Remember how CP used to call Obama a king

Well, now trump is issuing decrees by tweet ordering businesses to cease doing business with China. Hypocrisy on one hand and slavish devotion to Trump on the other. King Obama indeed.... Acei9 01:43, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

Section in which Rob babbles about race for no reason or prompting

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Ok. I'll come clean. I have a guilty conscience over this. I put a lot of work into researching this:

Maddow uses her show to deliver racist rants against outsourcing jobs to China and India.[2][3][4][5][6][7].The Dark Side of the Outsourcing Revolution, By Naeem Mohaiemen, AlterNet, January 23, 2004.Does Outsourcing Create Racism? Yahoo Answers. Is 'Outsourced' racist? NBC's new comedy, set in a Mumbai call center, is drawing charges that it's culturally insensitive, Review, The Week, September 24, 2010.Outsourced Racism, New Republic, Neera Tanden, May 5, 2010.</ref><ref>"at the World Economic Forum trade a British unionist, Philip Jennings, boldly declared that outsourcing white-collar jobs to low-wage developing countries, especially India and China, would provoke ... opposition of developed-world labour unions to trade liberalisation, especially in relation to outsourcing, imports of cheap consumer goods and labour migration, can easily fuel racism within the West in the 21st century." [2]Transcript: The Rachel Maddow Show, Thursday. October 14, 2010.

On the surface it would appear Rachel Maddow and I have flipped our respective positions. I'll admit, I was wrong to call her racist then, and she needs to admit she is wrong calling Trump supporters racist now. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 03:54, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

This isn't hard to understand: In 2010 I called opponents of free trade racists, as represented by Rachel Maddow (see footnote 5 especially). In 2019 it appears Maddow and I have flipped our positions - she's a big critic of Trump who is undoing free trade policies - I've adopted the position of opposing "imports of cheap consumer goods and labour migration" which "can easily fuel racism within the West in the 21st century." I was wrong then to call Maddow a racist, and she needs to admit her error now calling the anti-free trade movement "racist." nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 18:29, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
You are a racist. Trump is a racist, his policies are designed to negatively effect ethnic minorities (and minorities overall). You support him, therefore you support his policies, therefore you you support racism, therefore you are racist. Whether you admit this fact is irreverent. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 18:38, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
Oh by the way, there's no debating or discussing these facts. I've met the burden of proof, and showed a chain of causation, you're either dishonest or in denial. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 18:40, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
And my conversion to being pro-tariff is not a matter of convenience. From the late 1970s until 2014 I embraced the Reaganesque line (which traces its origins to FDR & Truman) that free trade promotes democracy. By 2014 (and there are recorded discussions of this in RW archives) I began dismissing this idea with the realization that free trade only strengthened tyrannical regimes (China and Iran as examples). True, Trump held these views since at least 1986, and I never fully embraced them until after Trump put his foot down and proved he was serious, going against the Washington consensus with Chinese tariffs. I am not alone among GOPers, who used to regard the anti-free trade movement as racist, until the Midwestern rednecks spoke out in 2016 and said they would rather have jobs than government provided opioids to soothe their losses. nobsDie fascists! I am not a crook. Oxyaena Harass 09:45, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
The 'I am not a crook' quote is one of the most bizarre in the Nixon story - and it has nothing to do with Watergate.
The lame duck Congress (Dec. 1968) before Nixon took office changed the tax law. Nixon appraised his VP papers during the transition to take a charitable tax deduction (on the advice of LBJ). The most valuable item was a 1956 letter from Martin Luther King (killed Apr. 1968). A Nixon flunky backdated the transfer of the charitable deduction in the months that followed to make the transaction appear to have taken affect before the new law took affect. Nixon had no knowledge of the accountant backdating the document. In Nixon's second term, Nixon came under IRS audit. The Watergate fishing expedition was producing nothing, and the public had trouble understanding what Nixon was accused of. The new accusation was that Nixon took an illegal deduction, got a $250,000 refund, and bought a Key Biscayne property (the 'Florida White House'). When asked about it, he said 'I am not a crook. I earned every dime'. Fake news media was only too willing to spin that into something that had to do with the convoluted Watergate revelations.
And Congress only changed the law cause Nixon was coming into office. LBJ and others had taken advantage of this same loophole.
So Congress had disallowed public servants from taking a deduction for donation of their papers. When Nixon challenged the IRS (Nixon vs. United States) SCOTUS ruled the papers were the government's property. Hillary Clinton's emails were not her own private property to delete under this same ruling. She knew better. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 10:07, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Holy fuck this is amazing lol--RipCityLiberal (talk) 15:19, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

Leaving aside a discussion of Hillary's deleted emails being akin to Nixon's 18 minute gap in Oval Office tapes, look at the IG Comey carve out report. Comey argues that 7 memos he wrote of conversations with the President were his private property, as Nixon argued Oval Office tape recordings were Nixon's private property.
Now, do you believe Comey is making a good faith argument?
And let's leave aside discussing whether's Comey exoneration of Clinton overturns the Watergate precedent regarding government files. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 20:19, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

Also that Michael Flynn is fucking guilty.--RipCityLiberal (talk) 18:22, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

Duh, this is the separate Comey carve out report, not the FISA abuse report.
You will recall, there was a McCabe carve out report separate from OIG Clinton email report. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 18:47, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
About that, very simple question I've been waiting some time for you to answer, a straightforward number, no need to branch out just yet: in what year was a FISA warrant first obtained for Carter Page? Semipenultimate (talk) 19:49, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
October 21, 2016, with three renewals every 90 days for the next year.
More importantly, FISA Section 702 does not need a warrant - it is supposed to be used against non-citizens outside the United States. It was used illegally against U.S. citizens since 2012, and particularly against Hillary Clinton opponents beginning in the July 2015-November 2015 timeframe. FISA abuse first came under review after this timeframe. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 19:55, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
Agents of foreign governments, even if they are US citizens, can have their communications with said foreign governments be subjected to FISA warrants. As it turns out, 2016 was not actually the first time a FISA warrant was obtained for Carter Page. The correct answer is '2013'. Now, the next question: what did Page do in 2013 with respect to a foreign government that might justify the FBI's FISA warrant? Semipenultimate (talk) 20:21, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
Ha Ha! Now you are getting at what was withheld from the FISA court. Page is UCE-1 in this DOJ Press Release.
The FBI obtained the recordings after Sporyshev attempted to recruit an FBI undercover employee (“UCE-1”) [Carter Page] who was posing as an analyst from a New York-based energy company. In response to requests from Sporyshev, [Carter Page] provided Sporyshev with binders containing purported industry analysis written by [Carter Page] and supporting documentation relating to [Carter Page's] reports, as well as covertly placed recording devices."
While the court (and media) have been told for three years now that Russians tried to recruit Page in 2013, they have not been told that Page reported the attempted recruitment to the FBI and went to work for them as a paid undercover operative.
Ironically, the public Press Release and thanks given (anonymously as UCE-1) to Page in March 2016 happened only 10 days before he volunteered for the trump campaign. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 20:30, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
How can there be an abuse of FISA, if by your stated time when they issued it in 2016, the FBI had already been investigating Russian connections to the Trump campaign for three months?--RipCityLiberal (talk) 21:03, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
Also the source you've included is the SDNY, but it doesn't name the UCE. And since Page has been bragging about being an informal consult of the Kremlin since 2013, this seems like a stretch.--RipCityLiberal (talk) 21:10, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
Now you're seeing the outline.
Snowden described the the potential for abuse :"I, sitting at my desk, certainly had the authorities to WIRETAP anyone, from you, or your accountant, to a federal judge, to even the President if I had a personal" identifier. This is the FISA 702 system. The FISA court has ruled abuse was occurring since 2012.
When NSA director Adm. Rogers discovered the abuse, he shut it down in April 2016. FusionGPS was hired the next day.
FBI 'contractors' were responsible for the abuse. This is where Nellie Ohr comes in. After outside contractor access was cutoff, illegal FISA 702 data was funneled outside the FBI [to FusionGPS] to make it appear the surveillance data was coming from outside the FBI.
Before going farther, you need an understanding of the difference between a FISA Title I warrant, and FISA 702 data. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 22:27, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
My god, NONE OF WHAT YOU SAID HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS. I'm starting to believe the only reason you ride with Trump is you both suffer from the same syphilitic brain disability to process simple information.--RipCityLiberal (talk) 15:08, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Duh, I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to Semipenultimate.
You haven't a clue what you are talking or writing about, to wit (a) Flynn is no longer cooperating with his plea agreement, and (b) you haven't a clue about the IG reports.
The whole basis for the origins of Russia investigation are slowly being undermined, as well as the Mueller report itself. If you think your hard work and ignorance now will pay some dividend in the 2020 election year, you're just emblematic of how far out of touch with reality leftwing extremists such as yourself are. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 16:06, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
A)Flynn has completed his cooperation...which the gov't announced today. Now he is the one delaying his sentencing, because he shuffled his defense team.
B)The IG report is pretty clear that nothing Comey did was illegal, he did not release any confidential information, and they aren't pursuing any litigation.
The only ignorant person here is you, who refuses to acknowledge basic facts in favor wild conspiracies and baseless accusations against people simply because Trump doesn't like them.--RipCityLiberal (talk) 17:40, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Well, I can see this has been constructive - you are updating yourself on the Flynn case. Secondly, read the conclusion in the Comey IG report, beginning at page 54. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 18:55, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Nobs, the fact that Page was already a known foreign asset is something that Republicans have been trying to hide; if he's an agent of a foreign power, Title I covers a broad base of his activities. But it's better optics to convince people that he was monitored out of the blue, which is why 702 comes up so often as a way to confuse the issue. And yes, 702 abuse has taken place across multiple presidencies, and is no doubt continuing to take place under the current president. But you are conflating the two: Page was monitored via Title I, due to his self-reported affiliation. 702 was not used to monitor Carter Page since his pre-existing status - do you agree that this is what the facts state? Semipenultimate (talk) 20:54, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
You'll have to wait for the full FISA abuse report. Its gonna be a big deal. The future of the FISA Act and FISA Court are at issue. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 01:48, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham says (a) the CIA was likely involved in the origins of Trump-Russia and (b) the results of these investigations will likely lead to the reorganization of the Justice Department. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 15:13, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Then I suppose the conversation is on hold until this FISA report comes out and it has provable evidence of what you're claiming beyond hearsay, or if Lindsay Graham can also substantiate his claims with actual evidence. Semipenultimate (talk) 20:02, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Well, yah. Let's prepare for an alternative scenario. What happens when

