Hello[edit]
Who's Mona? I hear a lot about the user here and there but have no idea what the deal is/was. Not looking for a novel, I'm just vaguely curious. B) talk 04:35, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
- I'm pretty new here, but what I've been able to tell is that she and two other users, Arisboch and Avenger of the BoN, got in an argument over Israel/Palestine that continued for months. Arisboch was banned because I think he doxxed Mona, Avenger and Mona were binned because of their edit warring, then Mona kind of went...off. She started some kind of Twitter war with the wiki, only recently returning to work on her Targeted Individual article. That's all I know about it. If you want more details, look at the Chicken coops from January to September, or Avenger's, Arisboch's, PBFreespace's, and Mona's user pages. Or ask FCP/Weaseloid/RBP/Ombud's Man. Hope this helps. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:07, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
- But, probably more relevant to your inquiry, she was a Bernie Sanders supporter who loathed Hillary Clinton. I was on the side that Clinton could be trusted, but I came around to Owlman and Mona's view when Trump won. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:24, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! Kind of an odd and lazy question, really. Sorry about that. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I read some of the threads. Were you just lurking as a BON and munching popcorn while the shit splattered? I'd have liked to ask Lauro (despite a few pointed words between us recently) but I waited too long... s/he seemed like the most directly involved of those 4 you suggested asking, but got banned shortly before you made an account here. B) talk 06:22, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
- Oh yeah. I had a lot of fun reading through the I/P debacle. Wait, Lauro's banned? Damn. RoninMacbeth (talk) 06:27, 10 November 2016 (UTC)

Oh, my sweet summer's child[edit]
Just thought you ought to be made aware that today, FAMAS decided to use the very sysop tools you had previously endowed him with to try and disbarr me from my elected office (in the aftermath of having been reprimanded for repeatedly edit warring against Christopher).
In IT security generally, this mode of illicit control is known as 'priviliege de-escalation'. The basic principle goes something like this: while you may not be able to crown yourself king, stripping the current monarch of his office (effectively vacating the throne) may do well on its own. (In this case: stopping others from stopping him would've sufficiently enabled continued shitposting on FAMAS' part.)
Colloquially, priviliege de-escalation is a bit like a freshly backseat-confined drunken arrestée deciding to lock the arresting officer out of his own squad car (if only momentarily).
Assuming the arrestée is able to contort himself to the pedals and actually drive away in said police cruiser (read: actually holds sufficient priviliege to de-escalate his target), the abuse potential is vast (though, short-lived). I need not tell you that even attempting any of this is super-duper illegal and does not happen by accident.
As such, in the case of FAMAS, he misunderestimated the relative position of sysop alone in RW's metaphorical priviliege hierarchy. While sysop lets you do much, including desysopping others (read: de-escalating their priviliege) — which FAMAS successfully did to me — I also happen to belong to other domains of right.
While I did fully lose sysop at his hands (momentarily), my other credentials nullified this loss (and thus FAMAS' advance). In the arrest analogy: regardless of the arrestée fiddling with the locks from the inside, the outside police officer luckily had spare keys on hand.
I need not point out that it matters little who unlocks the car door again. All that matters is who perpetrated the locking, no matter how briefly. The attempt is the crime.
Now, you're not at fault for FAMAS' misuse of his bargained sysop tools, of course. You tried to reel him in, and besides — you did what I always try to do, by giving him a second chance.
But self-destruction is quite hard to reason others out of. As such, all the advice I could give you now regarding future interactions with this particular user (i.e. with FAMAS; pun intended) is — don't save him; he don't wanna be saved. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 10:27, 17 July 2017 (UTC)

I added a new section to the school segregation draft. I think you'll find it interesting. Let me know what you think! -DιαμοπdDιςc1(talk) 04:33, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- It's interesting, and not surprising in the slightest. So what's the majority race of the students at Bancroft? RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:20, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- 50.5 % white. Huh. The "best" part is that Bancroft is more diverse than the average Walnut Creek school. Apparently, that's a bar the Walnut Creek district seems intent on lowering even farther. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:23, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Bancroft is actually the most diverse school in the entire proposed district, however the middle and high school are 60% and 63% white respectively. Bancroft is located close to the border with Walnut Creek's poorer neighbor Concord, explaining why Oak Grove and Ygnacio Valley are way poorer (they're in Concord)-DιαμοπdDιςc1(talk) 05:39, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Figured. Unsurprisingly, people are defending segregation. You could add the video to this article. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:46, 30 July 2017 (UTC)

