I've moved JacobB to Conservapedia:Sysops/JacobB 'cause that's where it lives. SusanG  ContribsTalk 15:31, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

I tawt I taw a sysop!!![edit]

I did! I did taw a sysop! Congrats, you are now a sysop. Here is your mop and bucket. AnarchoGoon Swatting Assflys is how I earn my living 17:46, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry[edit]

Funny, but sorry, I had to revert that. You're 100% correct though, Human is one piece of sexy pie. SJ Debaser 22:44, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

You are trying too hard[edit]

That is all. - π 22:51, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, could you elaborate? If I'm appearing ott with humour or something, it's because I've been an uncyclopedia editor for about a year, I'm stuck with the style Tweety (talk) 22:56, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
no its because you cant mind your own business. Waronstupidity (talk) 22:56, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
I changed your insult because I genuinely believe that an online community must work together for the good of the whole. Tweety (talk) 23:01, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
and your right that why i changed it. I WAS PISSED yesterday and forgot to erase it.Waronstupidity (talk) 23:03, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

(EC)No you are not even funny, but that is beside the point. You throw the word n00b around like you just learnt it, but don't know what it means. (How did you survive at uncyclopedia?) Then there is you comments on WIGO CP talk, which reek of trying to fit in. Just be yourself and stop trying acting the way you think will impress press people, just be yourself. Unless this is yourself, in which case imitate a less annoying person. Tongue.gif - π 23:04, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Allow me to explain. The use of the word n00b etc, is me parodying internet culture at uncyclopedia, something which I have had great success with over there. If you don't like or get my humour then fine, but please don't accuse me of trying to fit in. I've been a long term reader of this site and decided to bring across my persona from uncyclopedia. I have shown the 'real me', when attempting to remove abuse etc. It's a shame if you don't like how I roll, but that's life. You n00b. :p Tweety (talk) 23:13, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Cool, whatever. Stay with in the guidelines and you are alright with me, i.e, don't edit others users' userpages. - π 23:27, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Why did you erase 19,000 characters of WIGO-world?[edit]

...when erasing none is the only smart thing to do? You don't like a WIGO, vote it down. Erasing all of them is a little petulant. P-Foster (talk) 16:26, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

TK[edit]

Don't unblock TK. yummy Toast&  honey(or marmalade) 19:13, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Word. P-Foster (talk) 19:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

w[edit]

I've demoted you to normal. Unblocking TK on a whim is just a bit too disruptive for my liking, considering he was blocked after days of consensus-forming.

This isn't a big deal. If you're not remade a sysop in the next 24 hours I will be very surprised. Mei (talk) 20:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, since nobody can make a friggin' decision around this place without it getting undone 10 minutes later. --Kels (talk) 20:22, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
We need a name for that. How about 'undoism'? For example: 'This fiasco with TK has been plagued by undoism from the start'. Mei (talk) 20:26, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Maybe unblocking him for a lol was too far, but it's far more amusing to watch his self destruction Tweety (talk) 20:30, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I agree, but I find it fine to watch him destroy himself on CP. Here he seems to upset people. Mei (talk) 20:31, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Strongly agree with Mei and Kels. It was way too disruptive having TK here and all the controversy and dissent he caused. I don't think that anyone should unblock him without prior discussion and consensus. Refugeetalk page 20:32, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I agree with all the agreement around here. That is all. SJ Debaser 20:33, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Unblocking TK was fucking stupid. Demoting this clown again will be stupid also. yummy Toast&  honey(or marmalade) 20:34, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I did propose a formal solution to this here.--BobSpring is sprung! 20:37, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Bob is always so reasonable. :-) Refugeetalk page 20:39, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
EC) Yeah, but as a LJ member I can't call on the LJ. yummy Toast&  honey(or marmalade) 20:40, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Neither can I. Acei9 20:41, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
The LJ isn't necessary for something as minute as this, it was just a relatively new editor being a bit silly. Let's just leave the rabscallion as a normal editor for a couple a week or so instead of making a mountain out of a molehill, shall we? SJ Debaser 20:44, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

pretty smart for a fuckin' N00B, Josh. P-Foster (talk) 20:46, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

