Autopatrolled[edit]
Because of your edits to and time on the wiki, Autopatrolled has been added to your user rights. This lets you bypass most of the abuse filters, bypass the CAPTCHA, and edit more frequently. If you have questions, bleat ask away.
We hope you enjoy your newfound POWER — and these external tools:
- Google Scholar Button (Chrome, Firefox) searches your highlighted text in Google Scholar. Easily check academic citations!
- web.archive.org and archive.today, among other tools, can save permanent copies of webpages. Never lose a crank website or racist Tweet ever again! Christopher (talk) 17:16, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
A Sysop is you.[edit]
Don't fuck it up. --MtDBogan 20:02, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
Sysop[edit]
Because of your edits to and time on the wiki, wizard Sysop has been added to your user rights. Feel free to let your newfound POWER course through your veins. Once the high wears off, see RationalWiki:Sysop guide for more information. If you have questions, bleat ask away. Matty forgot to do this. Christopher (talk) 20:03, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- Turns out he didn't forget. Christopher (talk) 20:04, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
Demotions[edit]
Thanks Gents. I hope I neither make a fool of myself nor disappear back into lurkdom. Daev (talk) 20:09, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- Do you not know how to unblock yourself? Here's a link. Christopher (talk) 20:28, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- I unblocked you. Christopher (talk) 21:01, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- This is going very well. --MtDBogan 21:03, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- Ah, Thanks for the welcome block. (I'd been offsite while it was in place). Daev (talk) 21:06, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- I blocked you again, maybe this time you can unblock yourself. (It's to check you know how to). Christopher (talk) 21:09, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

Regarding Christopher[edit]
He's a bit along the spectrum, but he means well. I'm not saying crayon eater, but window licker is a possibility. Use your buttons wisely. It'll all work out. --MtDBogan 21:31, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- Nuts, thought for a moment I'd get to post a pls sign. Oh, well (someday). Daev (talk) 21:35, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
Saying "just" too much? That's a paddlin[edit]
(Proof here). Reverend Black Percy (talk) 02:49, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
Pro tip[edit]
If you edit an individual section of a page (click the little [edit] button at the side) it's less laggy and easier for other people to see what you said. Christopher (talk) 17:01, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
Why[edit]
Did you insert a bunch of random gibberish from FAMAS into your userpage? Unrelatedly, thanks about the Germaine Greer thing. Christopher (talk) 19:37, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- I was going quote the comparison of the stub contents to his message telling others not to delete his stub in the undo message. I figured that adding the message text it as a minor edit to my user page would give me the count without being visible to most user's (that phrasing makes me feel kind of dirty, considering) recent changes. It got undone during that time though.
- And happy to help. Daev (talk) 20:30, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
Just to let you know[edit]
Just to let you know, I responded to your question. 162.197.60.142 (talk) 11:21, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Gene McCarthy
Revert[edit]
Why did you revert me on racialism? Dave MacIntosh (talk) 13:48, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- You replaced
- "In contrast, the variation in certain traits (eg, skin color) are precisely what race is based upon, and so variation within one "race" being greater than between races makes it functionally meaningless."
- with
- "Similarly variation in racial traits is what the race concept is about. Like sex, race captures only a subset of the variation. It is informative for that variation."
- Your edit not only attempts significantly change the meaning, if is also grammatically ill-formed.Daev (talk) 14:00, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- Decidedly not a sock of User:Fareeha_A 14:04, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Daev Never mind me, friend. Part of my duties involve recording the fact of your apparent law-abidance ("...if is also grammatically ill-formed."). I'll see myself out. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 14:09, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- First time I've used that template twice in a row haha. Koi "dammit Koi stop making such long sigs!" development 14:11, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- What I changed made no sense. It pointed out that there is more variation within sexes than between them and that sex classification is based on a limited subset of variation, then wrote "in contrast" race classification is based on a limited subset of variation. Well that's not in contrast, that's the same situation. What is wrong with the grammar? Dave MacIntosh (talk) 14:36, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