  1. FusionGPS is identified as one of the FBI contractors that is guilty of FISA 702 abuse since the fall of 2015;
  2. Joseph Mifsud is confirmed as a Western intelligence asset working for John Brennan;
  3. Papadopoulos is confirmed to have been set up, first by Brennan, later by Mueller;
  4. Comey, Sally Yates, Andrew McCabe, John Carlin, Rod Rosentein, and Dana Boente are all confirmed to have lied to the FISA court;
  5. Michael Flynn's conviction is thrown out.

What then? nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 23:38, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

Motherfucker you have been saying the delay for sentencing was some ridiculous conspiracy, when he was continuing to cooperate with the government, until he changed his legal team, so they didn't use him to testify against his business partner. There isn't a single thing in that report that confirms any of the bullshit your spewing.--RipCityLiberal (talk) 21:26, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Not me. Flynn's lawyers. Read their motion today:
"Mr. Flynn requests that this Court (i) issue an order to show cause why the government should not be held in contempt because of their violation of this Court’s Standing Order and their legal and ethical duties to produce exculpatory and impeachment evidence to the defense; (ii) thereafter find the prosecutors in contempt of this Court’s Brady order; (iii) issue an order to them and to the Department of Justice to preserve all evidence, emails, notes, documents, texts, cell phones—including those of the Special Counsel team—and (iv) order the Department of Justice to produce all evidence the defense requests in our accompanying Motion and any and all other Brady information in the government’s possession. [4] nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 01:47, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Another excerpt from the Flynn motion:

  • "[Andrew] Weissmann and Ms. [Zainab] Ahmad while at DOJ in 2016-17 were working with cp:Bruce Ohr (then the fourth highest ranking member of DOJ) to feed information from his wife Nellie at cp:FusionGPS and British citizen cp:Christopher Steele to the FBI through his secret back-channel. This was happening after the FBI terminated Mr. Steele as a paid informant because he was keeping the press informed of his “findings.” FusionGPS, Steele, and Ms. Ohr were all working for the Clinton campaign. In addition, Ms. Ohr worked for the CIA. The entire operation is further compromised by the fact that the second agent who interviewed Mr. Flynn along with former agent Strzok, was Bruce Ohr’s contact with the FBI and conducted numerous debriefings of Mr. Ohr—passing along to the FBI the corrupted and false information from the Ohrs, Steele, and FusionGPS. That agent may also have joined Special Counsel’s team. Weissmann and Ahmad were not in the DOJ chain of command to be informed by Mr. Ohr at all. They had no legitimate reason to be privy to his operation with FusionGPS and Christopher Steele. Remarkably, despite this involvement, Mr. Weissmann and Ms. Ahmad then went directly to the Special Counsel team, along with Strzok and possibly the second agent, thereby calling into question the entire investigation with their illicit involvement with Ohr and Steele. Closing the circle, Ahmad was co-counsel with Van Grack in the prosecution of Mr. Flynn. It is imperative the defense obtain the Bruce Ohr 302s and notes—unredacted—and all evidence of this circuitous and illicit operation." nobsDie fascists! Mueller report (cont)

  1. Politico Aug 6, 2019: Strzok, the former FBI agent who opened the bureau’s Russia probe [8]
  2. NYT Apr 10, 2019: Barr Asserts Intelligence Agencies Spied on the Trump Campaign. “The question is whether it was adequately predicated." [9]
  3. RCL: "if there was evidence to that fact, it would actually be news." This is the focus of IG FISA abuse investigation. Joe diGenova, former United States Attorney for the District of Columbia when the FISA law took effect said "DOJ inspector general found all four Carter Page FISA warrants were illegally obtained." [10]
  4. See #2
  5. You make an interesting point; why did Mueller/Weissmann not specify what date the criminal investigation began? (it is surreptitiously alluded to on pages 89-90, "On June 14, 2017, when the Washington Post reported that the Special Counsel was investigating the President for obstruction of justice, the President was facing what he had wanted to avoid: a criminal investigation into his own conduct..."). McCabe told 60 Minutes he authorized it "the next day" after Comey's firing. Comey awoke at 3:00 AM after his firing with the spark of an idea: if he leaked the memo where trump said, "I hope you can see your way clear to let this go", he believed he had evidence of a crime - obstruction of justice - which then a Special Counsel could investigate. Sen. Grassley wrote Rosentein on May 17, 2018 [11] stating
The regulations authorizing the appointment of a special counsel state that the Attorney General (or Acting Attorney General) may appoint a special counsel “when he or she determinations that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted.”18 The Appointment Order proscribes the Special Counsel’s jurisdiction by citing specifically “the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017.”19 In his March 20 testimony, former Director Comey referred to “the investigation” as a counterintelligence investigation—not a criminal investigation.
More specifically, section 600.1 states the Attorney General “will appoint a Special Counsel when he or she determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted.” The omitted regulations do not authorize counterintelligence investigations.
So there is some question about the legality of Mueller's appointment from the git-go. Supposedly it was clarified in the August 2017 and October 2017 scope memos, which President Trump has ordered to be declassified and made public.
  1. Comey IG report, pgs. 56-57
  2. See Grassley letter, May 18, 2018, and August and October 2017 scope memos (there is some indication there may be more scope memos). nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 22:35, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

Actually I fucked up in posting it to the Mueller talk page (those scroll ups fucked me up) and I accidentally created double postings . Sorry. Disregard. I think I got it fixed now.
No. This isn't the end-all-to-beat-all.
The simple facts are: a Special Counsel cannot be appointed in a counterintelligence investigation. Grassley called Rosenstein out on the matter. Rosenstein clarified the scope in at least two (August and October 2017) scope memos. Trump came under criminal investigation after the firing of Comey for alleged obstruction of justice. Durham, Barr, and Horowitz are reviewing the basis for the counterintelligence investigation, which looks rather Nixonian. The FISA law was created so that another Nixon or J. Edgar Hoover in the future could ever do what it appears Obama, Brennan, Comey and Clapper did. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 21:09, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

I'm amazed you haven't figured out what happened yet. I'll thumb nail it here, and we'll see if Horowitz, Durham, and Judge Sullivan's order in the Flynn case bare me out.

In mid 2015, Brennan and Dearlove wanted to see Hillary elected. Both feared Trump would demand NATO pay more for its own defense, and Brennan wanted to be reappointed. Furthermore, Brennan knew Trump's chief advisor Flynn knew all about Obama's EO authorizing Hillary and Brennan to arm ISIS. Brennan set up a network that included Halper, a former SVR head named Vyacheslav Trubnikov, Christopher Steele, a mid-level Kremlin bureaucrat who became a CIA asset years earlier while working in Washington by the name of Oleg Smolenkov, and Mifsud, who was used unwittingly.

