Yes - time is served. But this wasn't a case of harassment against Rob. He made the bet and he is a big boy. Acei9 20:21, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- I could say lot about how any moderator who ever gave lip service to wanting order and contributed to our interminable and inarguably counter-productive policy discussions is guilty of the most rank hypocrisy. Nobody cares anymore. 20:40, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

You even blocked him 43 minutes after I unblocked him. ToP blocked him 5 minutes after he unblocked himself to fucking vote. This is a pointless discussion. 21:06, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah it is fucking pointless. Because there is nothing wrong here, Nutty. He did vote, I made sure he voted and blocked him after. If he has a problem let him state it. He is a big boy and you ain't his Dad. Acei9 21:09, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

- You're right and I'm wrong. It was obviously your business that nobody else was allowed to take a position on. I should have ignored him emailing me several times asking to be unblocked. 21:21, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Escalating[edit]
You're blocking somebody for longer than can be considered a joke, and you're removing comments—neither things that you are supposed to do. Supposedly, as a mod, I am supposed to "monitor conflicts and to use their tools to keep discussions from veering off in directions that are harmful to the community and the site." Supposedly, people are supposed to listen, and supposedly what I do to accomplish that "should not be undone by anyone else." I realise that's a false hope; I realise you don't give a shit about the mods. But in the vain hope of avoiding the a repeat of the mud-slinging fest that was the coop-case of whenever-it-was-last-year that had you slapped on the wrist for doing similar things, do you mind quitting? Given that Brx can unblock himself—and that you are not going to be allowed to prevent this, however repulsive he may be—your one-man TK protocol is just counter-productive, making him more annoying for the rest of us. Peter mqzp 08:01, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- No. Your option as a child moderator is to remove my rights. 08:18, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- And just FYI at some point I WILL be allowed to prevent this and you as a moderator trying to puff your chest up to defend him will find yourself ignored. There is a truly worthwhile place for moderators that has for the large part been ignored. What you're doing, sure moderate all you want, but it's not even sticking a finger in the dyke of the outrage that comes pouring out at someone who has no business being here. It's counterproductive. Fairness is for unpopular people who speak honestly and earnestly, as much as it's disagreeable to the prevailing groupthink, and therefore deserve unfair treatment. As I've said prudence matters. It's not an excuse for overlooking things your conscience demands you pay attention to. Brx deserves what he gets. He's a racist slimebag who's here for attention and to stir shit when it pleases him. Basically, get over yourself.

Page move continuation[edit]
I'm curious as to why you continued the "move anythign Proxie touches to Proxie's userspace" thing past the point where a brief glance at RC would have told you it has had an effect quite unlike anything I can charitably believe you intended. Hydrogen and Time (talk) 17:32, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

I'm not the least bit curious why you think a relatively small number of mouse clicks and keystrokes is "quite unlike anything [you] can charitably believe [I] intended," when, given that you had absolutely nothing to do with these onerous remediation efforts you feel entitled to whine absout something nobody else seems to give a shit about, or why you've got anything to say about it at all when your description of the situation reflects that you've missed the entire point of my point-making exercise. 20:39, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Mikemikev[edit]
Let's be clear, here, Nutty, who exactly you are dealing with, because it's obvious you are still at the "perhaps this is some reasonable but duped guy." No. You've got yourself a serious quack scientific racists.
Mikemikev is Michael Coombs, a itinerant English teacher of no repute. Currently in South Korea, he espouses a decidedly racist ideology across the internet. On rationalwiki, he's Special:Contributions/110.11.234.96, and Special:Contributions/112.160.35.80. On racist "the phora" he's [3]. On stormfront, he's mikemikev (I can't open stormfront at work). On Wikipedia, he's wp:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mikemikev/Archive, including the lovely [4]. This is a real nazi you are defending here.
Also, not able to confirm, but there's at least an inkling about [5]. Hipocrite (talk) 15:55, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have no doubt he's a bigot and has a hateful motive for adding the quote. My point is only that the issue isn't so easy - that's why racists can get away with actually quoting Dawkins, albeit without context, to justify their bigotry. It's the same with denialists and creationists. There's always some kernel of truth or something that demands an explanation in what they say. 16:06, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
- I never used to be like this. It was trying to edit Wikipedia science articles with people like Hipocrite that filled me full of rage. Mikemikev (talk) 08:20, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

Why did you take sourced material out of the article? Proxima Centauri (talk) 14:48, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- Because you're editing in bad faith and openly ignoring repeated calls to stop carrying out your vendetta. Your focus on scandal and speculation to the exclusion of simply giving helpful information that someone who isn't carrying out a bizarre personal vendetta might find interesting is embarrassing. Nobody is coming here for your personal opinion. 15:35, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- And at this point, I'm basically going to continue rolling back anything that's remotely questionable, whether it's poorly written, overly focused on carrying out your grudge, or poorly cited (blogs, editorials, opinion pieces, etc.). You'll need to engage the discussion people have been trying to have before I'm going to treat you with any editorial respect. 15:37, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think is good policy Roux. The edits you reverted were of an official link to Catholic doctrine and the work of an author who is recognized in the field of evolution and the law. Perhaps edits should still be looked at on a case by case basis. Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 15:39, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- You're right, this needs a case by case basis. Several months ago I mistook Free Comment Guardian for Guardian and since then I've been more careful. Today I mistook a Huffington Post blog for Huffington Post and I'll have to be careful about that too. Nobody can be an expert on every newspaper throughout the English speaking world I know my work sometimes needs to be reviewed. Proxima Centauri (talk) 15:48, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- I think I originally added that material, but if another editor makes a good faith case for removing it, that's fine with me. I don't edit war good faith editors. The point of this is to collaborate, accept others' good editorial judgment, and make reasonable compromises. Not looking at PC's edits on a case by case basis anymore. It takes too much time and I'm sick of having to parse them through the lens of her vendetta. 15:43, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Screw you PC - you edit tendentiously and have the chutzpah to complain about being rolled back when you misrepresent what your sources say. This article doesn't say jack shit about the Pope expressing a single encouraging word about LCWR. I'm not reading the rest of the shit you wrote. It's not worth my time. It's not worth any of our time when this happens so often in conjunction with you carrying this grudge. You're driving people nuts having to supervise your editing so closely.
