Rollback[edit]

I reverted because you removed to much crap for pretty much no discernible reason. 'Legionwhat do you want from me 04:39, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

de patrolled[edit]

Honestly i've seen your name and "crap edit" and "reverted" combined far to often on the RC to think you've earned the right to be considered autopatrolled. --"Paravant" Talk & Contribs 17:36, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Salty bunch. Plutoniumboss (talk) 11:35, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
And right away you get it taken away for the same exact reason.--"Paravant" Talk & Contribs 04:33, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Minor edit[edit]

1085 chars is not a minor edit. Scream!! (talk) 14:29, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Yeah stop doing that pls. SolPyre (talk) 15:08, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
Check your preferences. It might be set as default. SmartFeller (talk) 16:04, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Oi! You're still doing this minor edit thing, read this and stop. Thanks SolPyre (talk) 00:00, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Whine page, not a talk page. SolPyre (talk) 00:23, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Page whine, a not page talk. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 01:27, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

When in doubt, don't mark an edit as minor. Minor edits should only be used for small fixes such as a spelling error, fixing a comma, and such. Carpetsmoker (talk) 08:11, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Category:Hit pieces and hatchet jobs[edit]

I just removed this category. You added it to a whole bunch of articles where it wasn't really applicable IMHO, and it was a silly category to begin with... — Carpetsmoker (talk) 12:43, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Copyright notice[edit]

Hello there. Would you mind adding a copyright license to that image you uploaded? Thank you. Gooniepunk (talk) 04:37, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

Based on my reading The Guardian's "open license" terms (which is where I end up when I click on "Reuse this content"), I don't think we can use this image? I don't see where the "Must attribute to Mark Makela if used elsewhere, other than on Wikimedia and its projects" came from? — Carpetsmoker (talk) 08:36, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

None of this pertains to me, but I can name five or six sysops who should be blocked, according to your "standards". Plutoniumboss (talk) 00:35, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Wrong answer. --"Paravant" Talk & Contribs 00:36, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Just an observation. Plutoniumboss (talk) 01:05, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
You're obviously trying to improve the wiki, but I'm not sure if making lots of fairly small changes to other people's contributions is a really good way to do that. Maybe focus a bit more on adding sections, or even new pages ;-) Being less snappy on your talk page would probably also help ;-) Carpetsmoker (talk) 00:51, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Thank you, Carpetsmoker. (: I'll keep what you've said in mind. Plutoniumboss (talk) 01:05, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
I removed you from the vandal bin. Also, take it easy with adding a large number of pages to a certain category; like the "Hit pieces and hatchet jobs" category above (but others as well). If I'm not mistaken, a good portion of your reverted edits were over categories. Carpetsmoker (talk) 08:09, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Don't worry, the article space edits are fucking terrible too. I'm wondering now if "Proxima Centauri" is not in fact a person but actually a malign spirit of incompetent enthusiasm that descends upon editors from time to time - David Gerard (talk) 13:32, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Bot runs[edit]

Your editing is bad enough and people have to revert it all the time. You're now going on bot runs to post crap people have to remove. Please stop it. I've put you back in the vandal bin for now to attempt to alleviate the problem - David Gerard (talk) 21:39, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

I can be patient.Plutoniumboss (talk) 21:42, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
Vandal binning can become blocking. Keep that in mind as you determine how "patient" to be.---Mona- (talk) 21:44, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
I didn't make the bot, I expanded it. But I'll do my time without complaint. (@Mona nuking my work over a self-quote... Where did you get your law degree, Clown College?) Plutoniumboss (talk) 22:22, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
I got my law degree where were taught to be very careful to be secure in our fact claims before we made them. Contrary to your assertion, that is not a "self-quote." It's placement was endorsed by one user, and then edited in by yet another. I had nothing to do with it. Moreover, that quote equals a fraction of the 3K-characters of yours I reverted.---Mona- (talk) 23:31, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
So much for "piecemeal edits". I do everything she says, and get blocked anyway. Stalag thinks she has friends in high places, when she doesn't even have any in low places. Plutoniumboss (talk) 04:20, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
An edit of 1.9K characters isn't piecemeal. Bye.---Mona- (talk) 04:25, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Bronies are unpleasant people[edit]

Case in point. I'm coming off a maximum length block and Paravant has just blocked me again. I've been here only a month, I've broken no community rules, and I don't have sysop powers or any means of defending myself. If I can't edit even once without this mouth-breather or their pals lying in wait then I have effectively been permabanned. Plutoniumboss (talk) 05:44, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

If your edits were better, or at least less frequent, maybe you wouldn't get blocked so often by other editors tired of reverting them? Just a thought. ScepticWombat (talk) 06:07, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
4 edits. 4 edits in as many hours. Also, in my brief time here I've found adjectives like "terrible" or "better" to be so deliberately obtuse as to mean whatever mods want them to mean. Paravant is known on the wiki for having an itchy trigger finger and the mask of pedantry crumbles away if you ask it for help; I've steered clear of them to the best of my ability, but only so much one can do when one is autopatrolled and vandal binned. Plutoniumboss (talk) 06:27, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
Yes 4 edits of which the 2 major ones continue the, eh, "unhelpful" character that landed you in the vandal bin in the first place (and before you blame Paravant, it was David Gerard who binned you). Consider the character and content the few of your edits that weren't reverted and compare them to the many that were and maybe you'll spot some hints about how to edit in the future? ScepticWombat (talk) 06:51, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