Trubnikov gave Steele the 'pee-pee' kompromat. Smolenkov supposedly gave Brennan high level information linking Putin to Russian meddling. Smolenkov later was extracted, paid, bought a million dollar home in D.C., and lived with his family under their real names after the Sergei Skripal attempted assassination. Steele's 'pee-pee' memo was used by the Obama DOJ and FBI to get a blanket surveillance warrant on the Trump campaign. Hillary and the DNC paid Steele for the information, who paid Trubnikov, who PIDOOMA'd it. Comey, McCabe, et al knew the information was bullshit before they lied to the FISA court. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 08:16, 15 September 2019 (UTC)

This has Zero to do with Brennan, and nothing to do with HRC and everything to do with the fact that currently a whistle blower is being silenced in the Trump administration, a directive that could only come from the Executive branch.--RipCityLiberal (talk) 15:53, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

a whistle blower is being silenced in the Trump administration, a directive that could only come from the Executive branch
Not really. The situation is the same reason the Horowitz report is taking so long. Whistleblowers "were silenced" during the Mueller probe, and could only be heard after it was completed. Now we have Durham probe. Investigatory material cannot be disclosed to Congress or the public during the coarse of an investigation.
Oh, and Brennan is up to his eyelids; Brennan right now is the chief target of the Durham investigation. The Horowitz IG cp:FISA abuse report will shed more light on how much of a target he is.
And Hillary colluded with Russians to pay for the 'pee-pee' memo; it's been in all the papers. Even CNN, WaPo. and NYT have reported that. nobsDie fascists! Make America Great! 20:26, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

The problem with contradicting Trump is that you'll soon have to do it again, after consequences arise from his mistake and he then invents some bullshit to try and cover for it. Specifically this time around, it's his assertion that the Kurds are letting ISIS prisoners loose to try and draw us back in again. “Europe had a chance to get their ISIS prisoners, but didn’t want the cost. ‘Let the USA pay,’ they said... Kurds may be releasing some to get us involved.” His own words this morning, no dispute possible. Now if you'd gotten on board with the Trump party line like you should have, you'd be nodding vigorously at the suggestion of Perfidious Kurdistan. However since you've recognized abandoning Syria and the allies we've built there as the fool move it is, this evidence-free attempt to slander them might actually register as the desperate spin attempt it is. ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── It's pretty obvious what happened. I'll narrate the story from about 2012 up to opening of Crossfire Hurricane. if anyone wants a source citation for any statement, just ask. All this info is available from mainstream (open source) reporting:

FISA abuse started about June 2012, per FISA Judge Rosemary Collyer. Flynn had a falling out with Brennan, Clapper, and Obama over weapons supply to Syria rebels (which in 2014 became ISIS). The weapons supply was carried out by then CIA director Gen. Petraeus (per NYT). Petraeus was fired over his refusal to go along with the Benghazi cover story. Flynn was fired in 2014 for refusing to accept jihadis as allies in the war against Gadaffi and Assad. But Flynn knew too much. Brennan, Halper, and Mifsud tried to frame him up as a Russian asset to discredit him.

Through FISA 702 abuse (warrantless wiretaps), Brennan knew everything about George Papadopolous by late 2015. By December 2015, Brennan had Mifsud working to compromise both Flynn and Papadopolous.

Now I'll go off the record: In my opinion, Mifsud may have been used as a stooge, who didn't quite fully understand the ramifications of the tasks Brennan asked him to perform. His specialty is really Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, and India. I don't think he really understands European and American politics at the level of the people who used him. Whatever the case, it appears he wants to come clean now, and return to some semblance of a normal life.

If you begin as a broke bum, and your only source of income is the government payroll, and your net worth exceeds paid employment with certain adjustments for living expenses, then there may be cause for an emoluments investigations. However, if you begin as a greedy capitalist, donate a portion of your time to government service, continue capitalist operations employing people, providing services, and paying taxes, and there is no direct conflict of interest between your ongoing business operations and disbursements of public funds and contracts, there should be no cause for alarm.
Let's review the lease for moment: First off, Trump is paying the government rent on the lease; secondly, I'm assuming that it was was not a no-bid contract. And if it were, that wouldn't be Trump's problem, that would be some corrupt murtherfucking idiot in the gubmint (assuming the contract was awarded before Trump donated his valuable time, based on fair market value of his time, to government service. And being that the $450,000 per annum wage scale the gubmint pays the president, Trump would have a deductible loss to offset any gain he supposedly has from employment in government service). nobsNo border! "You cannot deny a person their right to life, liberty and pursuit of property." Just popping in to say that yes you can. That's the entire point of legal and political systems, to judge whether not someone should be able to do something or whether it infringes on the rights of others. Or in other words, that's how the law works Rob. If I were a sadist and my pursuit of the described infringed on the rights of others, it would an should be curbed. Also, as to "...or using his office for personal financial gain." Transcript, Giuliani quotes, and basically almost all his public statements. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 15:23, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
without due process, that is correct. Saying a crime has occurred, or calling a person a criminal is not due process. nobsNo border! No Wall! No USA at All! 18:00, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
Rob, having foreign governments stay at Trump hotels which funnels money into Trump's pockets as a private citizen is a breach of the emoluments clause. The same applies when Trumps own staff rack up $1000 bar-tab at Trumps Florida Estate which is then paid by the taxpayer. Trump is mingling his private businesses with his public responsibility - this is why there is a emoluments clause. Secondly - yes a person has right to life, liberty and pursuit of prosperity within the confines of the law. You have already stated the constitution still applies, you can't have it both ways - either the constitution matters or not. If it does then Trump is restricted, like everyone else, by law on how he is able to pursue prosperity. Acei9 19:25, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
That's just bullshit. If you were familiar with the tax law, you'd know. Was it an emolument when George Washington ran the Executive Branch out of Mount Vernon? Would it be an emolument today if Trump moved Executive Branch operations to Trump Tower? (incidentally, it would be perfectly legal, and he'd be within his rights, to do that). And you still can't deprive a person of life, liberty, or his ability to pursue happiness via income without due process. And blame the criminals, malcontents, and murderers if wanna a bitch about a bar tab for Secret Service. If the taxpayers don't pick up the bar tab, then it's a bribe paid by Trump to the government.
Any disbursement of taxpayer funds requires due diligence. If that due diligence yields the fact that Trump Doral is best dollar spent for the G20, hell, that ain't Trump's fault. That's some other schmuck's fault for not buying Trump Doral first or building a better alternative site.

Rob your argument has two major flaws. Firstly you are equating Trump the president with Trump the private citizen. When Trump is a private citizen (whether the be in 1 year or 5) he can make money anyway he likes (being an ex-president is particularly lucrative) however as the president he is subject to laws other people are not. One of which is emoluments clause but Trump is using the power of the presidency to direct taxpayer money into the accounts of Trump the private citizen. He is also using the power of the presidency to pump foreign money into his private accounts. Both of which violate the emoluments clause. It's as simple as that. The biggest flaw in your argument however is that you know it is wrong because we both know if this was Obama you'd be shouting about corruption across RW and CP. Your hypocrisy as it is destroys your own argument. If it isn't OK for Obama it sure as shit isn't OK for Trump. Acei9 01:23, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

For an emolument, two basic elements must occur: (1) a quid pro quo redounding to some personal financial gain supported by evidence that the transaction (2) would not have occurred in the normal course of business. Actually, third factor would be necessary: proof of performance on the part of the office holder, that the officeholder took some action that was motivated by or the result of such a reward. nobsNo border! No Wall! No USA at All! 02:36, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
No, Rob. That is wrong. The emoluments clause mentions nothing of the sort. You can’t weasel word yourself out this - it’s is as basic as I’ve laid out. Face the facts - you just don’t give a shit because it’s Trump. Acei9 02:43, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
Under your alleged theory, any elected official with a retirement account that has stock in Wal Mart, Microsoft, Office Max, Craft Foods or any other company that does business with the government, is receiving an emolument. nobsNo border! No Wall! No USA at All! 15:45, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
No Rob. That is wrong. The Emoluments Clause covers both foreign governments or the federal government - not private companies. Secondly if an elected official with shares in the above companies were using their powers to enrich themselves through companies that would be called corruption. Why is it me, a NZ citizen, who is schooling you on your own laws? Trump is violating the constitution and you don’t care. I’d respect you more if you just admitted it. Acei9 17:55, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── In fact, most Members of Congress and other elected officials hold stock in companies that regularly do business with the federal, state, and local governments. Your argument is basically anti-entrepreneurial - that because you can see a straight line from the owner of a privately held company to an elected official, therefore he should be forced to liquidate all his interests, place the proceeds in U.S. Treasury notes, and go on the public dole as a civil servant (which incidentally, holds stock in publicly traded companies that do business with the U.S. government in civil service retirement funds). No such law exists in the U.S..

As to the argument that foreign diplomats stay in Trump hotels, you'd still have to prove that (a) a quid pro quo existed; (b) the quid pro quo came about by a corrupt motive (i.e. a conspiracy between participants); (c) that the corrupt motive caused actions to be taken by the foreign government that ordinarily would not have occurred. If Trump Hotels worldwide have established themselves in the competitive market of hosting foreign diplomats, that would be tough to prove.

Granted, investigating the corrupt motives of a foreign government is entirely a subjective issue that the Senate would have to decide in an impeachment trial. OTOH, Members of Congress have historically accumulated vast wealth by investing in defense-related start-up companies (IPO) that produce defense-related technologies marketed to foreign governments (same is true in the biomedical field, but the revenues there primarily come domestically).

