Instead of using your current formatting on your userpage, which leaves long and unwieldy URLs lying around, might I suggest the following: I also believe TK to be utterly evil, as he advocates incorrectly prepared broccoli. Broccoli should be steamed and it is treason to suggest otherwise.

Want a job?[edit]
Want a job on my 'free Marcus Cicero' campaign staff?
- Yes! Broccoli (talk) 19:11, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- What role would you like? Despite my extensive recruitment, nobody wants to fight for the underdog. 86.40.197.104 (talk) 19:15, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- We need to compile a report outlining the very specific examples of administrative abuse. This is the first requirement if we are ever to have the landmark trial Rationalwiki needs and the international trolling community demands. Neveruse is a freelance operater working on behalf of the MarcusCicero campaign but not under our payroll. You can be chief of staff if you like. Lunacy (talk) 19:23, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'll be acting chief of staff. I'm starting a recruitment drive. Broccoli (talk) 19:25, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Temporary free Marcus Cicero campaign headquarters[edit]
Pending a full trial-by-wiki, we demand that Marcus Cicero be freed from the vandal bin. Broccoli (talk) 19:41, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- My friends, the course of the campaign will not be easy. But we have one weapon that no authority has ever been able to stop. We have right. Right is a quality which is often derided by those in power; right is after all a subjective term. 'What is right'? All wise men have asked this question from time immemorial. But one thing we do know is that we are not wrong. And if we are not wrong we must at least in some way be right. And if we are in some way right then that will be enough. They will use emotion to justify their authoritarianism; and we will not let them. They will pretend to leave; we shall wish them good luck. In the name of all this is right, stand by me! Stand by me and fight for the rights of trolls! Lunacy (talk) 20:00, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- With the way the offenders are jumping ship before the trial exposes their abuses, we might just walk away with this one. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 20:02, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- The aim has to be to demonstrate the rationale behind the vandal spree. The context here is key since it was intended to be ironic in light of my recent admission of trolling - ie, the course of events was: I admit to being a troll, never abuse sysop powers, get involved in good natured block war, see that my sysop powers are going to be revoked, decide to go on one rampage of random page deletions.
- The key is to point out there was no malicious intent and hence was not vandalism. Real life comparisons of breaking shop windows do not matter; compare it more to throwing stones on a stone wall - no damage done whatsoever. All these ridiculous 'leaving and never coming back' things will affect the campaign much more however. I'll be doing well to survive the night. 86.40.197.104 (talk) 20:20, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- My argument is that the rationale precludes those actions from being vandalism altogether. Please refrain from referring to those actions as vandalism. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 20:23, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Shall we refer to it as MC's most recent mainspace edits? Broccoli (talk) 20:29, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- That would suffice. I was thinking "the edits in question". I suppose we could use a qualifier (e.g. "alleged vandalism"), but I'd like to keep the "V word" out of sight. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 20:33, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

- I just selected an active user with no real stake (as far as I know) in the general MC debate. Is Listener unsound? Broccoli (talk) 20:49, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- He is generally sound, but I am doubtful he would be able to divorce himself from his animosity towards me, should I be party to the trial. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 20:51, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I should Like to Offer my Support. Although MR Cicero Deleted the pages he Expected them to be Fixed so it doesn't count. His admitting of being a TRoll was probably made when He was Unwell and so it shouldn't Count.--Tolerance (talk) 20:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'm glad to hear of your support. I think the question of MC's status as a troll is irrelevant, as trolling is not verboten and is certainly not cause to be binned. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 20:55, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

"His admitting of being a TRoll was probably made when He was Unwell." True. He does have a history of mental illness. Ask his brother. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 21:18, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- We should put forward our judges now, because I think we have a case for immediate bail for MC, and the judge should set conditions, etc. Broccoli (talk) 21:27, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I Fully Agree that the Verdict should be MAde Public after the Evidence.--Tolerance (talk) 21:36, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- It is vital we step up recruitment and decide on a judge candidate to avoid vote splitting. Then we can take this to the Saloon Bar. Broccoli (talk) 21:58, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- We've got to make absolutely sure we're ready before doing that. These people have a raging sense of entitlement regarding their inflated user rights and will defend them at all costs. Remember that even though they feel that they are not subject to the community standards, we must continue to faithfully abide by them. Don't sink to their level. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 22:04, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

- Events have certainly taken a more extreme turn over the night. We'll come back at them in a few days when they've done their group masturbate thing. 86.40.104.161 (talk) 12:55, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
My solution[edit]
I think the best thing to do is allow the mob to vent for the next two days and only THEN move towards persuading them with rational argument. A trial is the fairest solution but we have to be realistic and accept that that is unlikely. I am in the middle of preparing a wiki legal defence but will need help on some of the finer points of wikilaw. It is also important to note that the hysterics over this latest controversy has come from the other side, not us, as TOP's swearing and histrionics exemplifies. We all know what the fairest solution is but whether we should be expecting that is another matter. The best we can do is bide our time and then present our case, perhaps in a public debate, but until then just marvel at the indecisive mob in all its glory. 86.40.104.161 (talk) 02:05, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- Fuck you. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 02:08, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- Also, we really do have to hammer them with this 'he's damaging the project' argument. What project? Since when has RW been a project? This is something we can really ridicule them with. 86.40.104.161 (talk) 02:09, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
What the fuck are you people thinking?[edit]
Before this gets anywhere, lets put it into perspective. Broccoli, I expected better of you. All you are essentially doing is allowing someone who has no interest in being productive or even offering constructive criticism to continue being a detriment to the project. I realize we want to set a precedent and be fair about blocking/binning, but we've moved past "fair" and all the way into "stupid." MC is a troll. He has said so. He does not want to help us, he only wants to hurt us and be an obnoxious dick. Unless he reforms himself and proves that he has done so, he stays binned. Furthermore, he abused his sysop powers by going on a deleting rampage. Though the damage was temporary, the incident showed that he cannot be trusted with even the slightest amount of power. Therefore, I say to you all: what the fuck are you thinking? Tetronian you're clueless 22:01, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Do it[edit]
Yeah, let him out of the vandal bin and sysop him on one single condition: This is his last chance, and if he starts pissing people off again in any shape or form then he should be banned completely and permanently. No vandal bins, just an IP block, and all socks instantly burnt on creation. Does that sound reasonable? If he has changed his ways then we get another active contributor, if not then we get rid of him for good. Win win scenario. CrundyTalk nerdy to me 17:41, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
