That should’ve been “seems sane”[edit]
Because of your edits to and time on the wiki, wizard Sysop has been added to your user rights. Feel free to let your newfound POWER course through your veins. You are one, meaning you can give yourself the bot user right to hide your edits from recent changes (and import pages from other wikis, for some reason). Useful when you’re correcting a bunch of categories like you just were. Christopher (talk) 14:49, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Subjectively adding content to the story when religion is involved is in the rules[edit]
Certain claims as Christian are Jewish and have no place as Christian views and are not part of the holy Bible Nor has it ever and I mean ever to my knowledge been acceptable nor do I even know of a single case and Incest with your children except perhaps of a deeply rejected criminal natural your cousin however is OK the Bible teaches us to help the weak the sick and the meek And it is not ok to actively rape or hurt anyone however it is forgivable however again raping a child is not considered ok ever with society I can't speak for God but Generally it causes people whom hold a deep hatred towards things family religion ect because of the wrong and them not being mature enough and they often seek to hurt others in the form of resentment this however could be considered outside of subjective article however I think you should have to include a comment that forgiveness is freely given and not conditionally not by rules law or sins as its not only offensive but plainly unacceptable to use the old testament an un edited Jewish text as Christian or part of the holy Bible. Sin is frowned on and obviously goes against the teachings of Jesus but its not a condition to be Christian or for forgiveness. — Unsigned, by: Itellingonyoupedo / talk / contribs 12:11, 29 April 2023
- Maybe something more can be written on the Jack Chick page about the contrast between his views and other Christian views. You seemed to have a basic point, so I pointed to Talk:Jack Chick as the place to discuss that more, but the comments you inserted directly into that article were too poorly edited to fit into the rest of the text, so I reverted those for that reason. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 12:28, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
PS & S[edit]
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvQ7wMpXgAgatOu.png
Is there a reason why they left the ID and joined the ECR? Also, S has reached 38,4% in the latest poll. Does this mean that Andersson is less Third-wayish now or is she too busy stealing SD voters (SD went down with 4,1%)? Arcadium Trancefer (talk) 15:35, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
- On Finland. It's probably at least in part a move to reduce friction for Kok. forming a government with them, a symbolic move to show that PS are not currently hostile to a strong EU. SDP also made a move which has been viewed similarly (making it easier to appeal to Kok. for a coalition), Marin announcing she'll step down from leading the party in September.
- On Sweden. S has grown greatly in polls simply by being the big opposition party and criticizing every blunder the current government makes. Among them, the government over-promised and then dragged their feet on supporting people in times of high electricity costs, and failed to implement the extra tax on energy company profits in time, missing out on billions. They've squandered opportunities to receive EU funds. SD flirts with climate denialism and pushes the government in that direction. M and their PM have also humiliated themselves and Sweden, many think, by trying to get Sweden into NATO quickly through brown-nosing Erdogan, and failing. People have generally been underwhelmed. It's also a risky time to be in government without losing popularity, I think, with the many little setbacks trickling in. Lately rifts have also began growing between the governing coalition parties, on EU and immigration and more, and on top of that SD lost a parliamentarian (though she claims she'll generally vote the same) who became infamous for speaking at a conspiracy theorist conference -- so potentially the 2 mandate lead over the opposition may drop to just 1.