You've been mopped[edit]

In the last three weeks you seem to have gotten the hang of things and are doing some good edits. So I made you sysop. Don't make other editors hate me! ;) ---Mona- (talk) 19:39, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Brown's ad has her saying (in 2010) "30 years ago anything was possible in this state" (Brown was governor in 1980), not "In 1970-whatever California was great! Now it's a shithole. I'll Make California Great Again!" Read-Write (talk) 03:59, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi[edit]

What exactly is your objection to me pointing out that "Loathing Clinton is a favorite pastime for many Republicans and wingnuts". Just so you know, that part wasn't originally added by me. I merely think it's fitting. Why remove it? Typhoon (talk) 18:26, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

Oh, lick my ass, Percy. Compare this with the most recent version and tell me which one of us is the shoddy editor. Get the hell off my Talk Page. Plutoniumboss (talk) 14:40, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

Snark and you - never friends[edit]

I would post this to the appropriate talk page if it were limited to one or a few articles, but you seem to think of snark as the worst thing ever to exist and have a weird obsession with removing it everywhere you find it. Stop it! another Jewish conspiracy by (((Laurogeita Hamabost))) (talk) 22:18, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

Which reinforces my point that you, Nerd, and Percy black never, ever read the revision history. I've added plenty of snark to those articles (probably twice as much as you had/have.) My point all along that your additions are wrongheaded, partisan or aesthetically ugly. Plutoniumboss (talk) 22:31, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

No, he can still edit, and I don't think anybody but David Gerard should unbin prior to resolution of the case. Objective (talk) 17:33, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Once every thirty minutes is sometimes not enough to effectively participate in a fast moving debate. But maybe this should be debated in the coop instead. Plutoniumboss might wish to say whether he'd abide by such a deal at all. another Jewish conspiracy by (((Laurogeita Hamabost))) (talk) 17:42, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
You put this ball into motion. It's like calling the police in a shall-arrest state when your husband's beating you. Objective (talk) 21:00, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
You seem to misunderstand me. I intend to give the accused all means to effectively defend himself. However, this is subject to some preconditions, namely him not abusing said "privileges". another Jewish conspiracy by (((Laurogeita Hamabost))) (talk) 21:50, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Excuse me,

Can you add more factual videos? I know that according to our guidelines we are suppose to be a bit snarky but please read up on our policies.

The videos you recently added belong more to the funspace. Videos from Youtube channels such as Scishow, CGP Grey are much better suited to the standard rationalwiki articles.

Thank you for reading this,

Thanks. I think you've all the potential to be a great sysop -- just not quite enough restraint. Yet that is a quality of newbies and should pass with time. Once a month passes, just bop me on the head. Fuzzy. Cat. Potato! (talk/stalk) 21:00, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
I actually have some faith in that, too. Plutonium, you've proven you can keep calm. Like FCP alludes to, the question is if you will. ...that I often (though not always) find your writing to be both humorous and elucidating. At your best, you come across as well read, and you have a sharp pen indeed. For what it's worth — picturing you in all fairness as a big, bloated, angry duck — while some of your eggs are bound to crack, I must report that the occasional egg laid by you is in fact golden. Your recent edits to the Dr. frankenStein article are much appreciated!

I'm always glad to see your wit being put to use — even against myself, as necessary.

Which brings me to why I'm here — to draw attention to the as-of-yet unexploited snark goldmine that is frankenStein's MONSTERWikipedia ($tein's VP pick).

Seriously. This shit overtakes even the libertarians, and their platform features deep southern belly dancing.

I hope to garner your interest, and/or insight, and/or a sick burn. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 15:11, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

They're annoying, sure. But I view them as less dangerous than the left/right libertarian crowd. Those guys are more reckless, more cunning (see Greenwald and Taibbi, both left-libertarians, forming alliances with socialists to topple liberalism), and cloak themselves in anti-imperialism. Which is tremendously effective on young people who have an over-developed sense of justice.
It worries me, because I really think the left and right are teaming up to dissolve the United States government. Plutoniumboss (talk) 17:21, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Just to be sure — when you say "they", are you talking about the libertarians, or the $tein supporters?
What's your take on Baraka, if i may ask?
All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 17:34, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
What's my take? I's in all there in the article. It's sad that some greens are so far gone that they think he's calling out AmeriKKKa on its sins. But what are you gonna do? I went to school with those people, I lived near a commune (Twin Oaks), I was friends with some of them, and they're never going to change. Nothing you do can appease them. Plutoniumboss (talk) 17:53, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
I don't ask in jest, but — when you say "those people", you mean Green party voters, or the select few urban gentlemen who would unironically share Baraka's cranky race war-esque views? All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 17:59, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Nope, whiter than my ass.
Most black voters are unadventurous democrats. There are a few here who like to disrupt rallies with pro-Gaddafi, pro-Assad (confusing since my name is Azad!) chants, and that sort of thing. But that's nutpicking. As a whole, the progressive movement is a middle class one. Plutoniumboss (talk) 18:06, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
So you've meant (predominantly white) Green party voters both times? Just to be clear. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 18:10, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Yes. And I think greens are consciously trying to crowbar the black vote away from the Dems. Plutoniumboss (talk) 18:14, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up! And yeah, I agree that the Green party appears to be what we Swedes refer to as a "missnöjesparti", i.e. essentially a party by disgruntled voters (of some established party), for disgruntled voters (of said established party). Reverend Black Percy (talk) 18:36, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