Then again, we'd also have to consider really the main issue. Typically, elected officials and high ranking appointed officials place their asset holdings into a blind trust. They refrain from direct management and consultation on decisions, and only receive quarterly financial reports. There is no law mandating this, but it has become the accepted practice to avoid the appearance of conflict of interest (btw, insider trading rules only apply to Wall Street bankers and brokers, not Congressional members or staffers). In the case of Donald Trump, whose assets primarily consist of real estate and ongoing businesses, not stock in publicly traded companies, Trump has turned over management of his affairs to a trustee, is son Donald Jr.. Now, someone may argue there is the appearance of a conflict of interest there, but that again would be hard to prove, given there is no law mandating this accepted practice in the first place. To go after the Trumps on these grounds would affect every member of congress and their staffs, that have used blind trusts and circumvention of insider trading rules to pad their own pockets. None, I suspect, are interested in upsetting the apple cart. nobsNo border! No Wall! No USA at All! 18:24, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

No Rob, that is wrong. The emoluments clause says nothing about a quid pro quo and doesn’t relate to the Stockmarket or private enterprise - it relates to taxpayer money and foreign money. It is as simple as I laid out: Firstly you are equating Trump the president with Trump the private citizen. When Trump is a private citizen (whether the be in 1 year or 5) he can make money anyway he likes (being an ex-president is particularly lucrative) however as the president he is subject to laws other people are not. Your hypocrisy as it is destroys your own argument. If it isn't OK for Obama it sure as shit isn't OK for Trump. Acei9 18:53, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
Your argument falls apart based on the fact that civil service retirement funds have money in multinational (i.e. foreign) stocks. As you say, a quid pro quo isn't needed - the fact McDonalds does business in China and federal pension funds hold McDonalds stock is enough.
Leftist street activists can bitch about emoluments, but when push comes to shove, I'd be amazed to see it even be an Article of Impeachment. And if so, that will be a wild ride in the Senate. My guess is they would dismiss the charge out of hand. OTOH, some Senators may wish to focus on these abuses and reforms, and allow Trump lawyers to present a defense. I can't think of one Democrat Senator who would rise to criticize these accepted practices. If Liz Warren or Bernie Sanders tried to push Emoluments (remember, Trump's assets are in real estate, not Wall Street), they'd have their asses handed to them by Democratic Congressional and party leadership. nobsNo border! No Wall! No USA at All! 19:12, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

Rob, you are still wrong. The clause refers to taxpayer money or from a foreign state - not from stocks or private investments. I’m tired of repeating myself. Trump used his position to accept money from the taxpayer which isn’t part of his salary and from foreign heads if state - both violate the emoluments clause. Hunter Biden is not a federal employee and neither is Don Jnr so that’s just a dumb red herring. Also your own hypocrisy destroys your own argument. Just be a man and admit it. Acei9

"taxpayer money from a foreign state" Think about that for a minute and try clarifying what you mean. (Not sure who brought the phrase up or what it's suppose to mean).
Ok. Here's the wording:
no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
An emolument is basically grease. The meaning today is the same as in 1789. Trump's not the first office holder that this clause has ever been discussed. A fee for service is not grease. Conversely, a payment for service 500% above fair market value from a foreign entity (or even domestic) in a community property state paid to a spouse looks like grease. nobsNo border! No Wall! You guys have it bad comparably. NZ is more expensive but the service is brilliant. A few years ago we started a huge fibre-obtic network which starts with smaller towns first. I think it's ATT. Been a long time since I had a landline. Comcast/Xfinity run all the cable connections. The problem is the zoning laws in this town - you can get anything zoned any way you want with enough money. A previous owner evidently had this place zoned commercial and Xfinity will not change it and give a residential contract. I've been paying commercial rates for 2 years, about twice as much, and am tired of arguing with them about it. So I'm looking for a smaller company to give me a dish on roof with a modem inside, but it still costs about the same as Xfinity. nobsEpstein didn't kill himself 02:48, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
@Ace McWicked We have fiber optic internet in this country too, it's usually installed by the landline companies, but there's also companies like Google Fiber and Crown Castle available in limited areas. I don't live in a city and I could get a dedicated fiber connection run to my house, I'd just have to pay a huge price for it. 2607:FB90:928B:DAF7:0:1A:45BD:9801 (talk) 03:13, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
@RobSmith, see what AT&T offers where you live. You may even be able to get fiber through them like Ace was talking about, and unlike my situation where they'd have to run the line from two streets over, it might actually be affordable. 2607:FB90:928B:DAF7:0:1A:45BD:9801 (talk) 03:17, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

Considering there was a 20% margin of error in the dating, I'll stand corrected. However the question of Muhammad's gay pedophilia remains hotly contested. Shi'ism and the Ayatollah's appear to be supportive. Whatever the case, the Taliban risks going against several Islamic and Afghan cultural traditions, whereas the American military under its Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama allegedly is tolerant. What, what? Who said the prophet Muhammad was a gay pedophile? I never heard of anyone saying that. I similarly haven't heard about the stuff you cite with the Shias. Even if it is true, the Shias and the Taliban hate each other anyway, and their being at each other's throats as inevitable. Also, PBS [htt ps://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/dancingboys/ says] the practice was "recently revived" which implies that it formerly was far less of a problem.𝔖𝔲𝔪𝔪𝔞 𝔄𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔬𝔩𝔬𝔤𝔦𝔠𝔞 (𝔮𝔲𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔩𝔦𝔰) (𝔰𝔠𝔯𝔦𝔭𝔱𝔲𝔯𝔞) 22:29, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
The Muhammad article makes a passing reference to it. The Ayatollah Khomeini is said have stated in 1979,
A man can quench his sexual lusts with a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. Sodomizing the baby is halal (allowed by sharia). If the man penetrates and damages the child, then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however, does not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl’s sister. It is better for a girl to marry when her menstruation starts, and at her husband's house rather than her father's home. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven [13]
and has bee accused of marrying a 4 year old girl. [14] I dunno, maybe it's just a Sunni/Saudi plot. nobsEpstein didn't kill himself 21:27, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

all hail mother russia. EK (talk) 12:10, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

The reason Democrats are so xenophobic about Russia is because Putin punked Obama three times:

  1. Putin punked Obama before he was president in the Summer of 2008 when Putin moved into Abkhazia. As the whole planet knows, the best time for an aggressive power to take an agressive action is in a U.S. Presidential election year when Americans will be divided about how to respond. Obama said about Abkhazia the U.S. should take Russian aggression to the United Nations, where Russia can veto a resolution, thus exposing (a) Obama didn't know a goddamn thing about world, (b) nobody on Obama's staff understood a goddamn thing about the planet, and (c) Obama, justifiably so, considered anyone listening to him to be a total idiot.
  2. Putin punked Obama when he moved into Crimea after Obama overthrew the democratically elected president of Ukraine; and
  3. Putin punked Obama when he aided Syria after Obama withdrew from Iraq and armed ISIS to overthrow Assad.

Given the fact Putin so thoroughly exposed Obama for the charlatan he is, Obamaites hated Putin and considered him a bigger threat than the Chinese Communist Party, tried to destroy Flynn and Trump, and we're living with the consequences today.

