What do you mean by if you want Elassint?[edit]

I am only tying to expose the truth! And what is with the notices on my user talk page that random people are now watching me? If there is some rule in your policy that is aganst editing other peoples userpage then i aplogize, but as stated before I am only tying to expose the truth! Cgvb98xcbv8 22:37, 30 October 2007 (EDT)

I haven't a clue what truth you're on about but: we are always watching - everything- not just you. An editor's User page is sacrosanct unless they are totally beyond the pale. SusanYou don't have to talk, but ... 22:43, 30 October 2007 (EDT)

No one hacked, as one of their own members has admitted to letting someone see it. You are sort of misinformed, and hating on me, where there is no hate warranted. It's your own people here who have being lying to you, Susan. If you are ever of a fair enough mind to hear both sides, IM me from your phone, I assume it will do that. Matt.101a on Yahoo. Edit conflict[edit]

Now there's a thing, I just had an edit conflict with myself - I hit save twice, the second time must have been after the four tildes had been substed but before the save had been sent. The diffs showed as 4 tildes against the full sig - weird. Susan... purrrrrr ...

I've done that, too. Sometimes the software runs slow or jams, and when I hit save the second time, EC. Sometimes I have hit "back" to fix a typo or summat, I get EC'd about 50% of the time doing that. humanUser talk:Human 14:01, 13 November 2007 (EST)

help nav template[edit]

Do you think we should alphabetize the entries in the box? Except perhaps for the main help link being first? humanUser talk:Human 14:39, 14 November 2007 (EST)

I'm working on automating it to include all contents of category help. But - yes. Susan... purrrrrr ... 14:45, 14 November 2007 (EST)
Ah, ok, that will do it. No need to do it manually in the mean time then. Are you going to be able to make it so the files are listed by "short" names like the template does right now? humanUser talk:Human 15:34, 14 November 2007 (EST)
Uh -- ah -- yeah -- I -- ah -- that is -- eventually -- don't hold yer bref though. Susan... purrrrrr ... 15:43, 14 November 2007 (EST)
Wow, that's coming out nicely. Is there any way to make the keyword template "hide" itself? humanUser talk:Human 14:08, 15 November 2007 (EST)

I'm still working on it - look @ various blogs - etc. They often have keywords @ the page bottom - gimme another couple of hours. Don't forget it takes me 5 minutes to make 1 edit & view the result. Susan... purrrrrr ... 14:14, 15 November 2007 (EST)

Bless you my child, for thou hast laboured mightily. Have a gold star. '*Jesus*' 14:38, 15 November 2007 (EST)

(Who's that tosser?)

It can be amended to put all: (for instance) "evolution" related or "Conservapedia AND Evolution" (I think) or" Bible AND Evolution". Just have to put an appropriate keyword (requiring an extra entry on keyword template) on each page & select for it in the dpl. Quite a lot of work to initialise but easy to maintain once started.

The list could be alphabetised but it would make the category order the same & possibly non-intuitive. Susan... purrrrrr ... 16:11, 15 November 2007 (EST)

Right now it's alpha by the underlying filenames, right? One reason for alpha, is to use intuitive keywords, so they can be scanned for. And as far as keywords, can you add a conditional so if there is no keyword, the article title is used? In a lot of cats, the title is just fine. Or at least, an instruction at the template telling how to list articles by pagename and not keyword? Lookin' good though! humanUser talk:Human 18:48, 15 November 2007 (EST)

Could someone import a nice graphic question mark for me please. eg wp:Image:White_square_with_question_mark.png or wp:Image:Question_mark_refdesk.png or (preferably)something prettier/funkier.Susan... purrrrrr ... 16:35, 15 November 2007 (EST)

Done. tmtoulouse heckle 16:39, 15 November 2007 (EST)

evonav[edit]

I fixed that wrap problem after finding it by removing spaces from a couple of keywords. The spaces on each side of the links were not copied over properly from helpnav. humanUser talk:Human 16:34, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Naughty me - I didn't copy it - I rewrote it on my desktop & transferred it on SD card - can you find a suitable Image to put in header section? Susan... miaow ... 16:39, 17 November 2007 (EST)
How about the monkeys walking into men thingie, split on the left and right of the header? Or a group picture of CP sysops scratching their heads? I'll see what I can find on teh innertubes... humanUser talk:Human 16:50, 17 November 2007 (EST)
I like this: http://cyberpingui.free.fr/humour/evolution-white.jpg and it would split well. I'll have to see if it's copyright though. humanUser talk:Human 16:53, 17 November 2007 (EST)

(ec) Yeah, looked all over wp - couldn't find it - I've got a lovely version on my desktop machine - it's a long story. As far as I can tell you can only put 1 (one) piccy in if using navigationbox template(as we are). Susan... miaow ... 16:57, 17 November 2007 (EST)

How about stuffing normal wiki image tage on each side of the title, in the same line of code? I'll try it... humanUser talk:Human 17:44, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Oh, and look how WP uses "collapse/expand" things in their larger boxes - I would love to see that here, with the default on "collapsed" - keeps the page space uncluttered unless someone wants to see it. humanUser talk:Human 17:47, 17 November 2007 (EST)