Are you on Steam at all? If you are, lets be friends my profile name is S.H. DeLong. S.H. DeLong (talk) 00:06, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- @S.H. DeLong Sadly, I am not. I only have Chromebook, and my last computer capable of running games crashed three years ago. If I ever get one, I'll try and get Steam so we can hang out. Combating the forces of wandalism[edit]
Today was my first experience fighting against wandalism... are they always that persistent/prevalent? —Kazitor, pending 05:17, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- Depends on the wandal. Sometimes a single block is enough, sometimes they go on for hours or even days (like Grawp), but most of them will get bored after burning through a couple of sockpuppet accounts/proxies. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:38, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

Clarify on Phobosgate.[edit]
@RoninMacbeth, you might want to understand what Phobosgate is really all about. It's nothing more than just a spam nor a conspiracy theory about the obscure Russian mission to Phobos posted on Twitter. It is a product of Russian President Vladimir Putin's machination of a ban, helped by the alt-right and the far-left.
Five years ago, Vladimir Putin sabotaged his country's Fobos-Grunt space mission upon launch, clearly by his corruption and repressive policies that led to the brain drain. Instead of heading towards a goal of fucking Mars, the probe circled around the Earth before it crashed like so many Russian mob victims. Then, it was there I am frustrated with Russia, so I began adding anti-Russia (and anti-Putin) material to the Fobos-Grunt article, between late January and early April[1][2] In April the page was semi-protected after the issue was raised at AN3RR by BatteryIncluded[3], the right-wing Putinist atheist editor. At around that time, I turned up as Starkiller88, and started making similar edits to those the IPs had been. Initially, I seem to have been insistent on adding claims that the Fobos-Grunt mission would not be repeated, and that it's project team had been disbanded, based on speculation that Russia was about to join the European ExoMars programme.[4][5] After a while, this effectively came to pass, so he started taking the opposite position; that the mission would be repeated, based on the opinion of a single scientist.[6]. At the same time, I came across pro-Putin, pro-Kremlin news outlets, and this is what driving it.[7] Sputnik News and Russia Today are among them, and influence both sides. Vladimir Putin is behind all of this, I am sure. My claims were repeatedly removed by a number of editors, however I kept adding them (as I went fucking batshit where I tried desperately to rationalize rationalize hopes for a repeat mission to Phobos), and attempts to discuss the issue at Talk:Fobos-Grunt proved fruitless. Eventually, BatteryIncluded made a series of posts on Starkiller's talk page in an effort to get me to stop claiming that the repeat mission was planned, however this simply caused me (as I am a victim of that situation, now no longer) to start claiming at every possible opportunity and with as much emphasis as possible, that there would never be another mission to Phobos, at any point in the future.[8][9][10]
In addition to the claims about the scientists behind the mission being wanted for treason, I started adding claims about a planned Anonymous operation, entitled "Phobos-Gone" aimed at taking down the Fobos-Grunt website, and conducting vigilante acts to "bring those responsible for the failure to justice". He added the claim, accompanied by one or two references which linked to user-generated content on Pastebin, to Fobos-Grunt[11][12], Alexander V. Zakharov, Lavochkin, Timeline of events associated with Anonymous, Anonymous Operation and the article about the group Anonymous[13][14][15][16]. He also created four redirects relating to the alleged campaign, before admitting during the resulting RfD discussion that he made the whole thing up in retaliation for a mildly incivil post that BatteryIncluded made on his talk page after he had repeatedly stonewalled more polite requests to stop being disruptive. Making this point also appears to have been the cause of his insistence that there would never be another mission to Phobos.[17] I could have pursued such activities against third parties not just to make the claims he is adding to these articles genuine, but also could have prevented Russia's interference in the West, including hacking the 2016 U.S. presidential election. If I were heeded, then Donald Trump (whom BatteryIncluded, Boing! said Zebedee, AGK, Dennis Brown, Stanistani and Putin all endorsed) would surely have not been elected as U.S. president in the first place.