As the whole planet now sees the world as Gen. Flynn does - the CCP threat - the US and Russia will naturally grow closer together. nobsFree Roger Stone! 02:16, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Highly unlikely, given that isn't Putin's goal. He already has treaties with the PRC, and weakening the US, even indirectly, helps Russia's status on the world stage. Of course, it also helps the PRC's status, a fact that both Xi and Putin are all too aware of. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 02:25, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
The CCP and Russia are not natural allies. Russia seeks to be a Western power. China has essentially attacked the entire world. nobsFree Roger Stone! 02:37, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Nonsense. While the PRC has become more economically aggressive as of late, it's hardly "attacking the entire world". It's just engaging in shadely lending to entrap African nations into dept in order to basically turn them into proxy states so they can exploit the continent's vast mineral reserves and use them as fodder for their economy so they can turn around and manufacture cheap goods like electronics in order to undercut European and US manufacturing and thus realign the global economy to predominantly benefit their nation rather than their rivals, Russia and the US. Russia is pulling similar schemes in the Middle East and the US is engaging in such schemes on almost every continent. And Russia doesn't want to be a Western power. They hate the West. Russia wants to be a Russian power, obviously. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 02:55, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Treaties? The CCP signed a new trade deal treaty with the U.S. on the same day their stooges in the World Health Organization informed the planet it had nothing to fear from the Covid virus cause Chinese communist "scientists" told them it was non-transmissible. Of coarse World GDP is only down about 8 or 10% since then, so what's an honest mistake among scientists and bureaucrats, huh? nobsFree Roger Stone! 10:20, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Pre-Covid? Rob, there is no per-crisis era in international politics. They're still playing the exact same game, just with increased stakes at the moment. "Incidentally, your Chinses Communist buddies will cut your heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys out with no anesthesia while you're still alive on the operating table if you're gay married or advocate gay marriage." Oh. Rob. Even after all this time you think I'm an actual Communist? And you think that the PRC, which is basically just capitalism if an authoritarian state ran it, is Communist? LOL!!! Are you really so unable to step outside of your worldview? Also, you didn't answer my question below. If there is no difference between various leftist schools of thought (please continue to ignore leftwing anti-statists like Anarchists) then is there no difference between rightwingers? Are Nazis and Conservatives one and the same? Or is it just the side that you don't like that gets lumped together and Othered?
"The days of fools like Obama seeking Xi Jinping's blessing on climate change are gone for ever." Given Obama first ran for a major public office in 1997, and Xi only rose to power in 2012 at the earliest, it's a little hard for Obama to be a Manchurian candidate. Also, Obama is still a NeoLiberal who favors Capital over Labor. "Do you think (a) such stories are appropriate for children in drag queen story hour, and" Do you think such a response bang hop banana split? Well, do you?
"it'll be a return to business as usual between the CCP, the US, EU, and Russian Federation in coming months and the next two years?" That "business as usual" attitude never vanished. We can't "return" to something if we never left it. "Treaties? The CCP signed a new trade deal treaty with the U.S. on the same day their stooges in the World Health Organization informed the planet it had nothing to fear from the Covid virus cause Chinese communist "scientists" told them it was non-transmissible." Rob, there's a lot to unpack here. So, yes the PRC lied in order to put up a strong front on the international scene. They then threatened and bribed most of their scientists into keeping quiet. By the way, a number of academics in the PRC who defied that order are now missing, and probably rotting in shallow graves. Fun fact. As for the treaties, um... That's literally what international politics is about. When they aren't violating international law and invading countries under false pretenses in order to do war crimes and serve private interests. And also when they aren't inflicting predatory loans on economically vulnerable nations in order to entrap them into borderline slavery. "Of coarse World GDP is only down about 8 or 10% since then, so what's an honest mistake among scientists and bureaucrats, huh?" Rob, the entire global economy almost crashed at least twice so far. That's hardly the minor dip you're making it out to be. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 18:23, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Stepping outside my worldview momentarily, oddly this video, The show China doesn't want you to see dated Jan 16, 2020 - a week before the pandemic was made public, came up on autoplay. So I checked Wikipedia, which says in its Intro,
The performances have received criticism for promoting sectarian doctrines and negative views toward evolution, atheism, and homosexuality, as well as being "filled with cult messages".[6][7][8]
So, watching this 14 minute video and reading the Shen YunWikipedia article, it appears WP has become a big mouthpiece for Chinese communist propaganda. nobsFree Roger Stone! 01:25, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Did you actually watch all 14 minutes of the video? NTD say WP's Shen Yun article is probably edited daily by the Chinese 50 cent army. Do you see the susceptibility of WP readers (or even RW's) to Chinese Marxist propaganda? If I were a dedicated advocate of evolution, atheism, and homosexuality, I'd be awfully angry and frightened about manipulation by people who are more interested in totalitarianism and political power than my pet interests, in an effort to deceive me and my ideological cohorts by attacking my political opponents. After squashing critics of evolution, atheism, and homosexuality. you know you'd be first on the table to have your heart and lungs cut out by the CCP, if history is any guide. nobsFree Roger Stone! 01:55, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

That's actually related to a question I've had for a week or so now. With the lockdown, Times Square is empty, or at least emptyish and devoid of tourists. The trains are empty. The parks are empty. What's happening with the homeless? They beg everyone that passes by for a few dollars in order to grab a bite to eat or (or, yes, drugs). That's stopped. So what are the homeless doing now? CoryUsar (talk) 21:52, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
The homeless are in serious trouble. It's a group that generally is not very well informed, doesn't pay attention to news, have underlying health conditions that place them at risk (alcoholism and drug addiction weaken immune protections), live in crowded unsanitary conditions, and generally are not very responsive to governmental directions. At the pace this virus travels, it could wipe out the homeless community before any single member was alerted or educated to the danger. nobsFree Roger Stone! 23:25, 19 March 2020 (UTC)

You know, it's always scary standing on the precipice when you know that many people are about to die due to war, plagues, pestilence, etc. Thus far, in my estimation, most deaths in the U.S. are likely among registered Democrats, due to ignorance and blind loyalty to a Democrat-controlled fake news media. However, communists killing off their own supporters doesn't necessarily cancel out Democrat vote stealing and election fraud. It may have some impact longterm on lowering dependency on government funds, assuming pre-election welfare handouts do not continue after November.

Two points. One, the Dems don't want to do any of that. Hell, their leadership barely wants to oppose Trump. Secondly, that's not how Communism works Rob. Social Security? in a limited sense, yes. And Communist Chinese genocidal one child policy now is faced with the problem of not enough young people to take care of an aging population.
If you read Lenin's Leftwing Communism: An Infantile Disorder, you can get insight into these issues. Communism, as exercised by the CCP and so-called "science advocates", gives political power to technocrats. The result often is the eternal threat of nuclear war or a deadly pandemic escaping from a lab.
Basically, the political Left can be defined as juveniles being exploit by elderly cynics, such as Bernie Sanders. Few "Leftists" survive into middle age. Most mature and grow up. But "Leftwing" ideology, rhetoric, programs, proposals, and thinking is juvenile. nobsFree Roger Stone! 21:34, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
Obviously we're led by Bernie, what with him not being the nominee and all. The word you're actually looking for is 'idealistic', in that we have ideals that we want to see reflected in society. Ideals like 'businesses shouldn't be able to use their great size and power to abuse their employees or customers', a short sharp end of which you bumped into recently with your internet provider but have learned fuck-all from. This contrasts with the currant occupant's ideal, 'Everyone but me can go fuck themselves' - about as childish as you can get, very similar to the little run-away-mad tantrums he has when he gets asked a question he doesn't like. It has nothing whatsoever to do with concern for betterment of humankind. nobsFree Roger Stone! 01:54, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
No Rob, That's authoritarian state socialism. More specifically, the Maoist and Stalinist models, both of which promised that such a state would eventually transition into Communism. Rob, again, you are incorrect. Stalin and Mao were authoritarian Socialists who lied about their goals, Obama is a NeoLiberal, AOC and Sanders are both Social Democrats, and Warren is something of a hybrid between NeoLiberalism and Social Democracy. Whatever one may think of Falun Gong, it's undeniable as of March 1, 2020 that the CCP harvested organs of Falun Gong practitioners, per the International China Tribunal [21] (odd, how Covid news kinda overshadowed the scheduled China Tribunal Report, huh?). So this term "cult" has been implanted to prejudice people's minds for 20 years, just as the idea "free trade" being synonymous with "democracy" was implanted in minds for the past 35 years. 2020 has been a year of Awakening for people of whatever political stripe. ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── I freely confess, from 1985 on I was perfectly willing to ship jobs to China in exchange for destroying labor unions loyal to the Democratic party and cheap-ass made goods from Dollar General and Walmart. I was wrong. Dead wrong. Seriously dead wrong. My come-to-Jesus moment only came after Trump was inaugurated (note "inaugurated" not "elected") and I saw he was serious about confronting China, rather than mollifying them, pacifying them, and continue deceiving the American public about building prosperity with Chinese slave labor, which Democrats and Republicans have done for the past 20 years. nobsFree Roger Stone! 04:44, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

