Judas and Judas Iscariot (Merged)[edit]
Merged to Judas Iscariot. d hominem 19:32, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Falsifiability and Unfalsifiable (Merged)[edit]
The latter is no more than a dictionary definition. d hominem 18:18, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- Redirected to falsifiability. d hominem 15:59, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Heresy + Heretic + Heresy and Heretics (Merged)[edit]
Three articles on the same subject is too damn many. Probably these should all be merged into "heresy", unless there is really strong case for a "heretic" to have a separate definition. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 02:19, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yike--that's gonna be a mess to clean up. One article under "heresy" makes sense...who wants to help fix? TheoryOfPractice (talk) 02:29, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Shaman and Shamanism (Merged)[edit]
& What's with all crossing stuff out in the shaman article? Looks fuckin horrible. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 18:24, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- They're both pretty awful. Question is which title should get the improvements and which becomes a redirect I guess. Also, of course, they could be two separate articles if we had content for them. ħuman 04:45, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- It's usual to merge to the activity rather than the person, eg dentist --> dentistry, economist-->economics (which is actually pretty similar to shamanism). Totnesmartin (talk) 13:15, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Indeed. Perhaps just vap Shaman as it looks like crap at the moment. d hominem 13:26, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Shaman is awful, but does at least say what Shamanism is about, even if badly. I'll merge the non-crap bits. Totnesmartin (talk) 13:43, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Fair Use and Fair use (Merged)[edit]
It's not a proper noun; the capitalised version should be merged into the other. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 21:04, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Merged. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 08:19, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Holland and Netherlands (Merged)[edit]
The Netherlands is the proper name of this nation. Holland is strictly speaking a region of it. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 23:10, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- The Holland article is the better of the two, though. Researcher (talk) 23:14, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- True, but Netherlands should be the location & Holland a redirect to it. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 23:16, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. I brought it up just because I don't want someone to just turn the Holland one into a redirect, but instead to incorporate what's there. (But I think I'm too out of it to deal with it.) Researcher (talk) 23:29, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- Having the Holland article is funnier, IMO. We're not wikipedia, we can get it backwards and still "get it right". Rewriting all those holland jokes might wreck them. How about redirecting Netherlands, but copying its entire contents to a section of Holland? I'll do it if you folks want. Really. I'll actually do some work around here for once! ħuman 03:04, 25 March 2010 (UTC

Post hoc, ergo propter hoc and "affirming the consequent" (Merged)[edit]
If I understand correctly, these are just different terms for the same logical fallacy. Correlation does not equal causation is also related, but stands well enough alone. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 22:33, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Merged - David Gerard (talk) 23:07, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Zombie and Zombies (Merged)[edit]
Merge needed. Singular is more conventional for article title than plural. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 22:39, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Transubstantiation and Eucharist (Separate)[edit]
Transubstantiation and Eucharist merge?--BobSpring is sprung! 16:50, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- No idea, actually. I thought the two would be okay as separate entities. d hominem 18:32, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- The Eucharist is the "sacrament" of the bread & wine - i.e. the things themselves (bread, wine) &/or the ritual of consecrating & receiving them. Transubstantiation is the belief (among Catholics & Orthodox) that these things actually become the body & blood of JC during the Eucharist in some sort of real spiritual sense (whatever that may be) rather than symbolically (as most Protestants believe). The two terms aren't synonymous & should be separate articles, although they could probably be improved to clarify the distinction. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 19:42, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think I could support that . Lily Inspirate me. 20:21, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Tunguska Event and Tunguska event (Merged)[edit]
Put in a redirect from above heading to the actual article as it is in 'fairly common use' 82.44.143.26 (talk) 18:54, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- Whut? What are you saying it's duplicate to? ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 15:39, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Note the date and the capitalization in the tile. It has been fixed. --ZooGuard (talk) 15:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
Kids! This site is all yours.: What Happened During the Cambrian Period? and Kids! This site is all yours (Merged)[edit]
Kids! This site is all yours.: What Happened During the Cambrian Period? should be merged into Kids! This site is all yours as Kids! This site is all yours.: What Happened During the Cambrian Period? is a single topic on the Kids! This site is all yours!.--Thedoctor80 (talk) 18:01, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- I assume you're aware of how difficult that is to read! Although after a few minutes of staring, I can say that I agree. d hominem 18:08, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- Oooh, the linkies make it much easier. d hominem 18:13, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- I think there's a missing "website" in the end.
- Kids! This site is all yours is the newer and much shorter article. I'm going to vaporize it and move the other one over its smoldering remains.--ZooGuard (talk) 18:14, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- Oooh, the linkies make it much easier. d hominem 18:13, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Anti-nuclear movement and Anti-nuclear arguments (Merged)[edit]
High level of overlap exists between these two articles. Like, really high. Suggestions? ThunderkatzHo! 16:15, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- To describe that level of overlap as "really high" would be like describing Chernobyl as "a little bit of a bang" (I'm not a nuclear physicist, that's the best I've got). Yeah, merge them all into "anti nuclear movement". d hominem 16:51, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- You can just redirect rather than commenting out or nowiki-ing the links. d hominem 17:53, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
Nancy Brewster and Christian Science (Merged)[edit]
The content of the Nancy Brewster article can be paraphrased and inserted in the Christian Science article, IMO. ThunderkatzHo! 23:39, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
- Merged. ThunderkatzHo! 20:49, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
Applied kinesiology and Applied kinesiology scam (Merged)[edit]
The second can go into the first. ThunderkatzHo! 16:48, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, it'd seem strange to have two articles on that... d hominem 12:51, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Merged. The second seemed to have better info too. d hominem 12:55, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
190,000 guns and Iraq War (Merged)[edit]
I get what the 190,000 guns article is saying, but surely that can all be summed up in the Iraq war article? ThunderkatzHo! 18:04, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yes. Merge.--BobSpring is sprung! 18:27, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Merged. ThunderkatzHo! 06:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Greenwashing and Green washing (Merged)[edit]