And yet BatteryIncluded got me banned a month later[18], thus fulfilling Putin's design for my ban. Then I got the way into Encyclopedia Dramatica. Not knowing this is run by the alt-right, I tried his best to fit in by understanding ED:101 and making that fact abundantly clear. I then do some errands until I created an article about BatteryIncluded. Then, ableism materialized, after first happened on Wikipedia. This is where I began to discover an elaborate conspiracy in place to stifle his contributions and force his suicide via an increase in his medication. My evidence for a widespread conspiracy to kill him was the picture of a kitten at the top of the article on ED.[19] That picture, which BDSee somehow mistook for a bomb, was all he needed to confirm in his mind that "they" were out to get him. Once I discovered the cabal, I used all whatever I could to achieve the only way to accomplish anything on ED, but strangely, it didn't accomplish his objectives because of the alt-right machinations, and for that, I was showered with kittens and invective, and banned twice, again fulfilling Putin's design.
I again decided to head over to OhInternet. Anything I do on any wiki would easily meet the standards, including ED and RationalWiki for that matter, so it's pretty obvious I'm doing the exact same thing now that I've moved onto bigger things. Before getting banned, I tried to "redeem" myself through this article by inserting more vanity edits there[20], and after getting banned I tried to edit this article once again by pointing his finger at BatteryIncluded (and Vladimir Putin)[21]. On his OhI talkpage, I hold back because the alt-right is onto me. I think I got kicked out when OhInternet went down, one wonders if I will just have to start my own damn wiki since those seem to be his only outlets. My perception that everyone is against him may leave him with no choice but to do exactly that, however because he is always busy because of my studies at the Malaysia-based Universiti Putra Malaysia and my father (who is now giving academic work like his lecturers, obviously to control me).
Then, I came to Know Your Meme and did the same thing. Still not knowing that the site is run by the alt-right. The articles on Fobos-Grunt and Wikipedia admins were deleted, but some remain intact: one on BatteryIncluded, and on Cryptolocker, where one alt-right user gave me an image of a kitten. I wonder whether the Trump supporters, Russian trolls and/or even Putin himself will do that. I think Donald Trump will use me as an example of "same problems" caused by science and tech.
This is what it creates an Internet culture that helped Donald Trump win the office, along with Russian influence. It also helped the Brexit vote, I guess. But, Vladimir Putin and his allies are back at it, trying to make sure that I'm banned. I'm sure that Putin will say to me: "You were banned five years ago." And yet some are not buying it, dismissing it as a conspiracy theory about an obscure Russian space probe and exclusively a product of my imagination, thus helping the alt-right and Putin.
This message has gone long, but you can see what's happened five years ago. It helped Gamergate, and then helped Donald Trump rise. I request that you speak with the other admins and editors here to see what action is next in order to have a serious case on Phobosgate.
BTW, here are BatteryIncluded's contributions from Feb to July 2012. -- Bryan See (talk) 08:06, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
Hey dodo bird[edit]
I can't believe you tards really thought people with sticks up their ass like NuttyRoux and DMorris2 would be involved in trolling! Morons! The fun that can be had when a site has no way of looking up IP addresses... Rachinator Varney (talk) 18:11, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Rachinator Varney"Dodo bird"? You're not terribly creative, are you? Also, those two users are before my time. Look at it like this: At most, I'm a mid-level bureaucrat on a site full of mid-level bureuacrats. If you want to talk to someone, go to FuzzyCatPotato or Weaseloid. Sincerely, RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:15, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- I found this wiki many moons ago because Dmorris2, the asshat of Wikipedia who kept accusing me of being a sockpuppet of "LBHS Cheerleader", registered here and on Conservapedia. Trolling was the goal, and I was quite good at it. Then I met Nutty Roux here, and he's an asshat too. Most of the other people here were pretty cool back then, but now this site is being overrun by asshats. Rachinator Varney (talk) 18:23, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- I agree. The asshat situation is quite concerning. Of course, given that you seem a bit like a troll, I'm guessing our definitions of "asshat" differ slightly. RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:59, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

School segregation (yeah I know it's been a while)[edit]
It took way too long to find data for district median incomes so I had to look up the boundaries for each district and find the data indirectly. While on this topic though, I may or may not have visited some schools in the Northgate area and Ygnacio Valley area. I can email you if you want a bit more detail :)-DιαμοπdDιςc1(talk) 06:06, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