(ec)I'm a tad ahead of you there but it's tricky. Susan... miaow ... 17:52, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Yup, you can put images in line w/title. Check what I did to it, then revert. humanUser talk:Human 17:49, 17 November 2007 (EST)
Take it that it looks ok on a full screen - 'orrid on mine but it works - now find the piccies! Susan... miaow ... 18:00, 17 November 2007 (EST)
Cool, I'll search for the best. By the way, do we really want to put stubs in the template? humanUser talk:Human 18:14, 17 November 2007 (EST)
To encourage de-stubbing? Susan... miaow ... 18:20, 17 November 2007 (EST)
I guess. If we had that hide/show thing I wouldn't mind so much. One of those stubs wasn't much to build on, dunno about the other. Check out the image(s) I put on there. humanUser talk:Human 18:27, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Mmmmmmm - loverly! Is it a self portrait? I'm working on the collapse thing - but it might take a couple of days on account of I've suddenly got a life & I'll be out tomorrow. Susan... miaow ... 18:37, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Thanks! yes, that's me during the 1st 3 hours of the day on the left, and the last 3 on the right. Glad you like it. I can't wait to work something up for the math template I see you working on. I don't mind waiting for show/hide, I just want it ;) A life?! You go, girl, get out and have some "real" funz! We'll still be here when you get back... humanUser talk:Human 18:48, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Collapsing[edit]

Sheisse! The collapse function is JavaScript - it don't work on mine - I can probably code it but won't be able to see it. Bugger! Susan... miaow ... 19:12, 17 November 2007 (EST)

Bummer, makes it hard to test, eh? So you can't collapse TOC's either? humanUser talk:Human 19:29, 17 November 2007 (EST)
(Nope - searching for update on Pocket Windows. Who knows? Susan... miaow ... 19:35, 17 November 2007 (EST))
Nar! Requires about 4 complex templates importing & in depth knowledge of template construction - too much agro for now but I'll persevere. Susan... miaow ... 15:13, 18 November 2007 (EST)

Hmmm, maybe if you tell me what/where they are I could save you a few edit steps by bringing them over? humanUser talk:Human 18:12, 18 November 2007 (EST)

I've got 'em - it's just that they're very complex - I don't like to use things I don't understand - but I'm still working on it. Susan... miaow ... 18:26, 18 November 2007 (EST)
The Navbox template's been growing/improving for years on WP, there's at least 44 templates used in all - I've got the main 4 but the rest - eff! I might start importing from the most basic on up - they do keen things like pretty headers & stuff. Susan... miaow ... 19:50, 18 November 2007 (EST)

You'd have to copy about 100 templates - they seem to breed on wp. Every page wants at least 1 more & some refer to templates that refer to the template you're referring from (recursion gone mad). I'll persevere but we might have to stick with what we've got. (some have weird css things going on too.) (copy wp:category:Template? Ha!)Susan... miaow ... 19:40, 19 November 2007 (EST)

Yeah, I've seen that - there was one I liked (the collapsing box, I bet), that referenced about six other templates, some of which weren't documented - and some of which couldn't be found! (they would redirect in some strange way to a kind of quasi template tutorial) I understand subroutines are good programming, but they do tend to make things rather opaque. Yah, copy the whole namespace and we'll be golden... humanUser talk:Human 21:55, 19 November 2007 (EST)

And I've been trying to plough through the help:template & help:advanced template - don't recommend it - they could use a training manual writer. The help pages are generally crap. Susan... miaow ... 22:45, 19 November 2007 (EST)

I agree. Ours are much better ;) (seriously) humanUser talk:Human 23:18, 19 November 2007 (EST)

Hi[edit]

Hi Susan. I gathered from your links that you are a south west-based individual. I lived in Salisbury for a few years after I left the Army, and now live a few miles (12?) away, up north of Winchester. I saw your material about shamanism and wondered if you'd ever attended, eg Avebury, recently. I try to go whenever circumstances permit on the major festivals, just for the /coughs "druid fluid" and a chance to chat with Arthur; I'm actually working on a MS at the moment about him and the case for "once and future king/envronmentalist activism". Myself and Arthur share a few roots - ex Army, Aldershot etc - but he ended up going his route and I ended up going mine. But he is a very compelling figure, that can't be denied. Except perhaps by the mainstream media :) As above so below pubs open lets go! Fox. [— Unsigned, by: 89.241.165.169 / talk / contribs ]

Ha! - shaman thing was (I think) Thunderkatz lulz - I'm a Northerner born& bred - Sheffield originally now (@ 63 y. o.) Nottinghamshire. Afraid I'm actually a materialist to the extreme - I'm no more than an animal that happens to think. Came back from pub about an hour ago. Cheers! Susanpurrrrr ... 10:30, 1 January 2008 (EST)
Hehe, I'm just off to the pub. Tig! :) ~Fox.

TK[edit]

...but what the hell is a wazzock? And how does it relate to a wanker? And if I called my grandmother either name, how hard would she hit me?--Bayesupdate 16:22, 3 January 2008 (EST)

A Wazzock is a numpty see help:dyslexicon; a wanker is a one who abuses oneself to amuse oneself. Do not under any circumstances refer to any elderly relative, of either sex, as a wanker. Anyone may be called a wazzock. Susanclaw! ... 16:36, 3 January 2008 (EST)

transhumanism categorization[edit]

I want to know why you reverted an edit of mine changing the categorization from pseudoscience to bullshit. It clearly is not pseudoscience, but just plain bullshit.--24.62.238.203 00:48, 5 January 2008 (EST)
