesFiles - I think that should work, as far as I can tell, the array key is not used at all, so it can be anything you want as long as it doesn't conflict with others.
Did you get my last message?
If you had voted as one person, would it have changed the results of the election?
Did how your socks vote change the course of the election compared to if you had cast one ballot?
Mr. the wiki-wiz
I have a question regarding the wikimedia commons bug. Would it be possible to have a bot regularly purge all commons files used on this wiki? Would it be effective? Thanks for any insight
Mod nom
Why? Frankly, I don't understand why you still bother with this shithole. Let the drunken potheads have their fun, there are more worthwhile things to do.
For someone who has ceased to bother with the s***hole, you certainly make a lot of anonymous posts on the s***hole's talk-pages.
ListenerX, you don't like cursing? Is that an asatru thing or a personal preference?
Or... Are you being IRONIC? Like a hipster?
In my religion, a curse is what you put on someone when you want them to die. Scatological swear words are a different animal entirely: they just have to be used less than three times in each sentence, as is the fashion these days, if you want them to retain any of their shock value.
Nx if you don't accept the nomination I'll do it for you. Illegitimi non carborundum, man!