The only thing that ever worried me since Trump was elected was when Alan Greenspan called Trump's tariffs "insane". What does that mean? Greenspan took into consideration that the CCP might retaliate with bioweapons, and Trump didn't. It also reveals Trump and Greenspan both understood who and what America was dealing with, and what America hitched its future economic, social, and political destiny to. nobsFree Roger Stone! 05:04, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
IOWs, over the span of two decades, accelerated in the past 3 years and now moreso in the past three months, advocates of so-called "unregulated free trade capitalism" have totally flipped seeing how it has redounded to the benefit of Communist Chinese slave masters and human rights violators. So now we have Western leftists advocating unregulated free trade capitalism, and conservatives clamoring for global restraints on free trade and capitalism to reign-in immoral greedy communist capitalists. nobsFree Roger Stone! 21:17, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Three points. 1, the tariffs are insane because businesses pass the cost of them along to consumers, period. I can explain this simple process to you if necessary! 2, the phrase 'communist capitalists' is literal nonsense. 3, interesting how you talk abut Democrats and Republicans but never actually seem to hold the -businesses- responsible for their actions and decisions. No, you blame China for making the exploitation possible while exempting those taking immoral, unethical advantage of it from any criticism whatsoever. Semipenultimate (talk) 18:15, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
American Consumers are responsible for expanding Chines Communist slave labor. I can explain the process if necessary. Interesting how a few years ago the Left opposed free trade and the surveillance state. Now the Left, led by their Chinese Communist allies, "unregulated free trade capitalism" and the surveillance state. Hell, China doesn't have to abide by international treaties, norms, and customs. And their proxy, the World Health Organization, doesn't have to abide by its own regulations. See the Progress we've made since FDR conceived his Grand design for the U.N. and its subsidiary organizations? And use the word 'Progress' in the same sense progressives use it. nobsFree Roger Stone! 13:17, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
Rob, you're so close! Seriously, you're very close to the truth. Yes, US consumer culture has fueled the PRC's rapid economic growth. This is partly due to the PRC acting as an economic honey trap and partly due to corporations being fundamentally unable to care about their workers. So rather than trying to fight US labor laws, they simply move their factories and mines and whatnot overseas to countries that will let them get away with human rights abuses. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 13:31, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
Remember the maxim of late-stage American capitalism, nobs: employ as few people at the lowest wages anywhere in the world you can get them. Businesses exist to make shareholders rich, full stop. If your employer believed they could get away tomorrow with cutting your wages by 90%, they'd do it in a heartbeat. The payment of human beings for their labor is a side effect of this, not a goal. If it were possible, businesses would employ no actual humans at all, or else redefine what 'employment' is (see: Uber etc.) to fink out of any kind of responsibility re: usual and standard benefits structures. Again, the profit motive without concern for ethics or morality is what led us here. Semipenultimate (talk) 17:54, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
Businesses exist to make shareholders rich, full stop.
So if greed is the sole motivating factor behind corporate law, alternatively what should a single human being do whose sole craft and training consists of being a rag-picker? In the course of a lifetime of picking rags out of the city dump, the individual invents a hydraulic lift which theoretically can be put on garbage trucks to make his job easier, not motivated by any sense of greed. How does he reap the reward for his effort to make his job easier, and as a spinoff by-product, the lives of future generations of rag-pickers? (his 'greed' evidently led to their unemployment). How does communist society intend to put a stop to this kind of social progress and greed without transferring power and assets to to itself (a clique of societal managers)? nobsFree Roger Stone! 20:27, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
Lovely how this individual creates this hydraulic lift on their own. Oh, let's say they open up a small factory in a friend's garage, building them by hand. This is a good thing! They make a quality product, but they can't make enough. So they buy a factory. This is a good thing! Then there's a downturn and they need help. Then the venture capitalists and investors 'help'. THIS IS WHERE THE BAD THING HAPPENS. Then they export the factory overseas, fire all the American employees, the quality goes to shit, and the price goes up. Businesses operating without a vested human interest in what they do - i.e. big business - is the problem since they don't give a loose shit about America yet Republicans kiss their ass. Also you are the only motherfucker here talking communism; we are in fact talking about the bus-sized holes in Capitalism right now that the unlimited-corporate-power fans got us into. Do you need me to say Communism bad, nobs? Yes, Communism bad, in the same way all government led by singular central authority without checks or balances on power are fucking rotten, can we move past your hard-on now please? Semipenultimate (talk) 15:20, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
You're missing the point on businesses, by which I assume you mean corporations, motivated by greed. In most nearly all instances, they motivated by necessity and improvements in efficiency. All with a purpose to solve a problem in society. You sound like the conspiracy theorists who say Dr. Faucci opposes hydroxychloriquine cause it's been in use for 80 years and the cost is cheap, whereas the demand for a cure (like cancer or AIDS) requires tremendous amounts of expensive research on a patent Dr. Faucci owns. nobsFree Roger Stone! 04:36, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
OK, let's address your Fauci patent lie first. Wonder where you heard it? Also, could one of you hydroxians please go conduct a SINGLE statistically-significant double-blind hydroxychloroquine experiment so you can have some facts backing up your fucking anecdotes? Or don't; you've never needed facts to assert Hillary's Death List as a factual thing, and it's not like you rely on scientific evidence to make your health choices anyway, so go nuts. Now that's out of the way, we can address your asinine assertion that corporations exist to 'solve problems'. The one problem corporations solve is the lack of money in their investors' pockets. If they can get away with providing you shit for your money, more's the better, more's the profit. 'Efficiency' does not factor in ethical or moral decisions; it was 'efficient' for corporations to export factory jobs overseas, as you have yourself stated is a bad thing; it was 'efficient' for Uber to redefine work to not include benefits or formal employment; it's 'efficient' for your ISP to throttle your bandwidth as much as they can get away with. They are not your friends. So why do you continue to not hold corporations responsible for their choices to export jobs overseas? It wasn't them, you say, it was the Efficiency that exported all those jobs overseas, aided by government! The poor corporation's hands were tied, you see? Nice response. Your're talking points are about a century out of date. We have progressed and enjoyed progressiveism since then. Did you cut and paste your divisive and hate-filled response from the DNC or the CCP, or the merger of the two? nobsFree Roger Stone! 20:13, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
I almost hesitate to ask, nobs, but what Italian death panels are you talking about and what is your source for this claim? ScepticWombat (talk) 07:32, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
The commie/left-leaning Snopes rates the claim Mixture; "Italy hasn't abandoned elderly patients to die. Instead, Italian health care workers, when faced with more patients than available equipment and capacity to treat them, may possibly be forced to prioritize treatment of those with the highest likelihood of surviving long-term." nobsFree Roger Stone! 00:48, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

Nobs, this is a process called triage, and has been used in situations of overwhelming crisis to evaluate where limited resources should be applied. It's been practiced since the beginning of time on the battlefield, and has recently been honed via science and analysis for mass-casualty situations like earthquakes. It is possible to mis-apply triage, in the way health insurance companies do. It is one thing to triage because of limited resources that cannot meet everyone's needs, and quite another to limit resources deliberately in order to ensure a maximum of profit at a minimum of care expense. Powerless my ass Rob. I don't really give that much of fuck about your home site. I really don't. I just wanted to point out Ken's intellectual laziness. Two points: (1) I've advocated a civility policy and reform of the mob in RW for a longtime; but I can't vote for RW's bowing to CCP's censorship rules and putting the maintenance of social order above public safety and health. Voting against it is a vote for the status quo and mob. How many other users share this view? (2) The CP old guard, now with the possible exception of Ken, go apeshit at the mention of RW. While it may be counterproductive, on the hand you can't blame them. And I'm not stepping in this doo doo again. nobsFree Roger Stone! 02:26, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Key difference there is that Obama was unmasking powerful criminals in the Trump campaign caught conversing with Russian agents about their efforts to compromise the US election, and Trump is stamping on the faces of powerless people for graffiti in order to desperately try and secure votes. But hey, I'll make you a deal! Let's engage in a thought exercise! Recall the literal millions of dollars in damages caused when Cliven Bundy and co. took over the Malheur Wildlife Preserve that far exceeds Chad Wolf's litany of bullshit ('Violent anarchists trespassed on federal property and destroyed a card reader at the Justice Center', clutch m'pearls!) You also seem to forget how LaVoy Finicum had waited his entire life to draw down with FBI agents and even wrote a little bit of fantasia about how badass he would be when civilization all fell apart. He spoke very frequently about how he would not be taken alive. He tried, on camera, to draw down. He kept reaching for his firearm, and consequently he was shot to avoid other people being shot BY him. You should be grateful he was given time to surrender after getting out of the car; he had way more time to comply than Tamir Rice, and you're fine with what happened to him, after all. Semipenultimate (talk) 18:18, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Why did Obama and Comey send their gestapo goons out there to harass and kill innocent protesters? It was the same governor after all, Killer Kate, who asked for them that now sees no problem with rioting, looting, burning, and beating innocent civilians? Clive and Bundy's didn't do anything like that. nobsTo Bob Mueller: Every dog has his day. 19:07, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Again, LaVoy Finicum was drawing down on officers after a chase and attempted roadblock evasion. This is on video but I get that you need your martyrs in order to gin up more rage. If he was an unarmed black man shot in the back by police you'd be howling about how he should have known better. As you state, per your own beliefs, the destructive occupation of a federal structure justifies sending in armed federal agents to take out the protestors. You cannot deny the Bundys did multiple millions in damage to the reserve; it's been documented. Per your own beliefs, nobs, Obama would have been wholly justified under your exact same criteria to charge in guns blazing and disperse the wild anarchists. Deny this and lose all yada yada. Semipenultimate (talk) 22:21, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Not that he did - apart from Finicum trying to gun down federal agents, the rest of Y'all Qaeda got tired of trashing the refuge and point long rifles at cops day-in-day-out for weeks and then dispersed. It works fine from here. You can use https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ to check whether a site is down or whether it's just your local issue. The evil libruls who control the innertubes may have throttled your neck of the woods. Bongolian (talk) 18:28, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

I've had a tedious load of nonsense I had to do until finally finishing right before August, and and I was hoping to head back to CP to contribute a massive amount of content; I was still able to edit despite the 500 ISEs and 504 Bad Gateways, which probably had triggered the CCP cronies and their commie hacker pals such that they just decided to outright bring down the server in some way; what I have no idea on is why it says "Access to this page is forbidden." RobSmith, does that pop-up show up for you as well? LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 20:06, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
RobSmith, can you also try to email some of the other CP users and ask what's going on, such as whether they are blocked off from access to the site, and if so, whether it's a "403 - Forbidden" pop-up? Thanks! LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 04:08, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

Will Dataclarifier be alright?