I feel my social standing with the wiki has risen by 2% in the last quarter. So far, that puts me at 2%. SJ Debaser 20:52, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I never thought Superjosh was a n00b. He is serious in all the right places. Mei (talk) 20:54, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I think the solution here is to stop encouraging people to pull stunts like that in general. It's gotten tiresome, especially given the size of the wiki now. It's just a matter of communicating that dudes, that shit ain't cool no mo'. It's more a matter of what the culture is cool with than anything to do with rules and formal bodies. (also, Josh is smart because he's super, isn't that obvious?) --Kels (talk) 20:48, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Think PF meant Tweety was pretty smert. I'd been wondering myself: sleeper? Night all. yummy Toast&  honey(or marmalade) 20:53, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I like Kels. I wish Kels had a newsletter. Mei (talk) 20:54, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I have a blog I've been ignoring lately, does that count? Gimme until the end of the month, I'll start posting new stuff. --Kels (talk) 21:03, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
No, it would be something like you saying 'Hello, I am still Kels', and we would all go 'It's Kels! I like Kels!'. Mei (talk) 21:06, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
That pretty much sums up my blog, really. Except with pictures. --Kels (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Seems it might be helpful to post something on TK's user page saying that this user is blocked for 2 years for making legal threats and should not be unilaterally unblocked for any reason. That might discourage these actions which otherwise might seem more innocuous. DickTurpis (talk) 21:05, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Go for it. Mei (talk) 21:06, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
You want me to make a template? I should warn you that my computer literacy is slightly better than that of my mother. I guess I can steal another and just change the text (my usual MO for such things). I'll get on it. DickTurpis (talk) 21:11, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Maybe toss something in about not posting on his talk page since he's not able to respond. Some people find that hard to resist, but I'm hesitant about locking it. --Kels (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Done. (Hazard a guess as to which template I pirated?) DickTurpis (talk) 21:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I've put up an editnotice for his talkpage too. -- Nx / talk 21:21, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Is there a general discussion about TK I can link to in the template that covers this issue? Might be helpful. DickTurpis (talk) 21:51, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
From the block log, you can grab [1]. It's a transcript, but anyone who checks the block log can easily find it. --Sigma 7 (talk) 22:42, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

a thought[edit]

I would be interested to see if a longer serving sysop would be demoted and the target of such antipathy. I think toast and I should bond. Excuse my ignorance, but what is a sleeper? Tweety (talk) 21:02, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

  1. Longer serving sysops are generally thought to have demonstrated responsibility, whereas you are sort of an unknown quantity at the moment.
  2. Toast being antipathetic towards you is an issue of Toast, not an issue of policy. Mei (talk) 21:04, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Understandable. But the sleeper accusation? Tweety (talk) 21:09, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

I'd ignore it. When I first got here, Kels thought I was Fall down in disguise. I am still planning my revenge. Mei (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Sleeper was a Woody Allen movie, as I recall. --Kels (talk) 21:14, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Hello Kels! I think you should look into this suitcase full of smoke for a bit. Mei (talk) 21:16, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Sysoppery again?[edit]

Perhaps, so long as you agree to leave TK alone and agree to commit no vandalism, I will consider re-sysopping you, as you appear to have learned your lesson. AnarchoGoon Swatting Assflys is how I earn my living 00:09, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Thank you for considering it Tweety (talk) 00:32, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
No probs. Give me a day, and in the meantime, continue making good edits to strengthen your case. Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 00:42, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Rob Smith[edit]

This is bordering on harassment. You have been warned before, knock it off. - π

Not like he doesn't deserve it though. CrundyTalk nerdy to me 12:39, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Not the point though, it is still harassing a user. - π 13:12, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
How is that harrassment? It's pretty much the first contact I've had with him, and it's mocking the conservative homophobia, that's all Tweety (talk) 13:56, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Just let him feel important. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 13:58, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Eh? Tweety (talk) 14:00, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Let Pi feel important. Apologize. Grovel. Thank him for not crushing you and for letting you stay on his wiki. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 14:25, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
I wish I could crush him, but he has more powers than me. - π 14:26, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Sysoppery?[edit]