- That was easy. Тycommunications wire 02:23, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Cell and Cell theory (Merged)[edit]
Cell theory could easily be merged into cell. Blue (pester) 21:59, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
How do you know? Were you there? and Courtier's Reply (Separate)[edit]
While slightly similar, I don't see how merging is the right way. One is a reply saying "you haven't studied it enough so aren't allowed to comment" the other says, literally "you weren't there so how do you know". Extensions of an argument from ignorance, surely, but not the same thing. d hominem 14:52, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Agree. And since no one has replied to this in the two and a half months it's been up, I'll remove the templates soon unless someone can offer a reason why. ThunderkatzHo! 00:58, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- No one offered any support for merging, so the template was removed from Courtier's Reply. Resolved. ThunderkatzHo! 21:48, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Fat feminism and Fat activism (Merged)[edit]
Both articles are crap right now - I say nuke 'em both, personally. ThunderkatzHo! 20:25, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. I'll go toss up the delete tmp if you haven't already. ТyNo
20:29, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- Resolved. Fat feminism now redirects to Fat activism, and either both shall live or both shall fall. ThunderkatzHo! 00:53, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
First law of thermodynamics and Laws of thermodynamics (Separate)[edit]
Someone wants to merge the first law into the group page. However, I'd argue that the general laws page should be turned into a fork, the smart-ass laws moved to fun, and just keep each law its own page. ThunderkatzHo! 20:25, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- I think there's a good reason to keep the Second Law of Thermodynamics separate (it's sorta iconic and misused by creationists), but the others will ever be expanded. steriletalk 01:44, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- The 1st law of thermo is occasionally mentioned by creationists. The universe couldn't come from nothing, so it is said, because that would violate the 1st law of thermo. There are, as far as I know, three standard replies: (1) A quantum fluctuation can violate the 1st law (2) The total energy of the universe is equal to zero (3) At the beginning, there is no Δt, so no violation of ΔE/Δt=0. TomS TDotO (talk) 10:43, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- So would anyone object to me forking Laws of thermodynamics and letting the other pages stand as is... as are? ThunderkatzHo! 21:53, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Go ahead. Тycommunications wire

Meter and Metric system (Merged)[edit]
Meter seems to exist for the sole purpose of allowing a link to a stupid CP joke. Delete. Тyrannis 20:28, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Panama Canal and Panama (Merged)[edit]
Merge first into second. ThunderkatzHo! 20:25, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Political Philosophy and Political philosophy (Merged)[edit]
Second one has correct title. No opinion on content. ThunderkatzHo! 20:25, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

How do you know? Were you there? and Disproving evolution (Separate)[edit]
I don't believe these two should be merged. Disproving evolution is about legitimate scientific ways to disprove evolution, HdykWyt is about a lame-ass attempt by Ken Ham to say no one knows but the Invisible Space Man God. ThunderkatzHo! 21:50, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
The Big Pitcher and Chronic Oxygen Debt Syndrome (Merged)[edit]
Thoughts? I don't see a reason for a full article on a made-up term specific to this device. CowHammer (talk) 21:07, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree. I thought there were more cranks making up "solutions" to this in order to drain people's wallets. ~ Subsound ~ 20:15, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