Hi RobSmith, since you've been on CP far longer than I have and thus have talked with Dataclarifier there for a while, do you suppose he'll be alright? Usually when CP functions normally and I see him on there with any type of activity, I get a huge relief to know that he's at least okay enough to edit there. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 14:41, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

I think Dataclarifier hung himself on the Debate: Is the Roman Catholic doctrine of grace biblical? page pretty good. I've no need to challenge him on specific points anymore. The more he posts, the more he discredits everything he believes in. I'm probably going to just leave it at that cause readers have enough spam to dig though to understand what he's talking about. May God have mercy on his soul. nobsBlack Guns Matter 15:31, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
What do you mean that "he discredits everything he believes in"? He seems like a genius when it comes to Scripture! LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 15:36, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
If you follow the Debate in context, when he said Romans 11:6 (But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace) contradicts itself, the whole debate on Catholic doctrine is pretty well over (it was a Perry Mason moment). As well as his "expertise" on scripture. No need to pick it apart or ask for clarification. Let the record stand. nobsBlack Guns Matter 15:44, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

I'm still getting 403's. I don't quite understand; why would it say that I'm forbidden from accessing the page? I'd understand if it read "500 - Internal Server Error", but pop-ups reading "Access to this page is forbidden." more so seem as if I'm blocked by the site owner, and I exactly don't see a reason for that. Also, is it possible that Andy or some other admins locked access and provided an IP/range whitelist that doesn't include my location? LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 15:54, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

403 Error.png
LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 15:35, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
@LT: I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned before, but even putting aside the absurdity of the suggestion, I think we can be confident this has nothing to do with Biden or the DNC nor the CCP or whatever anyone wants to claim, it's almost definitely coming from Conservapedia. See Conservapedia#403 errors, it's something that they've been doing for at least 10 years. For a while, they seemed to decide to block anyone not in the US, I know I couldn't access it in NZ. I guess they've gotten less restrictive now, but it still looks a lot like something from Conservapedia. I would note Conservapedia, like most of the web now largely enforces HTTPS. If you visit Conservapedia via HTTPS (https://conservapedia.org) it shouldn't be possible for anyone but Conservapedia to serve you content given the MITM difficulties, with very rare exceptions where someone has managed to convince a CA to issue one (and believe me, if anyone did this would be massive news) and even for that possibility you could always check the certificate yourself. So you know it has nothing to do with Biden or whatever, the 403 is coming from Conservapedia. By Conservapedia I mean whoever has the private key to their certificates and access to whatever servers they use to serve content. If they're so worried and competent, I'm sure that this should only be people they trust and definitely not Biden or the DNC or the CCP. Note that although there was a fair amount of trolling and misuse of Conservapedia in the past which may have been part of the reason for the block, it was still a stupid block. There was no real reason to 403 access to the whole site. A remotely competent site admin should have been able to kill all editing from undesirably IPs be they non American or whatever, while allowing people to still access the content. 403ing may have helped slightly with DDoS, but in reality probably not much since you still have to serve the 403. (Assuming you trust your routers not to collapse, you could serve the 403s from a different server and do other such things but then again you could also serve the content from other servers, and probably other things I can't think of. But I'm fairly sure most competent sys admins would suggest 403ing is only likely to have limited benefits with DDoS, especially doing it when there are no DDoS attempts since if it matters, any attacker is just likely to find IPs which aren't blocked. You've given them ample opportunity to find out which IPs to use before they expend resources.) Maybe more importantly, AFAIK any major DDoSing (which I disagree with even more) only happened after the 403s had already started. Nil Einne (talk) 14:25, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
I maybe should also mention that given all the above and the way Conservapedia has been run in the past, I would be hardly surprised if they decided to 403 anyone who's editing whoever in charge (is it still Schlafly?) no longer welcomes rather than just using an ordinary block and telling the person, to go away, even before any evasion was attempted. Maybe to the extent of not bothering to tell the person directly they're no longer welcome and intentionally leaving them in confusion with the sudden 403s. (And again, even with evasion they could still block the IP from editing without blocking the IP from accessing.) Nil Einne (talk) 14:30, 27 August 2020 (UTC)

LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 14:41, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Nil, from what I know they use shared hosting. You usually can't IP block specific IPs on those due to a myriad of reasons. Question about SSCI

Hi RobSmith, since you're an expert on topics related to the Deep state, what do you know about the SSCI and the specifics about the members of the select committee? I'm aware of the corruption of Burr and Warner, though what about some of the others, such as Collins, Rubio, Bennet, and Wyden? Thanks! LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 15:16, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Do you read CTH (Conservativetreehouse?) [22] They call the SSCI the heart of the swamp or uniparty. And there is good evidence for that.
When it was first founded as a "Watergate reform" in the 70s, and even in the 80s at the time of Iran-Contra, it consisted of 4 members, two GOP & two Dems. Now it's much larger, and the problems of FISA abuse and domestic spying seem to be an outgrowth of this expansion. This is the Committee with oversight of the NSA, CIA, and FBI cointel; this is the same Committee John Brennan hacked into their computers to thwart the Bush era Torture investigation that he was deeply involved in. Feinstein made a bit of a fuss, but Obama and Harry Reid killed the scandal. And it was at that same time, we now know from a declassified FISA court ruling, Obama and Brennan began an extensive abuse of the FISA database on domestic opponents.
There's another aspect of SSCI uniparty corruption and FISA abuse that only now is being suspected; much of this illegal domestic spying may not be political at all, but rather related to Wall Street insider trading and surveillance of corporate CEOs on merger acquisitions etc. for the benefit of the uniparty and deep state republicans and democrats.
Laws that were intended to fight terrorism, drug cartels, and foreign intelligence agencies, under Obama were applied against political opponents and journalists with no oversight from SSCI. Sen. Feinstein's public criticism Brennan, and Sen. Wyden's criticism of Clapper all has been quickly forgotten. The evidence seems to suggest both Republican and Democrat members of the SSCI have been complicit in abusing FISA authority, possibly for their own enrichment, either monetarily or for political advantage, or both. nobsBlack Guns Matter 16:04, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Right, Marco "We can say, without any hesitation, that the Committee found absolutely no evidence that then-candidate Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian government to meddle in the 2016 election" Rubio is in league with George Soros and his satanic pedo army, you betcha. You'd look at a video of Trump fucking your wife and be at pains to find any evidence of wrongdoing; a blurry photo of Obama's wedding ring or a weird word choice in a tweet, though? BAM, instant proof of massive conspiracy. Semipenultimate (talk) 18:31, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Look at the timeline. It's fairly obvious Rubio was involved in coup. Vice Chair Mark Warner tried to make contact with Christopher Steele thru Adam Waldman for the purposes of witness tampering in April 2017. That evidence did not become public until October 2017 - after Mueller's appointment, the FISA renewal, Papadopoulos arrest, and Flynn being charged. It was fairly obvious something was awry. Chairman Burr was unconcerned, was doing nothing to investigate the origins or veracity of the Steele dossier. and Rubio waved off Vice Chair Warner's witness tampering and obstruction of justice as "old news".

Now some say Rubio hasn't come to terms with Trump the way Cruz, Graham, Rand Paul, or Scot Walker have after the 2016 primaries; there may be an element of that, but we don't see Rubio's support for Trump's treatment of Cuba either which supposedly is Rubio's (like Cruz) big issue. All this points to the SSCI being run now as it was under Burr, only Rubio's hands, as of yet, are nowhere near as dirty. Little Marco can't be trusted. nobsBlack Guns Matter

