- A little opinionated for a newbie? Been here all of 5 minutes and already calling this website infantile? Hmmmm. Ace McWickedThe Liquid Room 03:37, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- In my experience it is only the most infantile of person who doesn't realise within five minutes that this place is infantile. MarcusCicero 14:11, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I've been "on" the website for going on two years. Just because I didn't take part in the discussions...Plus, I thought that entire spiel was for us to express our opinions.... But then again, maybe I'm wrong?OpalHonors 14:30, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm Back!!![edit]
Ok, so school takes up all of my living time that I have ever had at all!!!! It's like trying to shoot myself in the foot with a nine mil! So I've finally managed to get enough stuff set up that I will be able to get back on at some points when I'm not swamped with midterms and stuff (like I am now, but I'm taking a break) OpalHonors (talk) 00:34, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Apparently I'm a sock of yours?[edit]
According to Theemperor I'm a sock of yours. Pay no heed to him, he likes impersonating RobS over here (If he could he'd call himself Chairman of the Department of Rationalwiki internal security) MarcusCicero 09:20, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- I think we all decided that OpalHonors isn't a sock. They just came off as one because they were defending you, MC. But, after having read some your contributions here, it is my opinion that you and MC aren't the same person.Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 12:00, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Why thank you Goonie! I wasn't defending him, by the way, I just thought that it was ridiculous that people were resorting to childish insults. It just seemed (forgive the pun) irrational...OpalHonors 12:23, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- And I couldn't agree more with your assessment. Trust me, I think it was just paranoia that people brought out the "you're one of MC's socks" card. By the way, on a completely different not, screw what the old people think just because you're young and don't have "experience." I'm one of the youngest users here (age 24), and I can tell you that age and intellect are not synonymous.Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 12:26, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

The resulting incident required twelve police cars, eight ambulances, and Alan Titchmarsh before the situation was resolved and the attacker placed under arrest. I'm a crazy punk rock kid out of Minneapolis, MN and just another editor/sysop/bureaucrat here. But, I have also made it my mission to show you newbies the ropes and be an advocate for you new guys when neccessary. It doesn't mean that I will always side with you or defend trolling or wandalism, but I will be here to help shield from the (at times angry) mob if you make honest, well meaning contributions here. If you need my help with questions, concerns, etc., just hit me up on my talkpage. Cheers. AnarchoGoon Swatting Assflys is how I earn my living 18:01, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

- Hint #1: when talking on a talkpage, it is proper to indent after the first comment using one colon per following comment, unless you are using, say 12 colons, in which case you might as well start the process over. That way, it makes reading the comments less confusing. Say you are the fifth comment in a discussed topic, you'd use four colons at the start of your comment like this :::: and then type your comment following those colons.Lord Goonie Hooray! - Perhaps, since one of your parents is still crazy religious. My dad is a Buddhist and my mom a Taoist, but both came from nutty Christian families. My dad's family (for those of us Family Guy fans" is so Catholic they'd put Peter Griffin's father Francis to shame. My mom's great grandfather founded the American Swedish Covenant Church, and they are all strict, Catholic-hating Protestants. And that's what drove my parents the way of the hippy. - I'm a red head, I have practically no pain tolerance unless I will myself to ignore it. And I'm getting the tattoo on my back, so it will be hard for me to ignore it when its right there.OpalHonors 23:06, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- Generally a tattoo shouldn't feel any worse than sunburn. It can't be any worse than going in the sun, since I hear that you guys and vampires just burst in to flames on contact with the sun. Grabbing some cream to use once the dressing comes off should be enough, unless you're getting something like this Amazing work of art done. --Ask me about your mother 23:14, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Goddess bless.... mine is only going to be a little bit bigger than my palm. Its a full moon with double crescents with a smoking volcano underneath... I'll post pictures of it one it is finished healingOpalHonors 23:23, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

- So I got my tattoo... nobody thought to warn me about the endorphin high I would have after I got it. I was in a good daze for about 3 hours or so. No it just stings, but it looks amazing.....OpalHonors 13:56, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, the endorphins do make tattoo work rather addictive. That, and the compliments, assuming the artist did a fine job. The stinging will subside very soon, just don't hit it on anything. Aboriginal Noise Oh, what a lovely tea party! 20:22, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

I see they still think I'm your sock[edit]
I see Ace and 'Thedictator' still cling on to the belief that I am a sock of yours. Honestly, don't let these people get to you; they are of simple, reactionary stock - silencing and discrediting is all they are capable of when met with reasoned argument - if they attempt to use reason themselves there's a pretty good chance it'll trigger some kind of dormant mental retardation. So its safer for them to whine and block and complain about other's arguments rather than challenge them head on.
If you'd like, you should pretend that you and I are the same. Make fools out of the fools by playing the fool. Could be a laugh. MarcusCicero 14:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Your new ink[edit]
It appears (from above) that you got some new ink a little while ago. What did you get, and how's the healing process going? I remember my first tat 6 years ago, that was an experience unlike any other. And that was 6 tattoos ago.Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 04:55, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I got a full moon with two double crescent moons, (sign of the Mother Goddess) with a smoking volcano underneath. Ill post pictures when it is finished healing. I got it on Friday, and now it is peeling... and itching like mad.... but four years of Tae Kwon Do taught me mental discipline, so I won't be scratching....— Unsigned, by: OpalHonors / talk / contribs