- I think S is in large part winning back from SD. But maybe the opposition will slide back left at least a little, instead of imitating the right, as people get sick of the right. (Andersson's predecessor, Stefan Löfven, was the S leader who first went full Third Way in my view. After the 2018 election, he had S cut a deal with C and L lowering the taxes on the rich, and more...) --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 16:50, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
Permanently block them.[edit]
It's obvious that they are not interested in good faith edits after the few days are up, so just permanently block them and get rid of them. 2601:281:D880:DED0:B9BC:651E:E0F0:C5A3 (talk) 19:33, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- It's probably just one person, one of the most familiar long-term vandals. Or mainly. The reason permablocks for IPs aren't done is that IPs come and go into use for people. This is IP-hopping vandalism, the new IPs are only used shortly, so the length doesn't really matter. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 19:39, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
Finland's new government[edit]
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FzDSrRvX0AAKDhZ.png
I seriously have my doubts that the Finns Party is even vaguely interested in Finland's Swedish minority. Surprised they went along with this right-wing government. Arcadium Trancefer (talk) 17:24, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Arcadium Trancefer They're parties directly at odds with one another in some ways (The Finns Party want to make the Swedish language less of a thing in Finland, where it has a status as the second language), and going to have to compromise a lot, the smaller party losing out the most -- it may be a bad bargain, or risky gamble. A little like the Swedish L and SD were enemies before the last election (often insulting one another), but then formed the current Swedish government -- L as a result now seen as compromising away their values and losing support to fall below the electoral threshold in polling (as did Swedish KD) for months so far. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 02:23, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

Hi[edit]
I've been on the board for over a year and there has never been a meeting. Are we going to ever have a meeting? ShabiDOO 12:29, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds like it may be an uphill struggle to get anything to happen, then. (I'm new and nothing has happened except I'm now listed at the RW page.) But I saw another of your recent exchanges on this, and I guess I'll try with the Discord, to see if anything can be done there (vs. no response on the board talk page here on RW). --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 01:50, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Shabidoo, I basically passed on your message along with my own, but apart from one member agreeing there's nothing more yet. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 03:49, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
Catgrrl[edit]
Though she’s obviously not here to build an encyclopedia, is there a reason why you unilaterally banned her without opening an ATIM? (Not that I care, she’s a long-term troll who’s come and gone since the panny; if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and quacks like a duck… --Goatspeed. - The account had only vandalism edits, and a spree of them, after a shorter block earlier in response to two. Usually new vandalism-only accounts are simply permablocked after they show that behavior. The connection to abandoned earlier accounts seem the only reason to treat it otherwise, since those did more than simply vandalize, and if you feel it best it could be discussed in ATIM. However, with someone using socks, it doesn't seem too controversial to ban a vandalism-only sock. @Plutocow seemed to agree and go further, extending the ban to the older accounts as well. Thoughts? --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 11:02, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- The first one only did more than vandalize because a certain now-banned user whose name alliterates with “oxygen” fell for her “evil liberals!!!!!!111!!!SHIFT1!!SHIFToneeleventyone11!!!1! schtick hook, line and sinker. In addition to randomly witch-hunting BoNs and new editors she disagreed with as ban evasions, another compulsion of hypOxya’s was ideological sysoppings of drive-by editors just because they allegedly supported her pet cause. It was briefly a sysop until she got demopped for trying to whitewash the Islam article and losing her shit over an innocent youtuber on a talkpage. --Goatspeed. - I think it would probably be a waste of time of RW members to take it to ATIM, and don't mind Plutocow's extension of the ban. Both the older accounts were sanctioned too before (sysoprevoke, blocks, no permaban), the second was just trolling but short of a permaban, and it looks like no ties of good faith activity were left. The new spree with a new sock made it look similar to the usual repeat vandals who're banned quickly as they register new socks. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 13:00, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- I suppose, yes; benefit of the doubt is usually wasted on persistent, single-purpose trolls. Case in point would be this example, as that moron- banned for very similar shit- was so pampered as a child and surrounds himself with yes-men as his only friends, he didn’t even have the word “no” in his vocabulary and thought he could just lie and sealion his way out of it because that always worked with the mother he likely still lives with since he legitimately thinks being a failed content creator is a job --Goatspeed. It's an unlikely coincedence[edit]
Academic philosophy General, foot legion. By unlikely I mean, it probably doesn't mean anything.Torrent (talk) 09:52, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
- I have no idea what you mean. Or if you're trying to read something into my name (looking at some letters), then no, this name is actually made by scrambling the two words: nostril, potato. (The capitalization of the first resulting 'g' was an added final touch, it seemed to separate two plausible parts or sub-names.) Also, if you're indeed referring to me in some way, I'm not studying philosophy academically. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 18:10, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
So you told me a while ago that Steven Greer had a lot of critics WITHIN the UFO community...[edit]
...and my goodness, that was a great hint! I am astounded that it's the true believers on the internet who are doing a debunk on this. I fully expected this to be up on somewhere like Metabunk, but nope! It's on r/UFOs and the Washington Examiner, a newspaper known for climate change denial (the article even opens with the author confessing that he might be a believer in alien visitation, and then takes Greer to town). Your feedback on my previous article has made my job a good bit easier, Apooft. Go raibh maith agat. - Rairyu75 (Talk) 14:13, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