Please tell me why in fact you should be trusted with sysop powerz after you hassled a user, lost your powers, got them back, and then hassled another user days later. P-Foster (talk) 14:19, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Who was the original user I 'hassled'?. I lost the rights because I unblocked TK for a laugh, which admittedly, wasn't the best of plans. And I don't see the 'hassling' of RobSmith now, I simply invited him to join the gay club, to mock conservative attitudes. I said he was secretly lusting for cock in reference to the stereotype that homophobes are closet gays. There is a study backing this up, I think it's on RW Tweety (talk) 14:58, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Aside from anything else, it's dirty pool to be poking a currently-blocked user when they can't respond. Not a lot of class, really. As well, it doesn't even make sense, since Rob doesn't really talk much about homosexuality, preferring to keep his conspiracy theories more on the political side. If you had some sense, you'd have stopped poking CP sysops once you'd gotten grief for your dumb trick with TK, but I guess some folks can't help themselves. --Kels (talk) 16:50, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

If you really need to attack a user here...[edit]

Go after this guy and do what you wish. I know they won't mind, and that way folks here don't accuse you of breaking their Wiki. Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 05:09, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Oh come on, a simple gay joke against a CP admin is hardly harrassment. And nobody has named this other user I supposedly harrassed. I think people are just afraid of the actions rob will take, hence the oversighting of my messages to him. Additionally, I didn't know he was blocked. Tweety (talk) 09:44, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
"A simple gay joke" directed at someone because of their activities @ another website -- who is currently sitting out a four-day ban and therefore unable to reply -- on the part of somebody who pretty much just got here and has not built up the kind of relationship with that user that justifies making jokes at his expense may or may not be harassment, but it's really not cool. The other user was TK. Unblocking a guy who's on a two-year block counts as teasing him/trying to provoke him/using his status here as a means by which to get a rise out of him, and that also is not cool. P-Foster (talk) 12:56, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
In Tweety's defense, I don't think he understood that TK was seriously blocked, as his block was, probably, the first serious block this wiki has ever issued. The same could be said for RobSmith also. I have placed a template on RobSmith's talkpage telling people to leave him alone. If it continues after this, then, and only then, do I think action should be taken. The Goonie Punk Can't sleep, clowns will eat me! 13:32, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
"on the part of somebody who pretty much just got here" So it would be alright if it was you or somebody you know better? Additionally, I did not know that TK's block was serious, and stretching an unblock to harrassment is a very tenous link to make. As I have stated before, I didn't know that RobSmith was blocked. And yes, I directed my joke at him because of his activities at another website, but this is RationalWiki, why not take a glance over the pages about CP admins and then come back and tell me off for making reference to those activities. It's the purpose of this site. Inviting somebody to a gay club because I know they're conservative is hardly harrassment, and I doubt he lost any sleep over it Tweetytalk) 13:57, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
This is a community with a history, like all communities, and that history deserves some respect--and since I didn't do what you did, your "what if" question is of no import. All I'm saying is that in, what, a month of being an active member of this community, you've managed to rub two of our three current points of tension, MC being the third. Try to be a little more aware of what's going on with the people you're poking with a stick. P-Foster (talk) 14:41, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Oh wait! I get it![edit]

You're gay! Acei9 09:53, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Don't tell me you've seriously only just realised that lol Tweety (talk) 10:07, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I suppose you can't sense my tone via text. Acei9 10:09, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes I'm gay, a raving poofter, a rampant gayboy and a raging assbandit. Tweety (talk) 21:45, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
OK, but could you make your position clear? Thanks.--Bill E Goat (talk) 21:52, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

As he is not established as a Reliable Source, I don't think we should simply take Tweety's word for it. Perhaps a vote would be in order, or should we do a bit of HCM first, as an appetizer? --Kels (talk) 21:58, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
