There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.
If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2021.

Geoffrey Simmons (born 1943) is a medical doctor and proponent of intelligent design.
Simmons rejects evolution as he believes (similar to young earth creationists) there are billions of gaps in the fossil record and too many missing links for evolution to be true. He writes that the "only the existence of an all–powerful Designer can explain everything." He sometimes pretends to be a secular intelligent design advocate though his books are published by a Christian group and he has performed lectures as Christian Churches. He debated evolutionary biologist PZ Myers in 2008.