Ah, thanks for the analysis on Little Marco Rubio. I'm just really curious, what about Sen. Collins? Does she play a major role in the deep corruption of the SSCI as evident with Burr and Warner? Also, did Lindsey Graham only subpoena some Deep staters a while ago because he might be facing a tougher re-election fight? He's constantly breaking with Trump on important issues and consistently lacks reliability, especially with his refusal to subpoena Obama. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 03:02, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Collins is chair of Joe McCarthy's old committee, the PSI, and hasn't played any role that I'm aware. I'd take the fact that' she has been notably absent among Trump's critics during the Mueller probe as a positive sign. Lindsey's another case. McCain was up to ears in the coup, in fact leading the GOP side of it (he, like Obama, Hillary, and Brennan, were deeply involved in the Libya, Syria, and ISIS fiasco. It was this series of events why the Deep State wanted to take out Gen. Michael Flynn, cause he knew captured weapons from Libya were used to arm the groups that became ISIS. That's why Americans were in Benghazi during the Benghazi massacre - they were loading ships and aircraft with captured Libyan weapons for shipment to the Turkish border to arm al Qaeda-related groups to overthrow Assad. (Using captured weapons by-passes Congressional authorization for giving American aid and more people knowing about it). Obama and Hillary's terrorist allies turned on Americans and murdered Americans. The Pentagon was out of the loop. It was a Hillary (State Dept.), Brennan (CIA), and White House (Obama) operation. When Flynn got wind of the plan, he opposed it (some of the weapons ended up in Afghanistan to kill Americans). Flynn got railroaded out, and later told candidate Trump all about it. The initial target of Russiagate was Flynn (through a plan executed by Brennan and Stefan Halper). Lindsey knows all this, and has been part of it until two events - death of McCain and the Kavanaugh smear. Out from under McCain's shadow, he's supposedly his own man now. But he's as committed to exposing the whole truth as much as he's committed to covering his own butt. Conversely, you also have to look at it through Hillary, Brennan, and Obama's perspective as well; they got the goods on Lindsey, so if they go down, he goes down, too. nobsBlack Guns Matter 03:26, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Short digression on a minor Constitutional point: the President, as Commander-in-Chief, has certain legal powers to act "with the advise and consent" of Congress. What does this mean? Most people think it means a vote of the full House and Senate. Not hardly. If the President wants to commit funding and even special operation forces in a covert action, to do it legally it must be bi-partisan under the advise and consent clause. So, just as Nixon got the advise and consent of one Democrat Senator, John Stennis, to invade Cambodia, Obama got the advise and consent from McCain and Lindsey to overthrow Ghadaffi and ship weapons to al-Qaeda (ISIS) to overthrow Assad (everyone involved, Hillary, Sidney Blumenthal, McCain, and/or their friends made money from weapons transport and sales). Lindsey's role made Obama, Brennan, and Hillary's actions legal. Lindsey had every motivation not to expose what Trump and Flynn wanted to expose, hence Lindsey went along with Mueller. Not so much to overthrow Trump, but coverup Obama's foreign policy fiascos. It cost the GOP the House in the 2018 midterms. This is the Deep State in action. Lindsey is compromised, but he's more interested, IMO, in covering his mistakes than being committed to the Uniparty now. nobsBlack Guns Matter 03:40, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Overall, that does make sense regarding Graham, since his recent subpoenas as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee would make it seem like he supports Trump despite past opposition. And do you think he's facing a tough re-election bid this year? He only won his primary with two-thirds of the votes casted (when other moderate Republicans like McConnell and Cornyn had won with at least three-fourths of the vote), and is facing an establishment-backed candidate fundraising and campaigning on an overall disdain for him. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 04:05, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Notice Lindsey never does anything until his hand is forced (usually by Hannity). I have to look into the local South Carolina election closer, but I'd be inclined to say Trump and Lindsey will campaign for each other. And Lindsey's case is also directly related to what I posted below about Trump openly pondering pardons for Assange and Snowden. Today John Solomon raised the question how Comey killed an immunity deal with Assange in April 2017 for Assange to tell his story whether he got DNC emails from Russia or Seth Rich, which adds to the pressure. I'd listen closely for what Lindsey might say about those pardons.
If you have 36 minutes, I recommend highly listening to Attorney Barnes in the video from yesterday. Excellent, excellent presentation of what's happening with the Deep State now, and how this came about. It's worth time invested to gain the broader perspective on everything. There isn't a word or breath he utters that I'd disagree with, with some added insight.
So anyway, if Trump grants some of those pardons, the Deep State war intensifies; if he backs off before the election, there may be a truce. And I'm sure they understand if Trump looses, he'll definitely pardon Snowden and Assange on his way out the door. nobsBlack Guns Matter 04:44, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
That's certainly an interesting take on the matters. I may do some election analyses for the Senate election in South Carolina and really look into some of the polls for it. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 05:07, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
In addition when it comes to the swamp, what do you think about former representative Barbara Comstock? I very recently did a page creation on her on CP, and my political researching found some interesting information. So I had gotten to the subject while looking back into the 2018 U.S. House elections, particularly in Virginia where Republicans then lost three seats, and noticed Comstock to have been defeated for re-election by over 10 points, which seemed quite interesting. She represented the northern Virginia area neighboring the D.C. swamp, and won re-election in 2016 despite Trump losing the district by 10 points. While halfheartedly supportive of Trump's policies during the 115th U.S. Congress, she currently seems to be anti-Trump and pro-establishment when it comes to certain issues. Interesting enough, she's a lobbyist who joined K Street after losing in 2018. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 03:22, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
It's been a lot of years since I heard her name, but I'd have to look into what you've produced in CP when the site comes back up to offer an analysis. nobsBlack Guns Matter 03:40, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
I mostly added information about her voting record in the U.S. House as well as the Virginia House of Delegates using VoteSmart for references, though also some details that provides evidence suggesting her to be an establishment RINO Backer. Comstock voiced opposition to Trump in 2016, although she seemed pleased that Trump had signed a bill of hers into law in early 2017 that encouraged women to pursue STEM careers. Comstock also seemed to be one of those House Republicans in 2018 who thought that it was better to distance from Trump, which certainly wasn't a winning strategy. Now the House seat is held by freshman Democrat Jennifer Wexton, and is expected to be a safe blue hold. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 04:05, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
There's always a quid pro quo, if she got a bill passed, she likely had to vote for something she found otherwise distasteful. Looking at single vote or bill can lead you up a blind ally. And being a suburban D.C. district, she had a lot of voters whose jobs and funding are dependent on big government. GOP leadership would have to cut her a lot more slack than members in other districts just to hold the seat. nobsBlack Guns Matter 05:19, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Yes, that's a good point. Virginia's 10th congressional district seems to be one of those affluent areas full of privileged leftists. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 05:24, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
When CP functions again (hopefully it will very soon), I intend on adding a load of information on the House Republicans who lost re-election in 2018 after distancing from Trump, notably Mike Coffman and Carlos Curbelo. Unfortunately, I can't spend an extremely large effort on that, given not too much time left until the general elections this year and massive updates and page creations needed for the Senate and House elections pages. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 04:13, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

Right now, Trump is attempting to negotiate a truce with the Deep State. They've tried to impale him 3 times now and promise an election fiasco to make the Florida Recount look like a picnic, with all this Post Office bullshit getting highlighted this week. Today was a big day. SSCI Director of Security James Wolfe leaked the Carter Page FISA warrant in early 2017. Wolfe most certainly leaked it on orders from his bosses, U.S. Senators. This created a separation of powers issue - investigating and prosecuting U.S. Senators. Hence Wolfe took the fall. But the purpose of the leak was undermine and remove a sitting President with false and forged information.

Mueller's appointment was not only to cover up Obama DOJ & FBI wrongdoing, the legislative branch's involvement in the coup gave Mueller added support and momentum. nobsBlack Guns Matter 02:33, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

Gender dysphoria, I suggest you read the page. The term is a modernization of the term "Gender identity disorder", which has fallen out of favor as it's not universally regarded as a mental illness but more as a condition. Medical doctors treat it because the near universally recommended solution by psychiatrists is to have people who suffer from it undergo HRT and optionally SRS. We've already moved past Trump. The question now is who will save the country from single-party socialism, Cruz or Rand Paul? nobsSmile, and be friends.. 21:25, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
Cruz would be okay for the most part, though I'd prefer Sen. Paul when it comes to budget and debt, as we owe too much money to countries like China. My main criticism of Paul would be his inclination towards free trade and not being as tough-on-borders as Trump is. Also, because the latter is an anti-establishment libertarian, I'm not sure as to whether he'd be able to perform well in the primaries/caucuses due to lessened support from the neocon lobbyists and donors. LTMay Dataclarifier be well! 21:52, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
Cruz will not fix our debt problem the way Paul will! Rand Paul for prez 2024!!! Unclescrooge (talk) 22:12, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
Among high-level elected Republicans, Paul probably resembles Trump most. Cruz is definitely more conservative and would bring back most of the NeverTrumpers. The challenge would be to consolidate the gains among Blacks and Hispanics, which would or should be priority among whoever Trump's successor would be. A failure to focus and continue this fight of dismembering the Democrat party I'd certainly view as a betrayal. nobsSmile, and be friends.. 22:17, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

So while everyone was asleep, Michigan Democrats found 138,339 votes and all 138,339 votes magically went to Biden.

No Rob. No. AceModerator 00:45, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

It was a typo, per the NYT. Yah, sure, that makes sense. Nothing worth going to Civil War over. nobsAll Hail President Que-mala 01:09, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

False. False. False.. I take it you'll now update the CP home page. AceModerator 01:32, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
Check it out Rob. These are the results as reported - Biden received only 15,371 so the 138,339 votes were not counted or added to his total. AceModerator 01:34, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

I don't use twitter so can't view those links. But it doesn't matter because the reported total is 15,371. Not even close to 138,339 so you'll need to make some changes to the Biden Putsch section you wrote. Off you go... AceModerator 01:53, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

And how if you add up all the votes from every county it equals 5,472,595. Which is exactly what was reported. There's no extra 138,339 added Rob. So should you be changing those things on CP? AceModerator 02:43, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

That's how devious we are, nobs! We managed to rig the entire election systems of multiple states currently run by Republicans but then, most cunningly, did not rig the senate to end up with a majority.
